I have noticed this throughout the entire show. The cosmetic make-up of those characters that are Vampires. Tom Jennings, Barnabas, Dirk Wilkins, and now Roxanne. Very effective; creepy and scary.
I rather be a open world video game will choose base options to determine your family's path in your own lore of the Collins family plus it's the only way to be safe in real life not to get bitten
I forgot to mention Roxanne Drew she also one of my favorite Characters she was so beautiful and warm, everyone that's close to Barnabas always met their fate in the hands of Angelique she won't ever let Barnabas be happy if she can't have him for herself.
One of the saddest moments in Dark Shadows was the destruction of Roxanne Drew. She was one of my favorite characters. It still makes me very sad to watch this after all of these years.
Only criticism I can give this series is not enoughf "fang " Wished Barnabas had created more minions to create more mayhem . One of the greatest casting decisions ever in the history of TV was Johnathon Frid being cast as Barnabas, and choosing the guy that did the music gave it a perfect musical mood . I watch a video about the man that created the music ,can't think of his name . Dan Curtis was talented and lucky.
Polite vampires, just close your eyes and rip his arm off. Love this series but oh man do they ever monologue more than a supervillian trying to kill off James Bond. Rarely does anybody die outright in this show without a 10 minute drawn out exposition while looking at the camera.
I was a pre-teen or almost teen and I hated these moments because they always happened on Friday afternoons and I had to go to catholic catchesim classes in 1971,72 and 1973 on Mondays and always missed the ending moment....
Of course we all felt sorry for the Collins . Yes they were rich but they had so much supernatural and natural dysfunction to deal with yet they must have good business people to keep their wealth .
that newly female vampire is so siiiiillllllllyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! who is she? I've know who it is. it's Roxanne Drew, of course. that's who that silly woman is.
@@loribpidgeon Randall then became involved in the mystery of the warlock who was practicing witchcraft at Collinwood. After conducting a brief investigation, he incorrectly determined it was Quentin who was the warlock (it was actually Gerard Stiles) and went to meet with Lamar Trask to reveal his evidence. While he was on his way, he was strangled by an unknown culprit. It was later revealed that he was killed by Gabriel Collins, and Quentin was framed for the murder. Quentin was arrested, but the charges were eventually dropped.

Absolutely incredible acting. So gripping, I can almost feel her pain within myself.
I used to watch Dark Shadows when I was younger. I still love the soap opera even after all these years!
probably the most dramatic and emotional death scene of the entire series, Donna Wandrey, did a fantastic job, great actress
You said exactly what I was going to say!
Sne was good actress i liked her brother to
For two minor and temporary characters within the series, they made a lasting impression in this unforgettable scene.

Thanks for all the shows Dan Curtis
Yes, thank you 😊
And Kolchak as an added bonus.
Ever notice this show made it easy for vampires by keeping the coffin elevated on a pedestal of some kind - and not in the dirt?
Yeah they were the higher class ones . Others had to turn into mist if they were buried in order to get out
Collinswood. The perfect vacation spot..........if your not afraid of the dark.
Well the midnight society has approved this vacation spot get ready for the big story
Would love to go there

Dang, Randall Drew was really good looking!
damn, that was brutal. i may be 17, but i dont think any of my brothers would do something like that to me no matter what
Wow how dramatic! So intense.
I forgot to mention Roxanne Drew she also one of my favorite Characters she was so beautiful and warm, everyone that's close to Barnabas always met their fate in the hands of Angelique she won't ever let Barnabas be happy if she can't have him for herself.
Roxanne was such a cutie. Wow!
So was her brother

It is really very unpleasant isn't it?

4:21 Gasp, there's nothing left. Not even bones or dust! The horror!
I like Randell Drew.....to bad he wasn't on the show more!

Probably got it in a Cracker Jack box or maybe a SOCOM Cereal box.
I know what you mean it takes forever
You mean looking at the teleprompter don't you? 🤣
I can't feel sorry for her.

now we've known that Roxanne Drew is the most silliest woman that has ever lived in the 1840s.
Donna Wandrey rocks.
of course, his brother, Randall, is so silly too.

I still don't get it why didn't juila bring a cross with her makes no sense
Totally rocks!

Sadly - Drew met a sad fate soon after . I liked him . Anything known of the actor who played him ? He died I think
- in the 1980s .
I don't remember how randell died
Amazing I felt the overwhelming sensation of the power of the moment ! ! !
