yes! cruelty free concealers! I always have a hard time looking for cruelty free drugstore concealer that can stay for a longer period of time, and I am just so happy to learn from you which one are the good ones, thanks beautiful😉
My favorite consealor is the Catrice! I bought the Catrice and the Shape Tape at the same time and kept gravitating to the Catrice one! I've gone through 3 tubes of it and haven't even finished my shape tape yet! But I have normal to dry skin and usually don't get too much creasing with products! It's crazy how someone's holy grail can be another's holy fail!

My daughters kept stealing my Estee Lauder concealer so I went on the hunt for a dupe. Took some time, but catrice is our new holy grail! Both the poured kind in the tub and the liquid one she tested here. I can buy 5 x's the amount for the same price. Woo Hoo!!!
I can't believe the Ulta concealer did that to u! I absolutely love the formula for my under-eye area. The only thing that I didn't like was the shade options for deeper skin tones.
At 57 all concealers tend to crease on me but I’ve found the NYX proof it works well as long as I don’t use too much. I don’t have very dark circles to hide, this has medium coverage.
laurie nielsen does the 'proof it' work well with dry (very) in your opinion? To keep creases away I need to lightly powder and it looks so dry I'd almost rather go w/out it!!! I've been wondering how it would work under my eyes, thanks ❤

Alicos Smallwood I like to use the PF skin boosting oil Elixir under my eyes first and in other places. I love that oil!! Also i sometimes add a drop of it on the tip of blender before i blend out my concealer. I hear you on the dry under eyes. Ugh. I do use a color corrector first. I still like my Maybelline Better Skin concealer. It just feels so nice going on. The WNW concealer applies okay but it's a tad thinner. I use that on the rest of my face tho. You have to keep dipping in but to use on my face it's fine. Concealers are such a struggle! Lol
I'm 59, I also have to apply oil either with moisturizer or foundation for a smooth application. Primer is not enough to ensure smooth coverage and I buy hydrating version of products, def no matte products! I use Jojoba oil with moisturizer and Smashbox Primer oil AND Laura Mercier hydrating primer. I use a small dab of Smashbox poreless primer in the Tzone, a light dusting of Laura Mercier setting powder in the T-zone and I get smooth looking skin that lasts all day in the FL heat. Us older gals have to use more oils to keep the skin hydrated. I also have hypothyroidism and my skin is even more drier than my friends at this age, so I have to deal with both, it's quite a challenge!😣 Don't be afraid to use oils. A drop or two (not on the Tzone) can make a huge difference with makeup application.
It can be a little dry looking by around 6-8 hrs. I do use hyloronic acid, cerave pm moisturizer and a moisturizing sunscreen before a pore filling primer. I believe I will try a little physicians formula oil under my eyes also. I hear it helps. I hate to use too much as I don’t want to get millia but, at my age who cares. The kokie concealer is not drying at all..it looks soooo glowy and natural and makes my under eyes looks moisturize (btw I have very dry skin). Its rare that a concealer doesn’t look cakey on me but this one works perfectly. sorry if I made any mistakes English is not my first language
Hey, Zabz, as always you nailed it. In one of your recent Frugal Fridayz, you mentioned that you were working on an updated version of a Battle Of The Drugstore Setting Sprays. That's something I can't wait to see. Recently, in my local Wal Mart, I've noticed an expansion of the Hard Candy Setting Spray line. They still have the original, that was one of your winners alongside Ulta's matte setting spray. Both solid setting sprays, part of my regular routine might I add. Hard Candy has expanded their line to include three new formulas at the original $6.00, and raised the Sheer Envy Prime and Set to $8.00, stinkers. Anyway, I would love to see those included. Perhaps, even a separate little video?

