I would love to see a future episode that summarizes all the “recent” prophetic movements in the world in order of occurrences. Something to summarize to bring a newcomer up to speed in terms of prophecy being fulfilled today and over the last 10 years or so. Our SDA pastor here in Southern California, while the church was taking prayer requests for intercessory prayer said, and I quote: "Let us pray for those who have passed away, that they remain in the grace of God." It was during a Zoom church service. I was shocked, to say the least. He has made many ecumenical comments and other comments leading me to wonder about his actual church alignment.

A wonderful study on the state of the dead, a blessing for all who are confused on this issue, may many have a deeper understanding on this topic and clearly see what the bible teaches about death....God does not want any of us to be ignorant concerning death.....it is comforting to know that no one suffers in hell indefinitely or forever, God is merciful, in the end those who choose not to fallow Jesus, their end will be swift and without lingering suffering....

We met at the house of Elias and Ester:) I am commenting here because of something I discovered as I was reading in Ezekiel, that time my husband and I were watching your program on the book of Ezekiel (episode 28 of What´s up.) and I thought it might interest you. If you go to the 7th chapter of Ezekiel verse 10 it says in the original language (Hebrew) “the corona will spring forth”, where in the King James it says “the morning is gone forth” and in verse 7 it says in the original language “The corona is come unto thee,” where in the King James it says “the morning is come unto thee”. This word, tsef-ee-raw, means a crown; a diadem; a mishap; morning. The translators of the Icelandic Bible decided to use the word “crown” (which means both in Icelandic and Spanish and many other languages "corona") and the translators of the King James Bible decided to use the word “morning”. I discovered this as I read my Icelandic Bible. I just thought this was an interesting fact connected to the text that talks about the end.

It's very informative indeed. The insistence of these error by the catholic church is amazing. But many are getting lost because of ignorance hence the spread of the light and truth is very necessary.

This is very timely. Spiritualism will increase. While we discuss the state of the dead, let us always remember to reach out to those who are mourning. A lot of people are at risk of spiritual deceptions because they miss their dead loved ones and heroes and want to hear from them. Spiritualism is one of the strongest deceptions that Satan uses to lure all humans regardless of religious, spiritual, or cultural background. Please, let us be mindful of this as we spread the gospel and look out, with compassion and understanding, for those who mourn and are seeking answers from what they consider to be 'the other side'.
Thank you again for your research and thoughtful biblical presentation. So few faithful voices in the spiritual wilderness of 2020. But, as we know from the Reformation, a few can set a fire burning.

To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:9; At the Mt. of Transfiguration, Moses who died and was buried , and Elijah was caught up in a whirlwind not seeing death, both were talking with Jesus, and they foreshadowed the Rapture when the dead in Christ shall rise first, and we who are alive and remain, shall be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Deuteronomy 34:5-6; 2 Kings 2:11; Mark 9: 1-8; Matthew 17:1-9; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15: 51-57. Shalom.

I am not for the catholic believe about the dead, but neither of the SDA. My believe is also Biblical! The Bible is saying, "after Jesus' have died and resurrected" the saints where also resurrected. If it was done at that time once Jesus' arose, I see no reason why God would not continue after that. Not all the dead are resurrected before Judgement.... The ones that will be judged are asleep waiting for the resurrection and Judgement. This believe does not mean that the soul is immortal or lives on. So I agree with the SDA here. Only God' can do these things at his will!

I have a question about the prophecy in chapter 38 of Ezekiel on whether or not you believe this has happened already? As far as I can perceive, God has not yet judged gog and magog, is this something we can look forward to before His glorious return?

Mr. Veith shows very well how the individual denominations / relegions stand to the state of the dead. The Bible shows a clear picture. It does not contradict itself. In many of the large churches is taught what the people like best. Dying is bad, but going to heaven is cool, but God does not care about our favorite ideas. Jesus himself says in Mt 5,18: "For truly I say to you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not one iota or one stroke of the law shall pass away, until all things have been accomplished." So, unfortunately, God does care what you believe. The Bible is very clear. It is only surprising that on the one hand the symbol of the Christian faith (the Bible) is visibly held high and on the other hand they say that tradition is worth more to them. No wonder that not much is left of the faith of the fathers.

I've always thought about that. How can a Christian claim to be a Christian when they believe in what the serpent said, concerning the immortality of the soul over what God said ? When God said, "the soul that sinneth it shall die."

I have a question off topic, Evolutionist scientist have done recent studies to show that the probability of a amino acid or protein being formed is 10^40, is there anyone doing any research on this from a creation stand point? If so where can i find the research?

