Really dig the Jazzmaster shape. Baritone scale would be awesome
Yes
Hey Ray, Mick’s sig won’t be displayed at NAMM. He is really taking his time with the specs and model and we are going over a ton of options. We want to make it classy, usable and it needs to be a fit for him. I’m sure we will finish the design in the next month and they will announce something this summer.
Hey thanks for the info!
Dude, your CD has LIVED in my truck since I got it. Every track is a banger. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
These prices are getting ridiculous
Kinda but if you think about it, they are actually pretty reasonable considering inflation bs
"NT" is "no tremolo", not "neck through".
I have an E-II Arrow NT and it's amazing.
I like the Arrow, except for that little scoop taken out of the inside of the upper wing.
Is it a heavy guitar?
@@finishin.my.coffee8780 it's not heavy, but not light either. I'd say 'average', like a good Strat weight. The cutout does help to get the guitar into a more "playable" position, despite probably being better looking without it, though.
I usually send my guitars' necks out to get scalloped, but this being a neck-thru and $2,300 new has held me back. That's honestly the only thing that could make it any better than it is.
No, it's "neck through". Plenty of NT models with FR trees.
NT 100% means neck-through. If there’s no trem (and it’s not an evertune) they use HT for hardtail
@@Andy86L No, ESP uses NT as Non-tremolo. The first guitar (MH 1000 NT) isn't a neck-through, but Set-Thru. They have a MH-1000 BARITONE which is neck-through and non-tremolo, but it has any postfix except of baritone.
If you weren't kidding. It's the vocalist of beartooth. Ex vocalist of attack attack. I always forget he's a one man band as well.
Caleb shomo
Attack attack's OG drummer too. I remember playing shows with them back in the day when he was still in HS 😂
Saw Beartooth live 4 times back in my high school days. Always a hell of a show. Caleb’s incredibly talented.
Ouch, the prices are up a few hundo on everything across the board.
Congrat again for the album
The XJ was a HH minihumbucker model in see thru blue and red in 2011. But that was it. Glad to see it back and hope it does well enough to get more models next year
Hey Xander I was in one of the live youtube premieres and asked about new E-ii models. The guy running the premiere who was an ESP rep answering questions said they were coming. So hopefully not getting phased out because they’re amazing guitars!
It's quite cool to see so many good specs at that price point. I wished some bigger brands will do the same!
Looking forward to your video on the Dean Guitars lineup. I hope it's good. They need some wins. Love their guitars 🤘
Thx for ltd look love ur channel been looking at them hard as i tried get a m1 eii looking at a 12 plus mth wait .cheers from goosebay labrador canada
I own Roser Guitars , a small guitar builder in PA. This year I premade a few bodies and necks to offer a 30” scale 6-string Baritone option for our STR models. Ours will have Kahler Tremolos on them along with pickups from DiMarzio like the X2N in the bridge.
even though I'm not a singlecut guy, those 'Juniors' look really sweet
_also that silver Horizon III..._
Couple of baritones looking pretty good. Hopefully we could actually get something. I’ve had a eii on pre order since last year. Lol
But all of these are LTDs, which, one might argue, are a little “less” ESP than ESP, yet only ESP is mentioned in the title.
my friend had a 30' seven string from Agile. That thing was sick
I still can't believe I paid 820€ here in France in 2020 for a brand new 2021 LTD "M-1000" Snow White with Floyd 1000SE + Stainless Steel Frets !! I waited 1 year + 1 week to get that guitar (ordered and paid in June 2020, build in Feb 2021, and got it in June 2021 !!), but it was worth the wait !! I like it a lot !! Prices have gone crazy since 2021 ....!!!
Multi scale might be dying for guitar but I think it’s still slowly growing for bass.
The route for the TOM bridge on th LPJ style makes all the difference. Carvin used to do it and i had my s-style ⅞ warmoth built that way as well. Its like top wrapping, but better.
I'm digging that new Jr Les Paul with stainless steel frets ❤
Love the fireblast
I was REALLY hoping we'd get to see Mick's signature, but we know it will be killer when it's ready. Even if he kept the same basic design as his Ibanez and Jackson, it's going to be a BEAST with an ESP build.
The guy playing the phoenix in the demo is Caleb Shomo, the lead singer of beartooth
Mick Thomson probably need times to choose his model base from... I saw him playing with eclipse, horizon... He's still searching his best guitar to be based on
Dope shirt playa ! Where'd you get it ?