I have been loving the colour-pop concealer! A lot of RUclipsrs thought it was too drying for their under eye area however my skin is quite oily as are my eyelids. I think it's perfect and at $5 or $6 you can't beat the price.
I bought the Catrice concealer on recommendation from another RUclipsr, who claimed it was full coverage and didn't crease... Unfortunately, it creased very badly, and I was disappointed as I'd always trusted her opinions. As your opinions always hold true for me, I was excited (and a little nervous!) to see what you thought of it. And I'm delighted that once again we shared the same experience! I will always trust your opinions, even though I've got dry skin and yours is more oily!!
I have had really good luck with the kokie be bright and it is my current favorite over shape tape. Looking forward to trying the flower, no.7, and hard candy glamouflage recommended in a viewers comment. Love the positive dialogue in this thread. ❤️

I love the catrice concealer. I found the trick to it not creasing was waiting for it to settle into the lines and then go over it again with a sponge before powdering it down.
I love the flower beauty concealer too - it’s soo good & I look forward to trying out the No.7 next. I have a few on deck that I’d like to finish up 1st. 😊
From what I've heard from other reviewers, the Instaready concealer is very similar in consistency and coverage to the Kat Von D Tattoo concealer, so I can understand it being so cakey! Maybe better for stage makeup? Awesome review as always! I love any reason to buy No.7 products, so I might give that one a try!
Same! I stopped coloring my hair this beautiful deep burgundy/violet last year because the maintenance for reds is twice as much as any other shade. But I loved it. I miss it too when I see Zabrenas hair. She’s got some SERIOUS locks 😘

I don't often use the Physicians Formula Insta Ready concealer under my eye (and if I do, I'll bake it since it has a very hydrating feel to it), but on blemishes, it's WONDERFUL! I have horrible acne and this covers it no problem and lasts all day when I set it with powder. My only issue is the shades. The lightest shade is too pink and the next shade up is too dark, so I have to mix them to get a decent shade, which usually leads to having way too much concealer.
Catrice camouflage is actually one of my favorite drugstore brands, but as you said some work fir us, and some don’t! I just really like the coverage and it seems to stay put during the day. I have also fallen in love with the revolution conceal and define full coverage concealer. Very similar to the shape tape, but not as thick as the shape tape.
I was literally thinking of going to Sephora to find a good concealer that is long wearing, good color match, medium to full coverage, and crease resistant lol! I have high expectations when it comes to concealers and I find it ironic that you uploaded this video!😂 my prayers have been answered!!💖🙏 I kept looking at the thumbnail thinking I may or may not find a good product!😂 but then I thought "hmmm maybe she's onto something🤔" lol! I was using the Maybelline fit me but recently tried the hard candy glamaflouge. For $5 I think it's great coverage. The pencil concealer is good as a brightening waterline eyeliner of sorts too. It creases a bit in fine lines but I think it's because I don't have a good under eye powder. Any recommendations for a non dry under eye powder from the drugstore?

Omg I love using the Catrice concealer with the Essence All About Matt! powder. I usually semi - bake my under eyes as well, and I find the undereye area looks and feels super smooth the entire day. Ughhh, I’m so sad the Catrice concealer didn’t work out for you. 😩 I’m gonna have to give the No 7 and Flower Beauty concealers a try. Thank you for always being so informative 😊
Aw, I just hated No7 illuminating because the container was sooo empty that I could have bought a very nice high end for the same price per oz. It wouldn’t have lasted long at that rate and I would have had to repurchase right away. But one of my faves (please please don’t discontinue this) is NYX waterproof, it’s reliable!! And I haven’t come close to using up a tube!! I have very dark under eye and I LOVE your reviews!!
Southerncharmed 411 I love to oil up my under eyes first. Lol. I love the PF skin boosting oil elixir. Oil seems to help my under eyes pretty well. I sometime put a dab of oil on tip of my blender before i smooth out my concealer. It's a process tho.

