Wow just love this idea ! I’m a semi beginner quilter and I love to make things square ! I will for sure make a bunch of these. Thanks so much for this tutorial Marie ! 😊🌺
You are SEW very welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial! 💕🧵🪡
I'm a square fan!
Me too! Thanks! 🧵🪡✂️🥰
They are the Cutest Scrappy Square things to make ❤
I’m glad you like this “square” project!
Love the square made from scraps.
Great 👍 Thanks for watching and for leaving me a comment 🥰🧵
I'm doing these for stocking stuffer ideas for our craft fairs, I used Rick rack around the top and added a loop to hang close at hand! So creative.
Yes, that’s wonderful! When I made the tutorial, I was out of magnets, and I actually forgot to even mention that during the tutorial. Out of sight, out of mind, as the saying goes, ha ha!
You're not SQUARE. You are sew creative!
Aww thanks!
Love these square jar openers. I have a craft fair coming up, do you think $5 a square is fair?
I hope the cheaper shelf liner wears well because that square crumb block is so pretty.
Lol, I thought of that exact same thing, ha ha. It’s funny that you mentioned it, because that has run through my mind more than once since I put it together.
I made these a couple of years ago for my quilt guild’s boutique shop we had set up at our quilt show. They were a huge hit as people were buying them for gifts and stocking stuffers. I prefer the square ones to the round ones. One person had the idea of using smaller squares, more like 5”, to keep in their purse for opening those sometimes hard to open water bottles. Another great tutorial, Marie!
I bet they were popular, Nancy! I think they make a great gift and I think I’m going to put them with something else, like a set of potholders, a hanging towel and a bowl cozy. I suppose I could also do a placemat. The idea of the smaller one in the purse is a great idea!
Like the word square, I bought mine at Dollar General
Yay!
😎 Coolest video I've seen today. MARIE, you're my new hero. I have arthritis and my hand strength isn't what it use to be. Your friend from New Mexico, Carla🎶💖💐
Thank you so much! I love you peace sign pic, how cool! I always tell my grandkids that I’m an old hippie, full of peace, love and sunshine, haha!
I just saw your “clip cushion”!! Rewatched this as I’m attempting to catch up my little gift items. Wish me luck!!😅
You can do it! 🥰
I need to make these "square" jar openers. The walking foot tip is very helpful. Thank you, Marie.
You’re very welcome, Patti! You may find that your machine doesn’t need the walking foot, as each machine is different. The two machines I have, one doesn’t mind making them at all and the other one doesn’t like the shelf liner, no matter which way I turn it… facing up or down .
@@MariesScrappyCreations I sew on a 1938 Kenmore Rotary and quilts without a foot. It's a beast. Now the newer Brother doesn't go over anything thick needs the walking foot.
@@yopattig9924 ooooh, nice! I have a treadle machine that will sew through a leather belt, so I know what you mean. A lot of the newer machines really vary.
Square
How fun , thank you!🤞
Thank you for watching and commenting! 💕
Time for me to be hip..not square..These are so cute Marie..Thanks for sharing…..
You’re very welcome, Sterr! Uh oh… you took my saying, ha ha. I have been telling people that Huey Lewis said it was hip to be square, ha ha ha ha ha ha.
I used to be a square dancer. Truth 😊
Love these!
That's awesome! All those great dresses/skirts! Did you sew your own?
@@MariesScrappyCreations no I didn't sew my own. I bought them along with the can cans. It was so much fun.
@redgingerbreadpam I bet it was! Hey, buying is fun, too! I can't sew clothes, lol! A good friend of mine, her parents square danced for years and her mom was already an accomplished seamstress, so she made their matching outfits. I've seen pictures of some... they were amazing.
@MariesScrappyCreations wow I bet they were amazing. I've sewn all my kids Halloween costume as they were growing up. Some actually won contests over the years. I did Mickey in a tux, Donald Duck & Dorothy from wizard of Oz to name a few. But tailored garments, nope 😆
@redgingerbreadpam good for you!!! That's great! I made one sweatshirt in high school home economics class and never sewed any clothing afterwards. My Mom sewed sooo much... many of our clothes, our baby doll and Barbie clothes, bridesmaids gowns for weddings, etc.