Walter and Martin, each time I see an up coming episode I feel a sense of relief at the thought that you two may address life as it is today for all living souls, but you do not. There is no one real out there, this is an inside job and all else is babble - even this show.
Enjoy your presentations. Just a point mentioned today. Immortality is not given on account of obedience as far as I understand? Immortality is given as a gift from God, based on trust/belief in the sacrificial ministry of Christ. I expect this was more of a slip of the tongue but could be misconstrued.

In Genesis 47: 14-27 we can read how everything (money, property and people) became to be owned by pharaoh.

Maybe the reparation refers to a new understanding, a re-evaluation about the deceased, not so much about their own works in an embedded temporal timeframe but the extended grace towards their life. Stoning is often verbal nowadays.
The four beasts: confusion, deception, disorder (in reasonings) and oppression (infliction of false debt comes to mind).
Good teaching again. The Mary they have is not the Mary of scripture, she is some concoction of their own ,some mixture of a goddess.

Greetings, In answer to your question, the explanation is really your experience where the baptism of the holy spirit is considered, God who is in control impresses the believers heart that causes inward change... meaning that the old desires will change and by conviction, one will seek after the things of God which is the truth and our imperfection will be the evidence towards our godly desire and this is how we are empowered, it have everything to do with the heart... the in dwelling of the spirit of God comes by the acceptance of jesus as lord and savior....... (remember it is a gift)...... your faith is your seed for the new heart towards the things of God..... remember that the things of God is foolishness to the natural man..... remember, it is faith base.

Literal. Apart from Him, you and I would be dead. Being drifters in darkness as satan leads us to disobey out of ignorance. Because the Holy Spirit dwells in me, I live, I am made alive. I was dead in my sins. I didn't know better but when the Spirit came I was revived.

The only SDA in my 4 city metro area (only 2, i believe) are in different cities from me and not close. I have a 5 year old girl that I would like to be taught the Truth also. QUESTION FOR ANYONE: Why was the parable of the rich man and Lazarus put in the Bible, does it not confuse those that believe in the immortality of the soul?
{In this parable Christ was meeting the people on their own ground. The doctrine of a conscious state of existence between death and the resurrection was held by many of those who were listening to Christ's words. The Saviour knew of their ideas, and He framed His parable so as to inculcate important truths through these preconceived opinions. He held up before His hearers a mirror wherein they might see themselves in their true relation to God. He used the prevailing opinion to convey the idea He wished to make prominent to all-that no man is valued for his possessions; for all he has belongs to him only as lent by the Lord. A misuse of these gifts will place him below the poorest and most afflicted man who loves God and trusts in Him.
Christ desires His hearers to understand that it is impossible for men to secure the salvation of the soul after death. “Son,” Abraham is represented as answering, “remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed; so that they which would pass from hence to you can not; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.” Thus Christ represented the hopelessness of looking for a second probation. This life is the only time given to man in which to prepare for eternity.
The rich man had not abandoned the idea that he was a child of Abraham, and in his distress he is represented as calling upon him for aid. “Father Abraham,” he prayed, “have mercy on me.” He did not pray to God, but to Abraham. Thus he showed that he placed Abraham above God, and that he relied on his relationship to Abraham for salvation. The thief on the cross offered his prayer to Christ. “Remember me when Thou comest into Thy kingdom,” he said. (Luke 23:42.) And at once the response came, Verily I say unto thee today (as I hang on the cross in humiliation and suffering), thou shalt be with Me in Paradise. But the rich man prayed to Abraham, and his petition was not granted. Christ alone is exalted to be “a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.” Acts 5:31. “Neither is there salvation in any other.” Acts 4:12.
The rich man had spent his life in self-pleasing, and too late he saw that he had made no provision for eternity. He realized his folly, and thought of his brothers, who would go on as he had gone, living to please themselves. Then he made the request, “I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him [Lazarus] to my father's house; for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.” But “Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham; but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rose from the dead.”
When the rich man solicited additional evidence for his brothers, he was plainly told that should this evidence be given, they would not be persuaded. His request cast a reflection on God. It was as if the rich man had said, If you had more thoroughly warned me, I should not now be here. Abraham in his answer to this request is represented as saying, Your brothers have been sufficiently warned. Light has been given them, but they would not see; truth has been presented to them, but they would not hear.
“If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” These words were proved true in the history of the Jewish nation. Christ's last and crowning miracle was the raising of Lazarus of Bethany, after he had been dead four days. The Jews were given this wonderful evidence of the Saviour's divinity, but they rejected it. Lazarus rose from the dead and bore his testimony before them, but they hardened their hearts against all evidence, and even sought to take his life. (John 12:9-11.)
The law and the prophets are God's appointed agencies for the salvation of men. Christ said, Let them give heed to these evidences. If they do not listen to the voice of God in His word, the testimony of a witness raised from the dead would not be heeded}