Those EC-01FT or whatever are cool
As a newblood 6 string Bari player, I gotta say we're really not eating well this year. Hoping something comes up at/before NAMM, but it looks like majority 27" black S types, if anything at all :')
i was surprised to not see any E-II. I bought one of the MH-1000 ET in white from last years lineup, it has a lot of paint flaws, great build but if I didnt get the extreme discount i did i would of very let down. I also bought a MH-1000 HT, that one was much better finish but it was a Flame top so just clear coating is easier then a solid white i guess. Im glad i bought a few ESP/E-II;LTD's as theyre great but i hope they keep up the quality. That MH-1000 has a buold serial code from before the lockdown so no excuse there.
As an LTD Fanboy, I absolutely love this lineup, The Arrow-1007, SN-1 HT, and the XJ-1 HT have me most excited
LTD’s do have a bit of an above average price but the last 3 guitars I’ve bought were LTD’s they’re literally perfect
I got a B Stock MH1000 with an evertune and it was absolutely flawless
I've yet to encounter a bad Ltd guitar. Even the cheap ones I've played were great.
@@ricksanchezito8972 same
Its a bit pricey by id rather pay a bit of a premium and know my guitar will be quality
New jackson rr24 fr h concept series is going to please alot of alexi fans this year
I agree with the longer baritone rant, I recently tried a 9 string with a 27” scale and it was damn near unplayable, so I opted to get a 30” instead and it plays much better
30' jackson custom baritone was made for Guitarist of sleep token recently and its beautiful
What your channel is about:
-silver burst guitars
-silver burst baritone guitars
holy shit that 7 string baritone eclipse is so beautiful
I agree! So rad
I feel like the same people who complain they're too expensive would be the same ones complaining if they weren't spec'd out.
I’m curious about that 7 string EC baritone. Would prefer a TOM but curious nonetheless. Great overview!
For me, the only problem is the lack of hardtail bridges. There are some but none of them on the models I like. IMO the hardtail is better in every way compared to the TOM. But otherwise, we still get very nice and well-equipped guitars from LTD. That Phoenix or those two charcoal guitars with a hipshot bridge would be perfect.
Have you ever tried the recessed tunomatic bridge? It sort of feels in between a hipshot and a Floyd, I personally always preferred the feel of a tunomatic bridge.
@@DanielGonzalez-fw8kl Not yet but I've seen it before (LTD Josh Middleton model) and I understand the concept and it can definitely feel better than the plain TOM. It's obviously a matter of taste, my first electric guitar was a hardtail, then a Fender type bridge, then two Floyd Roses. In the meantime, I played on Gibson Les Pauls several times (to try them out), which I loved the sound of but I had a strange feeling, which I couldn't say what at the time. Then I got an ESP Horizon (the NT version with a TOM bridge), which is a fantastic guitar but then I realized what's bothering me: with the TOM bridge, I feel like my picking hand is "too high/far" from the guitar and it's less convenient. String height adjustment is only possible at both ends of the bridge, not per string. In addition, if I tune down, it is also possible to adjust the octave of the strings with a slightly longer "path" with the hipshot. Finally, when recording with the TOM, I have to mute the part behind the bridge so that the string doesn't "ring". You don't have to do this with a hipshot.
The headstock on the Jazzmaster one is horrifying. It's what nightmares are made of.
I’m tempted to build a parts-caster with a baritone neck. I want to play tunes that are in Drop B, A#, and A, and I think a baritone would probably fit that need.
Baritone is in B standard so it wouldn’t be in drop B unless you tuned up then dropped which kinda defeats purpose
Would be interesting to take a look at their japanese catalogue for 2024, including Edwards guitars
What ''ESP'' models, those are all LTD's.
First Ibanez and now ESP, habe both basically given up on actual MIJ guitars.
Instead all we get a Made in Indonesia models that sell for insane prices.
I believe there’s no EII guitars because last year was their big EII year. The director said something along those lines last year. So I think they will not be phased out.
When ESP started, they were advertising in the back of "Guitar", "Guitar Player", and "Guitar World", Fender and Gibson clones for 1/2 the price. Then, Metallica started playing ESPs on the road, and the prices went into the thousands of $$$, for, basically, the same guitars they had been selling for $400 - $700. ESP launched LTD as a well-built budget brand. Then, lot's of touring bands started playing LTDs on stage, and the price is getting into the thousands of dollars.
I pre ordered the sn1- Ht
I need the Jazzmaster in my life!
The SN-1 6 string baritone single pick up 27” neck is gonna be everything we’ve ever needed from Ltd
Compound radious Hipshot7 so stoked
They literally do the scalloped frets on every SN guitar. Just for your interest.
Im in love with that koa sn 1000 with evertune.
You didn't talk about it. Maybe i will have a better chance at finding one
I would really like to get my hands on the M-1001. That gold on flat black has my name all over it.
Is the Mick Thomson guitar gonna be an E-II guitar and they've just focused on making a bunch for a huge roll out like the PRS Silver Sky SE maybe?
