Killer video man!!! I'm on the hunt for the 59, 800 and 87x and can't decide which to get first. This video does not help haha. They all sound amazing! Which one is the loudest? Again, great video.
@@HollywoodRareGuitars I thought that might be the case... and I would think the JCM800 is the next... I have a Jubilee but I don't consider it very loud. I have it on 6 to keep up with the other guitarist using a B52... his is on 2.5. I've got a sweet deal lined up on a 87x if that falls thru I'll get back with you on yours. But I'd keep it if I was you it sounds AMAZING in the clip.
@@nospamfordc Yeah it's pretty similar to my 1959hw, I like the look of the bigger head shell. I also might try a friedman instead, but who knows, got it priced high might have it for a while
@@HollywoodRareGuitars I would keep the 87x and get the Friedman... The BE 100 DELUXE is the one I want to try. The old BE 100 is good and I want to love it but I''ve not been able to bond with it... It's also not as loud as the Jubilee which seems weird to me. I was told by a tech that worked for them, the lower volume was because of a special transformer they use. Those amps are more about tone and feel if that makes sense. And again thanks for doing these videos a must watch for any Marshall fans or anyone interested in them.
@@shredsquatch4188 Thanks, Dave has done some work on my Marshall JCM 800 combo, when I'm there I ask him if he has some amps in to try and he is always sold out or has them at a different location, so haven't played the be 100 deluxe but some of the others.
Awesome shootout. All yield great tones. Based on the video I find my favourite to be the 1959HW second by the JCM800.
Thanks! I probably play my JCM 800 the most
