I did these nearly everyday in wrestling, my grip was insane. Gotta get back to these!

Just slapped one of these together with a bar, small rope and a bucket of sand I had laying around and hoooly-shiit.. Best for fore arm pump I've ever got.

there is no need to use shoulders to hold it up. Shoulders will give way before the forearms do. Arms should be down around your stomach or even lower for the forward rolling motion

Thank you Dr. Jim. This may very well be a crucial paramount exercise to add to my new routine for the upcoming Battlefrog Seattle. I have also added Calve raise jumps! 😎💪🏻

To make sure I'm not neglecting any movements - I consider up+down as 1 rep, then I alternate: 1 rep only flexors, 1 rep only extenders..

Hey Jim, I'm trying to replicate your setup on my power rack. Where did you get the piece "pipe" you've got your rope attached to? Not having any luck finding a suitable facsimile.
    Thanks, MW

That's an IronMind wrist roller. I bought one just like that on Amazon.com. The one I purchased is a TDS power wrist roller. You can see my customer review and pictures I included in my review. Same name "grand-poobah". I hope this helps.

is this any good 4 tennis elbow?

    • @patricj951
      @patricj951 2 года назад

Yes it is good for both tennis and golf elbow. Use low resistance for many turns for rehabilitation.
I can also recommend Sidewinder friction roll for that.

@@patricj951 i currently have golfer's elbow. I've been using this method with a 5 lb plate. Do u think that's ok? Or should i go with a lighter plate?

      @@josiahpalau8104
If it does not feel heavy and as long as you can do it for many turns without it hurts it's ok. Just do it so you get a good blood flow in the forearm. That will rehabilitate the golfer's elbow.
I have personally rehabilitated both golfer's and tennis elbow(on each arm) this way.

I tried that with my iron mind wrist roller, but the cord knot on the inside of the wrist roller made it very rough and not smooth rolling!

The thumb close the hand and makes possible the grip. The muscle for grip is the forearm so the thumb makes the forearm works. Without the thumb your forearm doesn't works too much. Other muscles works instead.

How does this work, you aren't holding any weight, you might as well take the weights off and just twist the bar only

@21Customs Bro, do you even know a bit of physics? If not, I suggest you to go back to high school. Why not try it before asking anything? Try first, ask later.