I appreciate your affinity for longer scale baritone guitars, but the fact that more and more companies are going shorter demonstrates that a majority of players prefer something that feels more like a regular guitar. They make what sells.
The Eclipse "JR" is the sickest guitar I've seen in awhile!!!
Can anyone tell me, what happened to esp usa lineup? Where is no configurator anymore. Why they decided to put it away? Couldn't find any information about that.
Did you see the balaguer baritone? The offset looks pretty sick
Caleb Shomo from Beartooth rockin that Phoenix \m/
ESP better announce Mick guitar at NAMM. Was excited for Bill's guitar until the price tag was announced. I'm getting a Woodrite Warlord silverburst for $600 less.
I could really see them holding out on Mick’s guitar for NAMM in order to bring more hype back to the venue 🤘🔥🔥🤘
Pretty cool
The stainless frets and scalloped fretboard have been features for I believe 3 yrs. now. Kinda new.
Really sad that 8 strings and multi scales are dying, especially with the music I play, used market it is then or legator.
the charchol silverburst is bad ass in my opinion as well!
The people at EsP must have issues with colour. It’s mostly black and white with an off chance for red. And then you watch what they post from the custom shop and go: make that then into a production version!
I just realized the les Paul Jr variation has kinda always been around.....it's the kirk Hammett spider sticker guitar....without the trem.
From my understanding the Seymour Duncan pickups designed for the EC-01s are legit Seymour Duncans. Theyre suppose to be the SD custom custom pickup and I believe they are doing kinda like what EMG did with their Retro Actives where they designed them for the the Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredders before they decided to make them for the public.
ESP is the absolute best guitar company in the world right now
Im pretty bummed too ray haha
Man you’re such a cool fucken dude! I wish we could hang out and rip riffs together🤘
I’ve already pre ordered the LTD GL Desert Eagle… 30 weeks to wait😢
As far as I remember the EII guitars are usually introduced in its separate event.
If you listen to the clips from ESP with Stick to your guns playing the new eclipse variant with the custom pickups that actually sound pretty good
I love the evertune
@10:10….”what kinda pickup we got in this bitch”…hahahaha….love it👍
I like the MK EC-FR (Black Satin)
I think ESP has made the Jaguar looking shape for a bit, at least they have as a bass. Maybe 4 years or so, maybe longer. One thing that might make the 6 string baritone with an evertune interesting is the evertune may reduce the problems you have experienced with 27 inch 6 strings.
There is some really cool models in the ltd range, but the pricing is E2 or greater here in Oz. Very pricey !!
Xander, did you see the jackson guitar 30 baritone single cut???
Really wish the offset one had more finish options than just sandblasted black
I really like the vintage black ec1000. It doesn’t have ss frets though.
I’m pretty sure someone in the comments has already said it but that’s caleb shomo. He started beartooth
I need the xj-1 in 7 string baritone.
I think they will release the LTD first, and E-ii and Original are coming on NAMM
Can’t go wrong with either an ESP or Schecter
I Agree dude. Great instruments
Them scallops perked u up 😅
Shame they're nearly all Fishman Moderns. But people probably said that over a decade ago with EMG's :p
I hope Mick does a sig single cut.
That’s be so cool
They are not phasing anything out, just catching up on the backlog.
E-II is not going anywhere.
Yeah, there are people who have ordered E-II's over a year ago and not yet received them, so they seem to have a huge backlog.
Those prices tho
That 'Dude' looks like Caleb Shomo From attack attack! (2009) era
9:10 bro it is a Seymour Duncan, it’s the new Custom 14, it’s made by Seymour Duncan, it’s just exclusive to some of the 2024 LTD’s
Out of all my 20-ish guitars my E-II Horizon III is my favorite guitar. Bummer i dont see em anymore
The Shiva is sick, but it's clearly going for the niche of sales that Woodbine and Woodrite have been chewing up with their Warlord guitars. I dig it, but not at that price, especially lacking stainless steel frets. I really don't get them consistently making all the signature guitars with cheaper components.
You didn't notice that the Floyd 1000 "SE" is a Floyd 1000, but with the "Stainless Equipped" with Stainless Steel screws.
.... and "NT" means "No Tremolo" .... not Neck Through ..... !!!!
NT stands for non-trem
Ahhh thank you. Learned something new
The ESP video said the JR had a real SD that was exclusive for ESP. I hope it is a real one.
SD Custom Shop spec USA "Custom 14" Triple Ceramic.
"1400$, not that bad."
Um... yeah, that's pretty bad in my opinion. Kind of frustrating to not see creators at least try to stick up for the consumer here.
Nah theyre doing EII stuff too, they just do them in separate "phases," so Phase 1 is the LTD stuff then Phase 2 we'll see more japanese stuff
The Snapper models have had scalloped frets for years now, just fyi.
