I to was Pentecostal, my whole family was, the Holy Spirit lead me to the truth. I didn’t want to accept Ellen White either, I believed everything else 100%, then there was a lady from the church telling me something that EW said and I doubted it, then she looked at me and said, “I thought you said that the Lord led you to the Adventist church,” I told her, oh yes He did, she said, “don’t you think He knew EW is here?” I was taken back a little, but after that I never doubted her again. I love her writings and have given out thousands of her books, especially The Great Controversy in many places.
I grew up in a denomination that was heavily anti-charismatic anti-spiritual gifts, then I experienced to grow strongly in my relationship with God when I got into contact with the charismatic movement and consequently was forced to deeply study the various arguments that are both based on the Bible but come to different conclusions - so far I just know here from Total Onslaught a video touching this subject and from earlier contacts with SDA that they appeared to have a similar convictions as my denominational background - at this point I learn here a lot from Walter Veith's lectures and I agree that much in today's charismatic movement appears questionable - my key experiences are now good 30 years back - just here a biblical example; why is there a gift of interpreting the gift of speaking in tongues if as Walter Veith is teaching it was for evangelism for sharing the gospel directly as it can be understood was happening on the day of Pentecost - but in any case it is good how in this teaching here there was an encouragement for each of us to be responsible for our individual beliefs and each of us to search truth independently
@@SAMBUT What scared the begeezers out of me was , and this prophetic understanding came via study and the aid of the Holy Spirit when I began to keep the Sabbath a couple years before I knew what an Adventist even was, was how it aligned with what the pioneers believed (not the general conference today) and how the entire world has been led WAY off what God intended. Duped by satan himself ...and thinking all is well. It still hurts my heart. I'm still a wretched man and I thank Holy God for His allowing me to see. It still scares me to death. WE are asleep. WE are about to be tried in the fire. I pray God gives me the strength. I pray He continues to use me as an extension of His hand.

Walter Vieth, your information on the Jesuits matched what my grandfather told me as a small child. When I was 6 years old my great grandfather had a wall hanging made with the beasts of Daniel. He started my interest on the subject. I have reread The Great Controversy. The tags I marked the book with make it look like a rainbow. Praise God for Sister White. Sadly most of my family have no interest in the Bible. I was raised SDA, but Mom is resting in Jesus and I am the only one who presses on. Thank you for your work.

Thanks for sharing Martin. The kingdom of darkness crumbles further every time someone shares their testimony, vindicating God, giving glory to Him and blessing someone else's life. Praise the Lord for calling us out of Babylon 🙌 I am totally amazed at what God has opened to me since depending on Jesus for the TRUTH! I'm so thankful that he heard my prayers for His True Way! And YES! It has definitely affected my family as they believe the Baptist faith. They do not understand me at all! That's alright! I will continue to pray for them and do my best to be a example before them. I would take

I'm also glad you & Walter touched on how we are called to turn away from pagan holidays (holy-days) like Christmas & Easter. Sadly, the vast majority of SDAs celebrate those pagan holidays, even though God calls us out of darkness into His marvellous light.
I guess it's not surprising since we are the Anti-Typical Israel and they too were tied to idolatry & pagan practices. May God have mercy upon our church in these last moments of Earth's history.