I love these ... Ive used mine often. You can also pair it up with a bowl cozy and potholders to make a set for Xmas or as a housewarming gift. Loving another easy to follow tutorial. Thank you Marie xx
I'm glad you like them, my Nannie Bee. You are so right, they can be paired up with a bowl cozy, potholder's, hanging towels, and a few other things. I love it when we come up with all these great ideas, ha ha. Take care and thank you so much for your comment, my sweet friend.
It’s maybe a short video but, oh, it’s an important one. When you live alone, it will help. And it make so nice gifts!! Thanks so much!
Square fabric will be great for this
Thanks for watching!
You're absolutely amazing!! Glad I found your channel. Im am learning so much. Love the scrap jar opener!! I need to practice making a "square" square 😂
Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re here, too. If I haven’t said so yet, WELCOME! ✂️💕🪡
I like the square shape ❤
Me too! Thanks for watching and commenting- happy sewing 🧵
Beautiful square jar opener
Thank you so much! It’s funny that you commented on this video (which is one from when my channel was fairly new). I say it was funny because I was actually making some of these today. Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to comment! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend with plenty of time to sew!
Marie, you are too cool to ever be SQUARE! 😂 I love all your tutorials and I am excited to make more jar openers- all sized squares!
Awww, thank you so much! How did that song go from Back to the Future? 😎🎶It’s hip to be square!
I have a bunch of crumb square pieces that will work beautifully for these. Thanks
You’re very welcome! Don’t you just love it when things work out that way? You have a pile of crumbs square blocks and I give you a way to use them. Definitely a win.
These square jar openers are a great idea. I have some orphaned square blocks that would work quite well. TFS. Debbie 🙂
It sounds like you have everything you need to make up some of these. I hope you're on the Facebook group and can share some pictures, I would love to see your orphan blocks made into jar openers!
SQUARE jar openers are the best. Great for opening pop ! Those caps are hard to open for those with bad hands.
I agree, Beverly. A lot of things are difficult to open these days and these jar openers are very handy. I keep one right in the drawer next to my potholders.
These would go great with some square bowl cozies Marie 😀
Yes they would and we all know who has been busy making those, haha.
Just like anything a bit awkward like slippery fabrics you could use a piece of interfacing on the shelf liner side and cut it away afterwards. Or paper. And it might dull a needle so change it afterwards too. Definitely like small SQUARE projects.
Yes Anita, those are great ideas!! My old machine doesn't like these, whether it's shelf liner side up or down, but the machine I used for the tutorial basically goes right through it without me having to do anything extra.. There are so many differences between sewing machines.
Going to have fun making scrap squares to make these up.
I hope you enjoy making them, I think that they're fun and quick. People love to receive them, too!
Very cute and handy. I wish I could get some of that fabric with the cooking words and ingredients!
Hi Jonna! You can find it in a lot of places, although I think I found mine on Etsy. I think I just search for “kitchen print words cotton”
That’s great advice, Anita. Thank you so much for helping her out
These square jar openers look like they would be easy to make!
Hi Ann! Oh, they’re very easy and I hope you give them a try! Have you joined the Facebook group yet? I’m sure everyone will be posting pictures of their jar openers very soon.
Thank you for the lesson on making these beautiful square jar openers. I have never owned Square openers only round ones but I can make
them round also.
Hi Ricia! You are very welcome! I'm so glad that you liked the little project. I thought it would be a fun idea for us all to try sewing. Take care and have fun!
I love these square jar openers
Thank you, I'm glad that you love them!! Thanks so much for dropping by to comment!
My first time watching your channel!! I love these square jar openers! Thanks so much! Great channel😊
Glad you like them! I’ve been away from video making and my live streams for a while due to being ill, but new content will be coming soon. Thank you so much for subscribing, and I’m glad you like my content! Happy sewing!
Liked your square jar opener video. I'm off to try one and them watch some more of your videos. Thanks Marie.
I'm glad you liked the video! Thank you so much for your comment!
Sponge Bob Square Pants. Lol. I love your video. I have used both shelf liners and they both worked great thank youv❤
You are so welcome! I'm SEW happy you liked this project 💕
I think it will be easy to make this square jar opener.
I bet you'll love making these, Carol!
@@MariesScrappyCreations already went to the store to buy the mat for them. Thank you for the idea. Love your RUclips.
@@carolbertram4325 It sounds like you’re all ready to make them and I bet I know what you’ll be busy doing today, ha ha! Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoy my videos. Take care and have fun sewing.
good information on the differences between the two liners. I'm making these this year, and as you said, I too want them to last forever. My arthritic hands cannot grip to open jars, sometimes even already open pickle jars. Need this item in my kitchen. Thanks again for all the explanations. I like that the gripper stuff can be cut into equal squares.. no waste there.
