    I agreed on asics website. So poor in the detail but i got it for 30% off alrrady. My first time using the Asics for trail, the outsole is quite impressive and sticky. I wish it was a bit lighter and could appreciate a more lighter upper. At 56km now it is holding quite well and has soften up quite well. It is a great training trail shoe for me.

      @Run4Adventure  11 месяцев назад +1

      I don't pull my laces tight when I'm running, that's just when I'm filming to demonstrate doing the shoes up. Although on some shoes I do have to pull them a bit tighter depending on the fit of the shoes 👍

      i have high arch and instep. i need to lace my shoes as loose as possible without getting heel slip or else my feet get numb. because of that my laces don't have enough length to do the runners knot and if the laces are short to start with, i need to skip an eyelet.

    • @Run4Adventure
      @Run4Adventure  7 месяцев назад

      The cushioning isn’t massively different in either shoe but the Fujispeed is a lot more stiffer at the mid foot because of the carbon plate. I personally would find the Fujispeed to stiff for long distance 👍

    Hi @Run4Adventure, brilliant video as always! Would you say the Fujilite4's cushioning is good enough for a 50k? I am trialling the Speedgoat 5 but really not liking that I am not close to the ground and the heel lock is horrible on that. I will be running Race to the King and possibly Serpent Trail, races you both familiar with - would you say given it's a good fit, it's a good choice for that terrain over 50k distance vs the Speedgoat 5? Thank you!!

    • @billywd-phd5052
      @billywd-phd5052 4 месяца назад

      I did a 38k run in the fuji lite 2 over some very technical terrain. And my feet were fine. Was also worried that the cushioning might be too thin but they did the job, no blisters , no niggles.

    • @andrasdako2454
      @andrasdako2454 4 месяца назад +2

      @@billywd-phd5052 Thanks! Shoes arrived after this comment and did a 35k also on a technical terrain with no issues. In retrospect can't really compare to the Speedgoat as it's apples and pears comparison, but I would take this over the Speedgoat for a 50k on almost any trails, all day, all night. Also no blisters, roomy toebox (at least for me) and really responsive for a trail shoe. The speedgoat did hurt my achilles and the heel lock was not great at all. It's pretty much the only shoe that hurt my achilles and I've had like 30-40.

      The trail is a much more forgiving environment compared the the hard, flat, repetitive road! When you're running on the trails, the ground if softer but it's also uneven so the body has to adapt to the ground underfoot 👍
