All campaigns become underwater campaigns when I make an athamaru water kineticist
One extra detail: Attuned Electroreceptors also allows you to sense ANY creature with the Electricity trait, living or not. Sadly, this is currently kind of useless, due to the strange lack of creatures with that trait. According to AoN, somehow none of the elementals have it, even the ones made of pure lightning. Hopefully, there will be something that fixes that in the future.
a thousand year old athamaru lies on his deathbed
exhales his last breath
the coral in his body: "nah, maybe tomorrow"
For the Coral Lifeline and Disintegrate question, It could be argued that the symbiotes are the ones absorbing a majority of the spell effects, since they are technically a living organism themselves. You still die, and they bring you back to life, but they're the one's that got turned to dust in your stead. Protecting their host and all. And since that's such an ultra niche example, the GM can rule that, since a majority of the player's symbiotes are dead, all related feats are turned off until X amount of rest periods to regrow the colony or they're regrown under the effect of something like a Regenerate.
Them having a wisdom bonus makes sense to me. While they trade information the Nature and Survival are what would give information about the ocean and sea life.
I think the whole elver line is purely for those intending to do a full or mostly aquatic campaign. Given the athamaru are skilled giant eel riders/trainers it goes with their background and lore and could be fun to grow your lil pet until it gets big enough to be a riding mount.
Hmm, Emit Defensive order is like a top-level cantrip damage as a *single* action. Adding sickened and persistent damage keeps it up with other spells. Then 13 reduces it to per hour!? It's a significant feat investment, but its action economy and lasting power are fantastic. I can see it mixing in with other actions like flank -> odor -> strike deals damage of a top-level cantrip with a possible +3 or +4 to hit on the MAP-less strike. It being a single action makes it feel like it's almost worth a spell slot in power.
Would you be able to make a video on prosthetic limbs and leg chairs? I feel like that would be a really cool inclusive video to make since I haven’t seen much love for it and just found out pathfinder has options for it.
That's a great idea, I will consider that when I finish all the stuff from Howl of the Wild
Where are you seeing that moving up or down in the water is difficult terrain? I can't find that.