Glad it was helpful! I know I kept seeing tutorials showing just the one from Dollar Tree and I figured there had to be a difference.
Well i clearly have to do the scrappy one as i'm in the middle of my block 7 and crumbs. I've found using a square of kitchen towel over the liner works perfect to sew and tairs away in seconds...thanks sweetness 🥰
A paper towel? Great idea Jo!
You're very welcome, Jo! As I have been saying in the comment section a lot while replying, it really depends on the sewing machine. Some machines just go right along without any problems, while other ones won't sew over it, no matter what. That's where your idea of paper towel, or maybe some tear away stabilizer, or something like that comes in handy. My machine was OK as long as the shelf liner was facing down
I love your square jar opener
Happy sewing!
Your video was the perfect timing as I am in my second year of craft fairs and looking for handy useful ideas to sell. I am donating a nice raffle basket to the school where I work and these “square” jar openers will be the perfect addition! Your videos are easy to follow and it’s nice to not have to recreate the wheel. TY
Hi Tamie! Are you the same person from today's livestream? 🥰
I'm so happy that the timing was good for this video. I have a few different playlists that you could check out. I used to do a lot of craft fairs, so I like these small and quick (yet useful) items. It's so sweet of you to donate! Someone will be very lucky to win that raffle!
I found when making these square jar openers that if you put a piece of tissue paper between the bed of the machine and the side that has the shelf liner, the jar opener will move smoothly under the foot of the machine. When finished the tissue paper tears away very easily. Jus ta tip for someone who may not have a walking foot or teflon foot
Yes, I have heard a lot of people say that. I tried a Teflon foot when I first started making these, but I didn't find that it was helpful on my machine at, all. My machine really doesn't give me any trouble with these, but I know that for some people, its an issue. Thank you so much for all your helpful suggestions!
Hello, I have made some of the jar openers and used a light weight paper under the rubber part when doing the topstitch around the edges of the squares. It’s just like foundation piecing & the paper tears really easily. This works well for me. 🇦🇺
Great idea! Thanks so much! I had a few others mention that and I wish I had known it for the tutorial, lol. Better late than never. Happy sewing!
Putting a small magnet inside(sewn in corner of SQUARE ) of jar opener keeps handy on side of refrigerator 😊
Hi Nancy! Yes, someone else had mentioned that, but I hadn't thought of it. Fabulous idea, thanks!
Time to Square up and get busy. Lol
Haha Doris, that's a good one. Busy, busy!
Hi Marie greetings from Melbourne Something else to go with oven mitts. A square jar opener.
Great idea, Margaret! I had thought about potholders, bowl cozies, hanging towels, but I’d forgotten about oven mitts!. Thank you for the reminder!
I like to square up my blocks while watching your shows.
Nice! I love your username, by the way! 🐝❤️
Such a cute little gift & seems very easy to make. I used some fabrics that I really didn’t care for and made a cat placemat with the same basic idea. Since it will be washed often, I used spray adhesive (light coating) and didn’t actually attach the shelf liner. It is just cut to the same size as the placemat and under it, much like rug tape. The other difference is that it is rectangular and larger instead of small and square for jars.
Hi Diane! ! Thank you, I’m glad you liked it. That’s a great idea on the cat placemats. I had thought of something similar and how if I put the shelf liner on the back, the cat/dog couldn’t move it around so much. Great minds think alike, my friend! But yes I had thought about the washing and I wasn’t sure if the shelf liner would make it through the laundry, or not.
Thank you. Now I know what to do my orphan sqaures. I enjoyed your words of kindness. We all remember to be kind.
You are so welcome! Yes, a great use for orphan blocks!
Love the square jar openers. Need them often.
Glad you enjoyed this project and yes… they come in very handy!
Love your idea making potholders & square jar openers to match! I made several bedside organizers w/ the shelf liner & using a walking foot made all the difference! Thanks, Marie! 😊
Hi Lesa! Yes, I was almost going to mention during the tutorial that it's basically the same thing as making a mugrug and putting the shelf liner on the back to make it so it doesn't move around. The same idea you have with your bedside organizers. Yes, the walking foot makes a big difference for most sewing machines. Mine will do it without it, but it's much easier with it.