I think you misunderstood. In the book called ,, The Adventist Home, page 478. It says Christmas should not be ignored. It is observed to commemorate our Savior's birth. ( Even if it is not Jesus birthday) Christmas is a time to Honor God. She talks about people making a waste of it by smothering people with gifts, that lead here nor there. Give things to people that would glorify God. Then God will be glorified. People teach their kids to be selfish, smothering them with gifts when Gods people should be teaching them to give to others and not think about themselves. Christ should be the supreme object, but as Christmas has been observed, the glory has been turned from him to mortal man, whose sinful, defective character made it necessary for him to come to our world. Its ok to give gifts, it is right to bestow upon one another tokens of love and remembrance if we do not forget God, in this, He is our best friend. We can give gifts such as The Great Controversy , and little books like , The Sunshine series , Golden grains series, that point peoples attention back to God and not to self and the kids to. But she does say the day is not to be ignored. She talks about Thanksgiving also. But people can do what ever they want. She does not mention Easter. What does yellow Chickie's and chocolate bunnies have to do with Jesus? She also mentions Christmas trees. Donations for the poor should laden the tree in churches, not tithes and offerings to pay church rent and utilities, etc. Page 462.
It is truly a small world! The Islamic Connection was our 1st introduction to Walter Veith & the Total Onslaught is an amazing series it opened my eyes to what is truly going on in our world. I find Martin's testimony amazing! It's funny how similar our experiences are; the bible alone lead us to this church & 3yrs later we learned who Ellen White was. We have been Adventist for 18yrs now I study her writings often & find them very insightful & life changing. I love how the Lord works. Blessings my brothers from Idaho.
Always amazing how there is always people that will give a thumbs down but yet they don't listen.
I have never heard anything these gentlemen said that was not interesting. These folks are my brothers yet I have never met them, but would like too very much.
I have watched this video and found Martin's story compelling. My God is amazing and He has a calling on all our lives but we have to be willing to heed God's call from darkness and confusion to His marvelous light.
Thank God Martin that you were curious and wanted to know our God because He is always near. He rewards everyone who digilently reaches out to Him. On the the other hand, the enemy is always waiting to pounce and set off all kinds of contrary circumstances to frustrate our walk with God. Be strong and take courage because there are more with you than those against you.

My turning point to God completely was when I discovered the book great controversy in my sister's bookshelf.I read it to the end but to my surprise I didn't discovere EG White but I discovered Christ in a real sense from the scriptures & from that my life completely changed.

Amazing Martin, thank you for being so honest. I to, have been through dance scene 20 plus yrs etc. Only ever went to Sunday school as child for few yrs, there was one time I think I was about nine where I felt I had been touch by god, I repented my sins & felt new. (That feeling was amazing) Then dismissed till I had my son at the age 24 started to study the bible again dismissed it but always felt there was something missing, couldn’t really understand why, so glad of this lockdown it’s as made realise what’s was missing all my life also finding sda (christianity that made sense)plus have never felt so much love back, my friends think I’m nuts! But all I can say it’s making a much better person (one more demon to go-smoking 🥴). Thank you both Martin & Walter, may you be blessed by our lord 🙏💕

I was Catholic then baptist finally SDA. Can identify with all that you were saying about music, dancing etc. Went through these times myself. I went to a lot of seminars and learned more and more about Daniel and Revelations and got to understand the Sabbath and the 7th day rest. I got re baptised in 2007 and now looking forward to the 2nd coming of Christ Jesus.

Thank you for that testimony, very similar to mine, I came into the church through prophecy after having a Job experience, which I don't wish on anyone, but if it brings you to the truth then nothing we go through still isn't worth the price Jesus paid for us. Praise God.

The majority of the physical Israel just would not listen, trust and obey all up to this 2021. And darkness is their or any other unbeliever's lot. So sad.

Two weeks ago we were discussing how nothing on this planet has an identical pair of apples to humans to zebras. This world was created in such perfect chaos that no two of anything are identical. At the end of your testimony you said something so profound, you are identical in belief! Everyone has a different path to Jesus but once on that path we have identical hope. That is powerful. Conformity in thought, unity in Jesus. Awesome!

