Finally!!! Someone stating the obvious. What is the core mojo of a every metal band? The GUITAR!!! And holy smokes - Roman is the Gin in Jinjer brotha!!
A lot of modern metal guys use custom luthiers now and multi fx floor units! I’ve noticed a lot use a tube amp on their back line tho for their stage volume which I feel fills out the tone with that real loud saturated power amp sound we all love
@@norwardradtke1361 great comment i was surprised as well at this approach despite having made a similar plunge myself. Their stage set is amazingly bare of amp walls and gigantic drum kits given the power of their performances.
Micheal Muhammad well price is just right, I think that they are even cheaper if you compare them with Gibson/Fender custom shop. Still we are talking a 4 grand guitar, but totally worth it
I'm a fan. Saw and meet them in Austin a few days ago. Lovely folks. They are bone crushing and amazing live. \m/ In my top three "all time" greatest live experiences of my 40 years going to shows.
this band only recently came into my world because of the excellent Justin Hawkins rides again channel and has become a favorite im listening to alot despite being a genre i rarely go for. besides the strength of their vocalist which deserves and gets much attention as a long time musician i became immediately aware of the other 3 less scrutinuzed fellows who play guitar bass and drums i was lucky to come across this video whuch details their gear but also gives a glimpse into the talented musicians themselves who with kind and extremly generous attention share their personal rigs and axes with great attention to detail which i appreciated and enjoyed. amazing and beautiful guitars basses amps each item described in great detail. I think i would have liked to know a bit about string gauges which werent revealed also a huge highlight of the video was the time and detail given to the amazing drummers setup aling with his thoughts about his choices .i am nit a drummer however im si happy this was included as it is mostly overlooked by other rig rundown channels. kudos to band and crew for this look into what i think is making some interesting even iconic music these mostly dreary musical days.
4 of the most amazing human beings I've ever come across. Their musicianship as well as the sound they create is remarkable. Thanks for all your music so far guys.
This is from their show on the 12th! We were there this is FN awesome! As a musician myself to see their gear broken down by one of the most exciting innovative bands in metal is gold. Thanks!
What I love about JINJER is how humble they are when they talk, not like other musicians that will be bragging left and right all cocky, they keep their setup simple and that makes them unique!!!
That is the most I've seen Vlad and Roman talking. Amazing band and great people! They are just what metal needs. Their gear is on point. I wonder what they run to their ears. And Vlad's open handed style is freaking epic!
I love this band. Only issue I have with this lil video is it brings them down to the mortal level. On stage...they sound and play as if far above mortals. Their stage presence just isn't evident when engaged in this manner. They're just mortals here....until they go live. I hope this band has a long and successful career because they are the breath of fresh air metal needed. They didn't just breathe new life into metal, they are their own genre. Cannot wait to see them again in October
I am loving Jinjer. Just discovered them a few months ago, then saw them live in Cincinnati a few weeks ago and they rocked it. I am about to order a Helix and seeing both Roman and Eugene using one just solidified my choice.
Saw them live at San Diego’s Brick by Brick with a meet and greet. Fucking amazing band and super chill to meet. Will definitely see them live again. 😁😁😁🤘🤘🤘♋️♋️♋️
Roman must slam the front end with tons of boost if the pre-amp gain is only on 1. I love his playing style, he's quite the jack of all trades. It always complements their songs so perfectly. I'm seeing them a day after the new album drops, so hopefully they'll play another new song on top of Judgement and Retrospection. They just need to keep doing what they've been doing. I know it's been a long road for them, but they're a rare band that has it all and it's great to see them finally starting to get the recognition they well deserve.
There's no telling what gain and/or boost models the Helix is sending thru, we'd have to step thru his patches to find out. I assume they tried running it thru the Green channel (or the Blue for that matter) and found something lacking.