Oh boy! More happy scrapping!! 🥰
I love that saying, "happy scrapping". I know I have used the term a few times, but I love to hear you or any of my other subscribers say it. It makes me smile.
Thank you for this tutorial. I am going to cut some squares and make a couple of these jar openers.
Great idea! They're very handy to keep around the kitchen!
I love the jar opener project. I have a lot of fabric scraps I can cut into a square. We can also make other shapes like oval, circles or triangles.
Hello Portia! Yes, when I was making them for the craft fair, I was just using small pieces of leftover fabric. But I love to sew my crumbs together for any reason I can think of, and I thought they made a really cute jar opener. How fun sewing!
I just love this idea. Have been trying to come up with some Christmas gifts for my beauty salon and these square jar openers are great. Also making little square fabric boxes and will put these inside of them for gifting. Thanks
Sounds great! I’m so glad this will be helpful for you! Happy sewing!
I also make a Square plexiglass template for my craft fair project like this. That way they always come out the same size square.
That is an awesome idea! These jar openers are such a quick project and your idea would make them even quicker and easier. Thank you so much!
Hello and thanks Marie
You're welcome (and hello!)
all of those unused SQUARES.... I have will now be used to make jar openers..what great gifts for the lady;s in the family
Hi Betty! I bet I love them and thank you so much for letting me know you liked the video. Take care!
Love these Square jar openers. Thank you for another great tutorial
You’re welcome, as always. I’m just happy that so many people found it helpful. Thank you so much for letting me know and I hope you have a great week of sewing!
Hi Marie - I think matching a square jar opener with a set of pot holders would make a nice gift. Or even with a hanging kitchen towel. I have wanted to try making some of these for quite awhile now. I think I am more afraid the liner is going to catch in my machine. I hadn't thought of giving the walking foot a try though. See you again soon, have a great week!
Hi Marie! Thank you so much! Yes, we could pair them up with pot holders, hanging towels, bowl cosies, placemats or any other number of things for gifts. I'm not sure if you've tried making these yet, or not, but, you may find that your machine is like mine and it just basically glides right along. I have to use my walking foot, but as long as I have the shelf liner facing down to the bed of my machine, it goes right through. If I do it with the shelf liner up, it's a bit wonky.
Love your idea on the square jar openers, the size is perfect. putting them on my to do list. Thank you.
You’re very welcome, Linda! Yes, and the size is perfect for using the shelf liner, since it comes in 12 inch widths, you can get two out of the width. Very handy! I hope you have fun making yours!
Thank you enjoyed your video. I liked that it is an easy square.
Hi June! Thank you so much for watching and letting me know you enjoyed my video. I appreciate that you took the time to come and comment, thank you!
I love those squares. I did some years ago but they were circles. Circles r a lot harder to see,
Hi Susana! I had purchased some round one years ago, but they were just a thin layer of that rubbery feeling stuff. I am going to make one to match my set of potholders that I made a while back. I definitely prefer the square ones. Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for watching!
Thanks Marie , it was nice seeing you 2 days in a row. Love this project nice and square. Scrappy and easy.. perfect for here and a few neighbors at Xmas time along with Xmas desserts. Thanks and have a great day. Hugs
Aw you’re so sweet to say so, but I was hoping you all wouldn’t get tired of me, seeing as you had to see me two days in a row, ha ha. I’m glad you like the project and yes, I think they would make great Christmas gift add-ins!
Thanks Marie. Great Lil square jar openers. Having RA, I use jar openers all the time- usually just pieces of shelf liner. I love the idea of adding fabric- sweet!
Hello there Rose! I have RA, too. Ofcourse our beautiful fabrics will dress up just a plain square of shelf liner. I bet I know what you’ve been sewing today! Thanks so much for dropping by to comment and I hope you have a wonderful week!
Owo, I just found your channel and I love it
Thanks for your creative inspiration.
I have made these, but I used bigger squares because of the larger jars. 10 to 12 inches. Worked out well, and they loved them. Thanks for giving me more tricks to use. Have a blessed day. Pat from Central Arkansas.
Hello Pat and welcome to my channel! Thanks for telling me about your larger jar openers, that's great!
Thank you-Great video of square jar openers!
You're very welcome, I'm glad you found it helpful! I appreciate you taking the time to watch one of my videos as well as time to comment. That means a lot to me. Hope you have a great day and happy sewing!
with these cool jar openers as presents, I will never be considered SQUARE among my family members! Thanks!
Good one Melinda! Haha!
