This is definitely a keeper, but then again, they all are. The Awake chocolate is amazing 😁. I love that you can be messy and you just deal with it. A big ol’ hug to you, Denise! 🤗
Love that painting! I'm still trying to master stencils. Looks easy and it is not! Acrylics are not my favorite, but I'm giving them a chance to make me like them. Still learning from you, Denise!
Seems it is less paint is the secret to good stencil work! This was a really good video from stencil girl on that: ruclips.net/video/8zBKX2Vhtdk/видео.htmlsi=cP7GUshwSgsz-Gdf
One of the good hints regarding stenciling is always tap off your sponge on a clean part of your pallet. That way you will avoid having paint go underneath the stencil.
I don’t think the gesso changes the dry time, it is basically white acrylic paint with some grit in it so you can layer things on top of it like the pastels I like to use. Otherwise acrylic paint is basically plastic when dry and harder to top with other supplies. I use the gesso for that grit… and because it magically makes the paint spread around easier for me. I just love it! ☺️
I loe the ombre effect and how the gold looks like stars in the sky
It reminds me of a sunset where there are so many colors in the sky just as it is setting.. and the gold looks like stars to me too!! Thank you! 🥰
Beautiful! I thought about when fireworks turn night into day and the shattered bits twinkle as they fall to earth.
Yes! I love that! Thank you! 🥰

@@2lilowlsstudio The video was great. I can see what my problems have been. Too much paint and crummy sponges. Thank you, Denise!!!❤
@@UFOS4 So glad it was helpful!!

Does adding gesso to acrylic paint delay the acrylic drying time? My experience with acrylic layers is that they dry so fast hen thinly applied. Thx
