    Hey man, I feel the same way about solo trips. Primal fear is a great way to put it, but I'm so glad I'm pushing myself to overcome that as well. Great talk! Take care 🤙

    Reminds me a little of the Badlands!! Crazy terrain! That tent is a palace!

      It is a very spacious tent. I have hiked in the Badland's on Castle Trail and have always wanted to get back up there and do some camping. Do you have any camping recommendations?

      @@BarnYardOutdoors are you car camping or backpacking? Hills or Badlands?

      I would like to do both. In the Badlands.

      @@BarnYardOutdoors There are EPIC boondocking spots just south of Wall. There are 2 campgrounds inside the National Park and a KOA right close by too. Ive been to the KOA and it is typical modern campground but a rare shady place if thats needed. The campgrounds within the park are primitive but nice. The one by the visitor center is busier than the Sage Creek Campgrounds. Based on your setup, I would look into the boondocking by Wall or Sage Creek. We backcountry camp there, which yoh can do anywhere 1/4 mile from a road or trail. Feel free to email me if you ever have questions at 76buckley@gmail.com.

    Are there wild animals out there?

    • @BarnYardOutdoors
      @BarnYardOutdoors  3 года назад +1

      None that I saw. The only wildlife I saw was a couple of small birds.

      @@BarnYardOutdoors watch closely for signs and evidence like tracks and scat. It would be nice to know if you saw some. And be sure to take video of it. Thanks
