Spencer Rattler is looking like a superstar in training camp! 🚀 By the way, we're giving away copies of College Football 25! Follow me to enter. Spencer Rattler, who was famously replaced by Caleb Williams, transferred to South Carolina, and didn't meet expectations, is now turning heads in the NFL. Drafted in the fifth round by the New Orleans Saints, he's impressing everyone, including Chris Olave, who praised his talent and potential. Could Rattler be QB1 for the Saints by the end of the season?

He's always had the physical tools.
It was just a question of if he could get his mental together.
Getting humbled at Oklahoma was the best thing that could've happened to him.

Dude has talent and skills, ya don't get drafted into the NFL without them. The situation with C. Williams was what it was. But ya gotta respect the fact that he didn't give up and kept working til he made it into the league. It would be a fantastic twist of fate if Rattler becomes Drew Brees 2.0 in NOLA and the Bears end up with Caleb Trubisky

I wouldn’t be shocked honestly. I feel like he should’ve been one of the top qbs, but things just haven’t pan out for him as much in college moving here there everywhere.
Now He has 4 years NFL on Saint pretty sure that eases his mind that he’s can almost be patient, and to boot he was tookin in the 5th round in the draft, so there’s really not as much pressure as being pick as the guy to start day 1 .
Sorta a perfect situation for him, and it could make him thrive .

It was never a question of his talent. I think he had to eat a slice of humble pie and also mature like he has done. I think he's got a chance to be a good QB in the NFL if he continues on the path he's been on recently. He's got all the tools physically that was never really a question it was also the stuff between the ears that held Spenser back from reaching his full potential.
