Are heavy inserts or heavy points better for your arrows?

    That’s why I use standard diameter arrows. I use standard aluminum inserts with 150 grain broadheads.

    They definitely hit harder with a 100 grain insert! But there WILL be a "drop"

    Neither heavy arrows are over rated for deer sized game particularly with treestand hunters

      They have their benefits and draw backs for sure!

      Completely agree. 280 fps with 430 grain arrow, quiet fletchings and a good Broadhead. Any faster is diminishing returns in my opinion.