I just found you on RUclips. Love this video Can't wait to try these "square" jar openers!
Welcome to my channel, I'm so happy that you found me and that you enjoy my content. My videos have been a little inconsistent over the past few weeks because of the holidays, but I'm sure I have enough up on my channel for you to watch. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, I appreciate that!
I have used paper when sewing with the shelf liner and then tore it away. It does help move it under your pressure foot.
I put the paper on the bottom. Between the shelf liner and the bed of my sewing machine.
Hi Richard! Yes, I suppose that would work, although I didn't really have any problem with mine. I had a problem if it was the shelf lining side up towards my needle, but if it was down against the bed of my machine, it was gliding right through. But I know my other sewing machine, it will fetch up on it either way, up or down and I would have to use a stitch and tear stabilizer, paper, or something. Thank you!
Nice video. Been wanting to make these “SQUARES” jar openers. ty
You’re very welcome, I’m glad you found it helpful!
My mind is swimming with left over SQUARES! Thanks for this craft fair idea too. I just retired and joined a senior center. Their fair is in a few weeks!
Wonderful! This sounds like a perfect thing for you at the perfect time!
Love the jar opener with the red fabric 👍🏻👍🏻🪡🧵
Thanks, me too!
Just saw this. While watching it I was thinking I might try it with adding a loop to hang it or a mini magnet so it can hang on the refrigerator. Thanks for a great video.
Yes, I added a magnet in the corner of mine. Have fun sewing
Great for gift giving. Love the square jar opener
Thank you so much Carol! I’m going to make some to match hanging kitchen towels, bowl cozies, potholders, etc for Christmas gift giving.
A "not so square tip" for your viewers...Take a piece of leftover shelf liner and place it under your sewing machine foot. The foot will now stay in place and not slide.
I like to place a magnet in the top corner of my jar openers so they can hang on the refrigerator for easy access.
Thanks! Yes, many commenters have mentioned the magnet and I actually had meant to mention it during the tutorial, but I didn't have any on-hand at the time and I forgot 😅. I appreciate your comment! 🧵✂️
I will be making these! Thank you for the square idea!!
You’re very welcome! I’m glad I could be of help. Have fun sewing!
Thanks for the idea. I loved it.
You're welcome! I'm so glad you like it!
Love the jar opener. She put a square tablecloth on a round table. 😅
I'm glad this was useful for you, thank you for letting me know!
What a great idea using fabric to back the square !
Much cuter than just having the piece of shelf liner.
Hello Elena! Thank you so much and I'm glad you like the method I used. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment, thank you!
Awesome tutorial. I have made these square jar openers and had a bit of trouble getting the top stitching to look good. I never even thought to use my walking foot, so that’s a tip I will try. My walking foot came with my machine and as I’m not a quilter I thought I didn’t need it so always forget it’s even there. Will try and use it more especially if I am having problems with neat top stitching. I have watch lots of your videos and have only just thought to actually subscribe. Hope to learn lots more from you and your fab tutorials.
Much love and Huggles from Wales, Uk xx
Hello and thank you so much for a wonderful comment! See? I didn’t even know you were out there watching me until now and here you are, ha ha. Yes, the top stitching can get a wee bit tricky, depending on the sewing machine. The one that I use most often doesn’t have a any problem if I put the shelf liner down towards the bed of my sewing machine, but if it’s up… nope, won’t do it. My other sewing machine won’t work either way and it gets caught up and I have to use paper or something that I can tear away underneath it. Thank you so much for subscribing and I look forward to seeing you more in the future in the comment section and hopefully on a live stream. Take care and happy sewing!
I just found your channel recently and I love it. The square jar openers are a wonderful idea and I think they would be good round also, but I'm not sure I can do the topstitching on the round ones as well. I'll give both a try. And thanks for showing so many crumb quilt ideas. I just started using crumbs and I want to do a presentation at my quilt group so I will be sure to tell them about your channel.
Hello and welcome to my channel, I’m so happy that you found me! I’m glad you like the jar openers and I think other shapes would be great, too. But like you say, topstitching might be a bit trickier on the round ones, although I’m betting it can be done without too much fuss. Oh, you’re a fellow crumb lover, too?? I just love my crumbs and I love to use them in projects.
I will definitely be making these square jar openers ! thanks for sharing your knowledge...
You are so welcome!
