With over half of NHS workers suffering from poor mental health and with one in four NHS staff having considered suicide, our new campaign underlines how, in many cases, NHS staff are sicker than the patients they are treating.

This needs to be shown as a TV ad. NHS staff face so much abuse alongside terrible pay and worse working conditions. People need a harsh reminder that they are human and still greatly affected by the trauma they see every day. To any health care workers reading this, thank-you.

I saw this before a film at the IMAX on Sunday evening. Audience was in total shock and awe. Absolutely essential advertising.

I saw this at the cinema today and it gave me goosebumps and hit me as hard as any film ever could. These people are heroes and do not get enough credit ❤❤❤

I worked in the nhs for over 10 years, worked my way up and qualified as an OT 5 years ago. In 2022, I had a breakdown, got diagnosed with complex PTSD, and I haven't been able to work since. The government has massively let us down and abused our good will for too long. We are sick, just like you. We are dying, just like you. Our hearts break with yours. We see the happiest parents of new life and the darkest days of people's suffering. We actually love what we do; we're just not being supported, financially or psychologically, to do it. I really loved my job. But I can never go back. I'm the patient now, and I get to see the cracks from the other side. We are breaking, and some of us are already broken.

I work clinically in the NHS and saw this at the cinema - it really resonated, very moving, have shared with a number of colleagues who had the same reaction and will also share more widely.

Arguably the most powerful 2 minutes I've ever seen on YT. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone affected by mental health struggles. And to those working in Healthcare, you are not forgotten. I know it is tough, but you are loved, and appreciated, and the world is a better place with you in it! ❤

Whichever agency came up with this needs an award! As do the NHS staff.

Saw this at Frome Westway cinema - having worked in the NHS and with family still there, this is so spot on and heartbreaking. Great piece of work and, as others have mentioned, this should be all over TV and in streaming ads and anywhere it can be. I'll be fundraising off the back of seeing this.

Saw this at the cinema. My wife is a mental health nurse and she says they are seeing more NHS frontline staff than ever. I have set up a monthly donation.

How awful that we need a charity to provide support for NHS staff!

Why is this only at cinema? Needs more widespread release

This is fucking discusting. The NHS should not have to go through this traumatic and bloody shit that they all have. They have saved our lives now it is about time we save them. The Uk government and the rich upper class need to sort this out and not just think about themselves. I prey to God save the NHS workers.

I am a renal patient at my local hospital and I have nothing but praise for the Doctors and Nurses who have looked after me.

That was exactly how I felt working in A and E after the pandemic and ICU during the pandemic

as someone who works in the NHS in one of their labs, this is quite the eye opener, I imagine it applies to more to frontline workers than lab staff, but I had a mental breakdown myself back in january this year to to constant stress and feeling overworked, ((all i do is book in samples and admin paperwork, 5 days a week, for 7 hours a day and we get so many samples our team can barly keep up, no background music or anything like that, we can't even have longish conversations and banter to break the monotonmy because someoe in the lab tells us to be quiet, or tells our manager))

To answer this, remove the language exam and hire nurses from the Philippines.

  • @tim20054

How can we get this on national TV?

We MUST treat them with lots of love and respect, even the ones in care homes are suffering with mental health. 😢❤
