@@rohanchandra8415 would you have any idea on how studying and living in Cardiff differs from someone who's spent their majority time in London?
@@mistryy6794 the main answer is money and time. In London you will most likely get a heavier workload when studying, compared to Cardiff which offer a more holistic and self-taught approach to teaching. The next is money, London pricing for anything is so expensive, whilst Cardiff is extremely more affordable so you can do more with less 😊

This was so helpful! Currently trying to decide which uni to choose out of my offers - I'm struggling to find any Cardiff medical students opinions on the placements being all over Wales, how did you find this? :)
At the start it can be quite challenging because you leave your friends. However, its a great chance to get involved in a medical team as you have no other choice because you are legit living on hospital grounds

invitations for cardiff interview seem to be heavily dependent on gcse grades, can i ask what your score was out of 27 for that portion of the admissions process?
What did you get in your ucat?
I don’t remember the exactly total score but I got 613 average (this didn’t include the decision making section as this was a new trial section introduced for my year and didn’t count to my overall score). Hope this helped 😊

Can I ask what subject you took at A level and what your score was?
I did Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I got A, A, B. I also did Drama as an AS level and got an A*

Thank you so much for this video! I'm currently preparing for interviews and I noticed that on the Cardiff Uni website it says Cardiff has an integrated medicine course but in your video, you mention that it's CBL. Which one should I mention in my interview? Thank you!
From looking at the website. Cardiff University offer case based learning (CBL) (where you learn a breadth of medicine through individual cases on topics) but also begins with PCS (where everyone is given tutorials and lectures to cover an overview of physiology and basic anatomy. So technically it’s both CBL and lecture style teaching but CBL is continued throughout your studying. I hope that helps 😊

Unfortunately, I cant help there because im a British student. If your having trouble with regards to international applications its probably best to contact the university and ask for advice directly.