Question to anyone or AD direct: Iv heard protestant preachers take the word in 1 Peter 3:18-20 and 4:6 as a proof that we go to heaven when we die. Can you help me with this because it dont fit with other parts in the Holy Scripture that says , the dead know nothing.
Ok i hear all that is prescribed herein, yet i have a few questions. First (because it came in "this" order): You skipped over the issue of Samuel, and the fact that his spirit came and scared the witch of Endor (her not believing that the REAL spirit of Samuel would appear at all). Second, the Bosom of Abraham, and how it should be interpreted both in the sense of Christ's preaching to those dead, and in the scripture that discusses the pauper (Lazarus?) who was brought to a place sitting across a chasm from the man who was sent to a place of penalty that requested the pauper (or his benefactor) return to the world of the living and make account of his own life (and death/as it were) to the several siblings of his, whose own lives were in danger of the same.

I have always believed in the state of the dead, did have a very strange experience when my mother died in the 1980’s no one has ever explained. My poor mother in law lost her 2 year old son during WW11 her husband was overseas and unable to sign christening papers and priest told her baby would not go to heaven, but be in limbo, she spoke about this often and suffered greatly
The little child is resting in his grave until Jesus comes to take him home to heaven. How sad that your mother in law believed what the priests said. You did not elaborate on your experience after your mom died but remember evil spirits will perform miracles to decieve you if you dont know what the bible says.

The devil can cause strange things
Imagine the billions of people through history that lived in mental anguish, believing their loved ones burn in daily torment. I was one of them. Waking up from nightmares of my best friend screaming for mercy from the flames of hell. This drove me to atheism in my early 20s.
Thank the LORD I found the truth if God's Word in my late 20s.

Mr. Veith and Mr. Smith, I have a question: If the dead are asleep in the grave as stated many times throughout the Bible, then why did Jesus say to the criminals hanging on the crosses beside him, “Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43?
Paradise, a place on the new Earth, does not yet exist. Read it this way: “Verily I say unto thee today, thou shalt be with me in paradise.” There are errors in translation, and there errors in our understanding. There were no commas when the Gospels were written.
Wouldn't it be good to discuss what the Qur'an says about death? I've read it and it looks almost identical with Roman Catholic beliefs. I've also read a book with graphics which, as I understood it, was almost identical or similar to purgatory beliefs.

What does having a "spirit" detached from sin mean? That's so confusing. It almost sounds like a way to excuse sins done in the body since the spirit is detached from sin. I know this is not biblical but I'm trying to understand their reasoning.

Vaccines are Pharmaceuticals or drugs Ellen White Strongly wrote against drug use, saying basically they do more harm then good, she advocated for Healthy natural remedies as preventative measures and health reform, unfortunately the Adventist Hospital systems do the opposite of what she advocated for,

Drug medication is to be discarded. On this point the conscience of the physician must ever be kept tender and true and clean. The inclination to use poisonous drugs, which kill if they do not cure, needs to be guarded against. Matters have been laid open before me in reference to the use of drugs.
Many have been treated with drugs and the result has been death. Our physicians, by practicing drug medication, have lost many cases that need not have died if they had left their drugs out of the sickroom. {MM 227.5}

Hey, you guys are great, and really have a good grasp on scripture. I almost agree with all your teachings, but I feel compelled to tell you about Revelation 2:18. This puts to rest the argument that Michael is Jesus. Clearly, the same character mentioned in Rev 1, 2:18 with fiery eyes, and feet that looked like they burned in a furnace is Jesus, as per Daniel 3, 10. The problem with your theology is that the man that Michael helps in Dan 10 is undoubtedly Jesus.

It's the Breath of life that returns to God when people die.
* Prophetic scripture tells us that some are resurrected to shame and everlasting contempt.
* We are told in Revelation that the sea, and death and hell deliver up the dead that are in them for the day of judgement.
* We are also warned that anyone who worships the beast and takes his mark of the beast are tormented with fire and brimstone, "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever"
Notice how smoothly Revelation chapter 20 flows into Chapter 21 no more sorrow, suffering, pain and death.

Hell is not right, the word is Hades and means Kingdom of death

Are you able to determine with certainty that the contents will contain DNA/RNA and things like cells from aborted fetuses'? I'd like this tied to the health message and the 6th commandment. I am not for the catholic believe about the dead, but neither of the SDA. My believe is also Biblical! The Bible is saying, "after Jesus' have died and resurrected" the saints where also resurrected. If it was done at that time once Jesus' arose, I see no reason why God would not continue after that. Not all the dead are resurrected before Judgement.... The ones that will be judged are asleep waiting for the resurrection and Judgement. This believe does not mean that the soul is immortal or lives on. So I agree with the SDA here. Only God' can do these things at his will!
