I was an animator on seasons 3 and 4. I started out really liking Bloo, but by the end of my run I was so frustrated with him. He was so inconsiderate to others! I mean, that was the whole point of the character, but it's interesting that my appreciation of him would go so downhill over the course of a year and a half of animating him. Interesting tidbit: In the clip at the beginning where Eduardo was afraid of the "whisbee," we actually animated the whole thing with the word "Frisbee". Then the producers realized that was a trademarked term and they couldn't use it for legal reason, so they re-recorded the dialogue with the made-up name. I always related a lot to Wilt him constantly apologizing and trying to be on good merits with everyone as much as dramatic it may sound is literally the same thing i do, i remember the other day when i was in a crowded bus someone stepped on my foot and i was the one to say "sorry" . hard to say if i picked up this habit from Wilt bc i was very young and would imitate every character i saw on the screen, or i am just going though the same anxiety as he does. who knows lol

I loved watching this show with my son when he was little. Same with Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron, Hey Arnold and Chowder. They design aesthetic was just as good as the messages.
you haven't lost your imagination, you're just having trouble accessing it because the world tells us we have to grow up fast. Try not giving a damn about what other people think for once and watch your mind wander.
Here's a few that I do: Day dream. Engage in thought experiments. Try not to dismiss ideas outright. Practice creative arts or crafts. And discuss all these new ideas and practices with your friends and family.
Turn off the TV. immerse yourself in silence and nothingness. Embrace boredom and your mind will expand naturally. We have too many devices these days that limit our minds abilities. Shut it all off and see what is possible (:
FHFIF never tried to preach some underlying message because it self was a message, the message was "This is how you make a great show that'll leave the viewers with nostalgia and amazing childhood memories." I will never forget Foster's. This show was such a big part of my childhood and I loved every absurd moment of it. One of the greatest shows in Cartoon Network history!
MY FAVORITE SHOW when I was a kid. Also.... it's really really held up well! Revisiting this show with my kids felt great. One thing I didn’t realize, is that on the Foster’s movie, Good Wilt Hunting, Wilt’s creator was a stand-in for Michael Jordan. So he named his imaginary friend Wilt after Wilt Chamberlain, from the Harlem Globetrotters which is Michael Jordan’s favorite basketball player. Pretty cool imo.

I was like 16 when this show came out and I LOVED IT. Bloo had me in tears laughing. He was such a dick but so loveable😂 Their backstories made me cry more than once. All time favorite show
My favorite episode is when Bloo is trying to learn slang and Coco is learning to be a "proper lady" "All I have to do is give her question in which the answer is Coco! Coco, what is your favorite hot beverage?" Coco! "Coco, what is your favorite shade of brown?" "Coco!" "Coco, who is your favorite sign-language gorilla?" Coco! "By george, I think she's got it!"
Has craig mckraken done anything since? The industry needs more people like him. I look at cartoons now with cheap flash animation, lame stories and i weep
Ehhh Ohhh I should rephrase what he said: Instead of doing more with the Flash program, they do the bare minimum and put it out for children to watch. And since some (not all) children don’t think about what they watch, they (the children) unintentionally encourage them to put out more cut-cornered animation tricks, cheaper art styles and it hurts to see happen in the animation industry.
I was never old enough to grow up with this show, so I’ve been watching episodes to see what I missed out on. This show is a masterpiece, I’m kinda sad I wasn’t around for it ;-;
The episodes where Mac goes crazy on sugar, the hot in Topeka episode, and the episode where Mac is scared to be pranked on his birthday are my favorites

Something in my conscious screamed ‘I want chocolate milk.’ From that yellow lil bastard.
Other possibility: You are simply Midwestern.
I am the same way, if that's any consolation 😂
Same here, I do that too. And the episode where he had to learn how to say no is such a mood too
Yeah, Wilt is pretty much my grandma. And kind of me, as well.
great video. who remembers the Foster’s online game?
I don’t remember the details very much but I do recall playing literally everyday and being SO devastated when it was shut down
Dasola Dina Did you ever play Fusion Fall?
It was called Big Fat Awesome House Party! I think I remember being able to make a character and do quests for the characters. God I miss that game so much ; - ;
Yaaaassss
Yess the only quest I remember was going around picking up dirty laundry or something hahah
Oh man i miss big fat awesome house party. I remember waiting several minutes for the game to load lol. Also figuring out the quests. I think I miss the old cartoon network online games in general too.
I was going to say that “jokes on you I don’t remember the show” but that would be a lie. Because it was my favorite show.
ok, you're the most enjoyable cartoon reviewer to watch by far, but one thing
....u forgot to mention Coco :( *sad coco noises*
Co co 🙁

Literally just watched the "hot in Topeka" clip a week ago
To this day, my dad and I repeat that exact same line whenever it's hot in our area (even though we don't live in Topeka). It's more like our inside joke.
I just thought about that clip like not too long ago because it’s one of those scenes that my mind always brings back
I saw it last week too lol I was gonna comment the same thing
me too! I've caught myself starting to say it at work whenever it's hot outside or I'm at sandwich station too long haha
"I like CHEEEEESSE"
I am one of those adults who watched that show .still love& miss it
I always drove by a street called Topeka, and it took months of saying “Topeeeeeka” in my head to finally figure out where it was from.
So are you telling me i should trip on acid and watch this show?
Doing it rn and yea it's a great idea
The Acid isn't nessecary, and you'll enjoy the parts that make sense as much as the weirdness without it.
Wait your saying youve never seen this 😮😮
that's what i basically got from this video 😈
Nah just smoke a lot of weed. Tried acid and I thought it was going to be completely different. You trip out more about time and dumb shit you don't see cartoons out of nowhere lol but I tripped for like 3 hours just about not having cartoons running around me. Shit made me really sad😂
Gasp we remember shows with character Development, and Interaction!? Who would have thought children, teens and young adults could handle such concepts?
*glares at Hollywood's direction*
Seriously
Man good times indeed
my father and I still make references to this show. whenever someone says “it’s hot,” he instantly responds with “in topeekaaaaa”
You have an awesome dad
Cute ❤️🥺
*Reads Description* Yes...my I do remember the character Blood, he was my favorite...
i got so confused reading the description trying to think of who blood is until i realized he meant bloo lmao