Thank you so much this was huge! Such a comfort to me as year after year in my family I alone have stopped all pagan celebrations. This journey doesn't come with many cheerleaders coaxing you onward to the finish line I have found. Martin is just spot on, and I am so thankful for his testimony. Walter too, has been such an inspiration and teacher. Prayers for all involved in this ministry, strength, courage and truth.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Religion is not an easy subject for me. My mom was raised Catholic. There were issues. My first wife was quite the drinker. We had a son, there were issues and we divorced. I ended up with custody and quit drinking to raise him properly. My second wife went to a little church and the slightest issue within the church, you were what was called shunned. There were issues there and we divorced. We had a son as well and she fought ruthlessly for custody and won. I rarely see him anymore. I met my 3rd and final wife. Her grandmother was a Baptist Minister. My wife understood a little about the bible and 20 years later we started going to church. Another Baptist church. We also have friends that are Jehovah Witness and eventually they stopped talking to us because we don't agree on some issues. Now I am in lockdown from Covid. I found your RUclips channel last March. I find this very intriguing because from what I am hearing, you take the bible quite literally. I have argued this point to all the churches I attended to no avail. All of them said, this is the way we do things here. Very discouraging to me. I even had a pastor tell me that I need to learn and pray on how to pray properly. Again, very discouraging. Thank you for spending time to do these online videos. It allows me to continue in faith and continue to study the bible - even if I have to do it alone. Very much appreciated. On a side note, I love to hear testimonies. They are very enlightening.
There are lots of people the stuck into religion but don't know the Lord personally. I am so sorry to hear how you been treated. Don't be discouraged keep watching Walter video and study your bible. Jesus saves, jesus saves. If we listened to some people we will lose our salvation. Their behavior and don't show any Christian characters. Keep trusting the Lord.
I love your testimony Martin, you found your way back to God. Having lost so many of my friends to the world I believe it is much more difficult when you have been bought up completely isolated from world until your 19 - 20yrs old, all of a sudden you’re thrown into the World and clueless, they don’t come back and nearly all say Religion destroyed my life. 😭 great,

Thank you so much for what you said about pagan holidays and included Christmas in that. I came to that understanding many years ago while reading my bible. A voice came to me and asked me if I thought that God was any more pleased with pagan holidays as He was with the people years and years ago. Then the voice said no He is just as unpleased with them now as He was then. At that time Christmas was my favorite time of the year. Today the church gives you more reproof about not wanting to do Christmas that anyone. The same thing is said about adding bible teaching to those pagan things to make them ok as was said long ago when they gave a reason for changing the Sabbath and for bringing into the church Idols. Here we are very close to the end of time and fiercely we hang on to these pagan things. I make it an effort to not say anything to people unless they corner me and demand I join in and believe. Doug Batchelor put out a talk to answer the many questions by people wanting to know why we are celebrating a pagan holiday. He gave the same answer used by the priests of old when they brought in idols and changed the 10 Commandments. So thank you for giving me a chance to know that I am not alone in rejecting pagan customs and not a weirdo doing so.
You are not alone, I've only been an Adventist for 2 years now...l came out of Catholicism..then went with a friend to the Pentecostal churches...then 4 years ago God called me out and l obeyed and studied the scriptures on my own with the holy spirit and he lead me straight to the 10 commandments and received in the scriptures that God is not in Christmas, holy spirit directed me to go into history to study ..God is so good, when l came to the SDA church l knew l was home, but couldn't understand why SDA celebrate Christmas, when l read what Ellen white has to say about the Christmas tree it's just doesn't fit in.. anyway l came away from it all to and I'm so happy that Martin came straight out because I've been asking God to reveal this thought these two humble men of God, blessings ❤️

I don't how I missed the beginning of this series, so now I have started with #1 after watching most of the recent episodes. I have reached #43, and I was amazed at my emotional reaction to Martin's testimony. It is very relatable, timely, and pertinent,, as music dominates 95% of the world's traps. Very few people don't have a headphone, earbud, or Bluetooth in/on their ear(s) right now! I mean, a house can't be built by a contractor without music being played; cannot exercise without music, cannot drive a car without music, cannot be in a store without music, etc., etc., etc. If only the people of this earth realized how big of a role music will play in the end time demise, and yet so many are completely oblivious. I, too, really enjoyed techno/trance, and I thought I was "safe", because very few songs have lyrics. It is how I justified hanging onto that part of worldliness which separated me from God. Praise the Lord, Martin, for your testimony.

Yes I remember that too!! The devil puts you on his hit list when you try to reach God. He's pathetic though. God will always win in the end.
I knew Walter's story and hearing Martin's story was just as amazing, two of my favourite people, even though i'm the Grinch and i hate Christmas lol.