@@JeffreyTheTaylor Some new info on that: Fluff has a new vid with that exact same amp and he said the gain is so ridiculously much on that amp that he thinks it's a design flaw.
@@ZachComa We have to remember that the EVH EL34s have SEVEN 12AX7s in the preamp. It shouldn't be a surprise that the Gain sweet spot on the Red channel is maybe 2.5 max. Meanwhile that same preamp gives you a ton of flexibility with the Green and Blue channels. There you can really push the Gain (as well as hit it with OD pedals) to get full palate of tones. I think the design goal was to produce a true three channel modern high gain amp that had user friendly tones across all the channels, unlike IMHO Marshall JVM whose Red was a raging monster in my experience.
@@JeffreyTheTaylor I've never played one and didn't realize it had 7, that's a lot of sizzle. I have 5 in my RT100 and that's plenty for most things, so I can imagine what 7 sounds like. I was thinking Roman did what I do, which is back off on amp distortion and boost the it to the 10s going into the amp. With that kind insane distortion already he probably doesn't have that much boost going in, only what he needs to tighten and de-flub that bottom end.
@@ZachComa That's another thing we can't see in Roman's rig -- the Resonance control is on the back of the EVH 50w. It WILL get flubby if you don't pay attention and dial it in, a 10-band EQ outfront is a great help in that regard. I imagine the Helix handles all that for him.
saw them at this venue, same day they did this vid. Vlad's remote hat looked bigger then 14"... really surprised. nice vid. great to see the breakdown of the band's gear. I don't play guitar but I want one of those ODs... they are gorgeous!
Awesome! I always assumed only Tat and Eugene spoke English. Roman and Vlads English is great!! Wonder why they don’t seem to do interviews. I’m so surprised by this.
They were like, real self-conscious about their English, which is silly because it was totally fine, but it's understandable that they might be worried they'd say something weird by accident. I mean, I don't speak any Ukranian so they're way ahead of me haha
So unique Eugene reminds me of Ryan Martine in a way how he plays and how talented he is and no one else sounds like Roman or Tatiana best metal band in the last 5 years maybe more imho
Here is what Tatiana review here gears are like: hi guys, this is my personality which is charming and badass and quite humble, I used the same gig on and off stage since forever! haha
Who else came here to see Eugene’s rig, and was totally impressed with Roman’s guitar collection? By the way, does anyone know for sure what bass Eugene plays in the Pisces Live Session” video ? Thanks!
At around 8:30, does anyone know what the white box on the mic stand to the right is on Vlad's kit? I've noticed this in all the live videos, but haven't seen that before. Is it some type of pre amp for the overheads or something else?
Saw them in Albuquerque a couple weeks ago, and as a drummer myself, it weirded me out that vlads cymbals are tilted towards the crowd. He makes it work though
I was sure this was going to be the first Rig Rundown where the singer will be asked about her mic and monitors for 20 minutes. 😂
If only.... alas. The minions are denied!
At this point I'd watch videos of Jinjer changing a light bulb.
Oooooo were do u find those vids Lol jk but seriously i would too
It would be so mesmerising
did you see Jinjer on Bus Invaders? love that video.
@@Edmundrs3rd yeah i have seen itbut it had the upmost disrespectful comments for Tatiana😓😓

It's cool to hear Roman talk about his gear. His riffs and tone are a big part of the Jinjer sound.

RyThYmnation 1383
and even more. Roman has composed most of their songs
Good damn right. He's too damn, and he truly know way to much to be self taught. Wish he did more playthroughs.
I love that they're gear nerds and actually play interesting, modern guitars instead of the same old boring fenders and gibsons

I wasn't sure he could
Holy shit, you got Roman to speak English on camera. Achievement unlocked.
First Time i see Roman Speak. Great Rig with both Helix \m/
Fabio Rivola This was the first time I hear Vlad speak, Roman has some similar videos where he shows his gear.
I think he's drunk haha
Thanks, Trey! awesome video
Beautiful guitars!
Checked out you're guitars and choked on my coffee when I saw the price sheesh one day maybe I can afford one ,that day is not today or this year

why didn't they explain all the machinery inside tatiana's throat?