@@MariesScrappyCreations I just made a set of these jar openers for my daughter. she saw the one i have, which is made the same way following your instructions and they turned out nice! i will email the pics to you so you can see. thanks again....
I love this idea of using a leftover square to make something that is a helpful item in my kitchen.
@nannygayle2 I've been trying to let you know for 3 weeks that your name was drawn for the Creative Word of the Day winner - I drew your name during a livestream What’s Up Wednesday and have been trying unsuccessfully to get ahold of you. I even tried on our Facebook group. Please email me at mariesscrappycreations@yahoo.com
I think, for the cost of a square of shelf liner and 2 squares of fabric, this has to be one of the quickest and easiest projects to make money at a craft fair. Thank you for the tutorial. There are others out there, but I saw yours first and it’s great! Also thanks for the comparison of the two types of liner material.
You’re very welcome! I had seen and read tutorials, and all of them were using the dollar store jar grippers, and I knew there must be a difference, and I wanted to do an honest comparison. I figured the only way to do that was to use them both types and let you guys know what my opinion was. Of course, I then leave it open for whatever anyone wanted to use for their own jar openers. I agree, you can’t get much cheaper on something to make and sell and these things sell like hotcakes, it’s unbelievable. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! Happy sewing!
I truly enjoyed how you used a scrap square to create a jar opener!
I'm glad you liked the project
I love making square hot pads
Hi Ann! I do, too! I was saying in another comment that I bet it would be a nice Christmas gift to give away a set of potholders, jar opener, bowl cozy, and placemats that all match. How fun would that be?
Cute, my grandma used to make these round. I like the squares better
Hi Mona! I haven’t seen any handmade round ones before, but that’s interesting. Thank you so much for sharing that.
I’m learning to sew and I’m practicing straight lines and miter corners. So “square” projects like this are perfect for me! Thank you.
you're very welcome and just keep at it, you'll learn more all the time. Enjoy!
I love your square jar openers and I will probably make some for Christmas gifts.
Hello Evelyn! I’m glad you liked the jar openers and I’m positive that they would make great Christmas gifts. Have lots of fun sewing them and thank you so much for watching and commenting, I appreciate that!
I square love it
Thank you! ❤️
Hi Marie! I've made these using flannel in the middle and 2 pieces of shelf liner. They work, but yours are much prettier than what mine came out like. I'm going to have to try these square shaped ones, I did rectangles. Lol! I do have plenty of orphan blocks all ready to go and extra shelf liner. I love it when I have everything you need to make something! 💕 Thank you for another wonderful tutorial. ❤️
Hello Amanda! I've never heard of using 2 pieces of shelf line or, but I suppose that would work, too. Yes, I used a lot of old flannel shirts when making these and I think it's a great use of something we already have.
A square of tissue paper put against the rubber side will keep it from sticking, then just get it wet by the stitching line, snd it will come off easily
Thank you so much for that tip!
I got a beautiful square dish, from my Daughter for Mother’s Day!
Wonderful! 🥰
I will be making 30 squares today for a matching game.
Oh my goodness Cathy, I wonder if it’s the same matching game that I’m going to be making a tutorial about soon? It’s kind of like a children’s matching game where they turn over two and try to remember where the pairs are. Either way, thank you so much for watching and commenting. Have a great week and happy sewing!
A six inch square jar opener is a great idea. I'll be sure to give it a go. Thank you for the video.
You're very welcome and I'm glad it was helpful!
These are great for gifts and holiday craft shows. Matching square kitchen items that fit perfectly together!
Perfect! I’m glad this video helped
Great idea!
Thanks!
Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
This is a great way to use some of those orphan square blocks. I'm going to try this today. Thanks for an easy to follow tutorial and thanks for including the stitch lengths.
You are so welcome! I'm glad I was able to help you find a way to use up some of those orphan blocks, which I'm sure are gorgeous! Have fun sewing!
Hello Marie! I am back from a 3 week visit with my sister in Wa State. I have missed being part of the live streams. I am now enjoying all the replays. I think this project seems so easy and of course useful. Thanks for the SQUARE idea!! Take care.
Hi Sherry! I had wondered why I hadn't seen you around. I'm glad you're watching the replays and I hope you enjoy them. I hope you had fun at your sister's place.
I add a little round magnet in the corner so it sticks to the side of my refrigerator.
Yes, that’s a great idea and one that many have mentioned. Since I put mine in a drawer, it kind of slipped my mind to mention adding it during the video. Have a great rest of your weekend!