I loved watching this show with my son when he was little. Same with Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron, Hey Arnold and Chowder. They design aesthetic was just as good as the messages.
yes specifically chowder lol
Hey Arnold was soooo good. Perfectly captures that good childhood feeling.
FlyinRaijin I agree
How can I reclaim my imagination? I lost it many moons ago, and would like to get back to having an imagination.
First of all, get you a nice, big box.
Play Dungeons and Dragons, definitely an excersise in imagination
you haven't lost your imagination, you're just having trouble accessing it because the world tells us we have to grow up fast.
FHFIF never tried to preach some underlying message because it self was a message, the message was "This is how you make a great show that'll leave the viewers with nostalgia and amazing childhood memories."
My favorite EP that I can remember off the top of my head was when the group had to deal with that "Evil" unloved toy box filled with toys.
So mission imagination that was a good episode and yes now a days every show has a preachy social message instead of making fun characters and story
That was the movie destination imagination
@@crawlingboy there are some like Gumball that do have a "forced message" but also manage to be funny about it

Ah yes. Fosters. The show of wacky slice-of-life comedy occasionally punctuated by *Existential Horror!*
I was scared when I first saw Eduardo, until I saw him cry and I felt bad so I liked him from that point because the show made me feel bad and relate
Btw the person who voices blue voices reaper from overwatch
Saay whaat?
I just imagined reaper in bloo’s voice... cool mod
No way. 😮
now to get that one soundboard guy to do bloo in overwatch and only play reaper
What the actual fuck that’s awesome!!
I will never forget Foster's. This show was such a big part of my childhood and I loved every absurd moment of it. One of the greatest shows in Cartoon Network history!
I want cartoons for children only
The image of the walking palm tree always pops up in my head randomly.
dont disrespect coco like that
MY FAVORITE SHOW when I was a kid. Also.... it's really really held up well! Revisiting this show with my kids felt great. These characters are timeless, the voice acting is flawless, the art style is beautiful and the story telling is second to none! Thank you so much for making this video. You're the man CP!!!!!
“I like chocolate milk” became my catchphrase because of this show when I was like 9 and I didn’t even like chocolate milk 😂
How did you not like choccy milk
@@xx_somescenecath0lic_xx888 It’s not bad but I prefer hot chocolate, if I’m gonna drink cold flavoured milk I’d rather have strawberry or banana milk 😋
@@WagwanItsBonbon ohhh ok!
I'll never forget the episode where they have to convince Mac's brother that he is dreaming. What a trip.
Ryan Breed I remember the episode where a toy box was dropped off and Frankie went in and the friend with no body just a face tried to keep her there because he was so scared of being alone again being abandoned
Shades of Screen Ah yes, the wilt chamberlain who destroyed teams on the Globetrotters. Not the wilt from the nba who dropped a hundred
Man... Watching this... Now... In the same room where me and all my friends from school would just come home and all watch for hours... Now we hardly talk... I miss the old days....
I was like 16 when this show came out and I LOVED IT. Bloo had me in tears laughing. He was such a dick but so loveable😂

You should do a video on Camp Lazlo as well that was one of my favorites
Did you know Lazlo's mouth is a banana?
Has craig mckraken done anything since? The industry needs more people like him. I look at cartoons now with cheap flash animation, lame stories and i weep
Lol Fosters was made nearly entirely with Flash. And he did make Wander over Yonder (also in Flash.) XP
Ehhh Ohhh
I should rephrase what he said: Instead of doing more with the Flash program, they do the bare minimum and put it out for children to watch. And since some (not all) children don’t think about what they watch, they (the children) unintentionally encourage them to put out more cut-cornered animation tricks, cheaper art styles and it hurts to see happen in the animation industry.
He’s currently working at Netflix, creating a cartoon called “Kid Cosmic”. I don’t think an airdate is announced yet though.
Didn't he finish Samurai Jack?
@@stratomarten oop was it? My mistake

This show is a masterpiece, I’m kinda sad I wasn’t around for it ;-;
The episodes where Mac goes crazy on sugar, the hot in Topeka episode, and the episode where Mac is scared to be pranked on his birthday are my favorites
Yeah, it would be the only thing I watched from when I was 5 to 10; I’m 20 now (time flies by), and trust me, I’m very grateful to have been around when it was on-air. There truly was nothing like it!

Fosters premiered when I was in my mid 20's and I instantly fell in love with the show. It felt different, in a good way. I can still quote 90% of the the episode that introduced Goo, the girl with an over active imagination. ( Season 4 "Go, Goo, Go!" )

This show can't be topped by today's Cartoon Network
Nearly nothing from this era of CN can be topped by today's CN. This era was the prime if you ask me.
The only thing that came close was Adventure Time and that ended.
@@BrotherMalMusic I highly agree. The best and most memorable cartoons are from that era. And I still remember most of them pretty fondly even aftter over a decade.
Adventure time and Steven Universe are trying. Steven universe has huge potential.
Gumball and Adventure Time were the only two shows I’ll say we’re at this level. I guess OK KO too but that’s just because I like the show
