I found the audio of this song which Paul credits as his first ever, on YT (from the Nagra Tapes) long before Get Back. A lot of people in the comments doubted it really was the Beatles, but it clearly was. I think this is a different, longer version than Jackson used? It has a different melody and chords to the version Paul started to play live sometimes in the 90's, but I find it fascinating that even near the end of the band, John remembered it and knew the lyrics. I'm not sure if they ever played it live as the Quarry Men or in the early days of the Beatles, but I'd expect so.
Same version but much longer. Jackson the bonehead only gave us a few seconds, while he wasted about 20 minutes on that potted history of the Beatles at the beginning which we didn't need. So many mere snippets of songs was very annoying. Instead we got the same songs over and over. Paul is feeding John the lyrics throughout if you actually listen.
Thanks.
