Crystal Backmon I know, right? What’s not to like? I’m so grateful folks take the time to create these teaching videos. It must be a lot of work editing.
Even though it has been a while since you did this video it was wonderful to watch again. Your way of teaching this technique is easy to understand and so very helpful. Thank you very much!
I watched another ladies video and she had me so confused so thank you for making it easy to learn. I too love your voice. I lost my voice box to cancer and I miss talking. Your voice is a gift. I can listen to you all day. Beautiful cards Tracy !
I gave this a try and omg it is so easy. The finished card looks like it took me all day to make. I love it. My favorite is just using the 4.25 x 5.5 flat and adding it to a card base. Thank you so much for sharing this and your template!!!!!
This is so cool! I haven’t been this excited about a new technique in quite a while. Love, love, love it! Thank you. Your explanation of the technique is also very clear which I appreciate.
I am definitely going to be making braided cards like these. You made what I have I have been afraid to try seem extremely easy. So Thank You for this!!!❤️
Wow Tracey TFS, I saw a video notification with that Lattice but didn't watch thinking it was going to be tidious😬 Wrong! Your tutorial makes it easy Gracias Amiga 💝👍👍👍
Oh, this old technique?!😃 I did it about 30 years ago.. And I'm only 43.. I guess nothings new under the sun😂 Awesome! At least I got this one in my corner😉
I have a brass/metal template that I purchased a while back that creates this very lattice design. I believe that I found it at a quilt shop. Unfortunately, I cannot upload a photo, but it makes the process very simple. I don't know who the manufacturer is, but I've had it for a while now. BTW, your card is lovely, and your tutorial was excellent.
I remember doing this years ago. I think I even have a plastic stencil somewhere in my stash. Great fun! Could do some ink blending on the back (white) side before cutting to get some great color combinations. Some pearls in the center where they overlap on the centered card would be beautiful....
What a wonderful tutorial! I enjoyed the pace, the clutter free space/not visually busy video (easier for me to watch despite my own vision issues) and the tidbits and ideas for many different designs and embellishments. Thank you. I have subscribed and look forward to seeing your other tutorials. :)
I love the idea of the lattice work. Thank you for the tutorial. I'll have a go at this technique and see how I get on. 😊 The cards look beautiful too 🌈🦋
Ur art is amazing....I was finding something new for my card making competition in school and I tried this card idea and everyone was amazed to see my card's picture.....I even got the first prize ...thankyou so much ❣️❣️
I made a bookmark using the lattice technique a few years ago. I had lost the pattern, so I am SO happy that I found this link. I didn't cut the end off and glue it to the other end, but I like that look as well as my look of having the "pointy" ends! I just used 2 pieces of wrapping paper and glued them together so that the bookmark was 2 sided. I will sturdy it up with packing tape, or clear contact paper. (I didn't fold the paper in half).
Your right about this card it's very cute. I thought so too the first time I saw it demonstrated by Lisa Cursio. I like your 2nd card, it's very cute. TFS
This is the first of your videos that I've seen. I love the way you explain everything, and I love your cards! I have used this braided style card before, but I really love the way yours turned out. They are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your video with us.
What a great idea, you made it look so easy, that in itself is a sign of a great crafter but also you have such a lovely soothing voice, I made the mistake of watching your video in bed and fell asleep ( I have trouble sleeping so thanks for that x ) basically I am trying to say thank you for this video! Hugs x
Who did a thumbs down on this? Why? Its beautiful! YOU NEED JESUS!!
Crystal Backmon I know, right? What’s not to like? I’m so grateful folks take the time to create these teaching videos. It must be a lot of work editing.
Crystal Backmon I agree, people are so hateful.
They must be living a really sad life to give a thumbs down! I can’t imagine that sadness. Love the video.