I have pretty dry under eyes that crease easily, so i only set them a tiny bit with powder, but only directly under my eye, where the tiny bit of creasing occurs, and the Kokie concealer is the best drugstore concealer I have tried yet! Even better than the Maybelline FitMe and Instant Age Rewind in my opinion...
The Catrice Concealer looks flawless on me even after 11 hours of wear time. But I have only combo und not oily skin. The skin under my eyes is normal.
I feel the best drug store concealers come from Maybeline. My absolute favorite and first go to is Their age rewind it doesn't crease and doesn't move all day and still looks pretty fresh at the end of a pretty long day. My 2nd favorite is the Maybeline Fit Me concealer it's light weight gives great coverage doesn't crease and this also wears all day. I've tried so many in different price ranges and I always regret it and come back to these. Thanks for the video 👍
Jill Sivertson Totally agree with you! Maybelline makes the best concealers! I have tried to force myself to like Tarte Shape Tape 3 times! I purchased it when it first launched when it came back in stock. I ordered 2, before ever even trying it, just because it was so in demand and I didn't know when it would come back in stock. I thought I loved it at first and used quite a bit, then gave the rest of that tube to my friend, later on gave her the brand new 2nd tube, then I thought I missed it (lol) and went out and repurchased it and now that tube is just collecting dust while I fly through my Fit Me, Dream Lumi, Age Rewind, and Master Conceal lol . It's not a bad concealer, but I don't get the hype at all. It's pretty drying and matte and doesn't flatter my undereyes. It says it has all these 'good for your skin ingredients' in it, but they are at the very bottom of the ingredients list and I certainly don't notice any moisturization from it. Just another overhyped RUclips product, IMO. I'm predicting that the 'Big Influencers' are going to do the same thing with this new Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer. $30 for 0.12 ounces of product??!? No Ma'am. I got my Fit Me and all is right with the world! 😆
+Jaradiahihscott. I'm positive I spelled that wrong I agree about the tarte concelear its over hyped. I've tried quite a few. A matte concealer is drying a 20 yr old may get away with it but as you get older and even in your 20's you want as much hydration under your eyes as you can get A light weight liquid concelear is best it's brightening and they don't look dry and crusty or fall into your fine lines making you look older and decreped. And also people get caught up in hype with high end makeup that's expensive but that doesn't mean it's good. I loooove those Maybeline concealers they look so good and last all day.
I m using the catrice one for 2 years. I love how it look under my eyes. So if you can t afford expensier concealer I would say it is worth trying. Btw in Europe it costs around 4 $ a bit less in my country
I bought the gotcha covered concealer by NYX after your recommendations! it's really good and high coverage but I find it creases a lot on me because it has such a moisturising consistency... I really like it though because it covers and brightens but I have to set it with a lot of powder to make it last. Love you Zabrena you're gorgeous
Have you tried the Garnier Clearly Brighter Anti-dark Circle Eye Roller? It’s amazing!!! It isn’t full coverage. It doesn’t crease, look cakey, or dry out my under eye area.
I'm going to try my PF one again. I do have to blend it w a dab of oil tho. Yes, the pump is awful!! You do pump out way too much!! But i want to just try it again for how it wears. I do want to use most of it up before i throw it out.
It's not drugstore, but I've always used the Judith August "The Everything Pencil" in Ultra Light. It's ALL I use on my undereye trenches because it's the ONLY thing that's ever covered them AND stayed put! The pencil lasts me well over a year and as soon as i run out, I buy another. They recently reformulated it though and my ultralight shade isn't as pale 😩 *sigh*
I had disasterour results with the Wet N Wild HD, NYX HD , any Rimmel or Covergirl. I loved the Maybelliene Dreami Lumi, but for me it was more brightening than concealing..but I still love(d) it. I had been curious about the Ulta one, the Kokie and the No7..I love No7 foundations..so I think I'll try that one first, and then the Flower one :) Thank you soooo much for this video!
My favorite concealer is Maybelline Fit Me! I have very creasy under eyes and I find that it settles just a little bit in my under eye creases, but it's beautiful.

I actually like that Physicians Formula concealer I just got it for Christmas again after not having it for quite some time (I haven't used it yet cause I have other concealers I'm using) I'll have to see if it creases under my eyes because nothing used to crease under my eyes and now that I'm gotten a few years older I find that some concealers do crease under my eyes now
Physician's formula's concealers work well on my oily skin ! Yes,a lot comes out w/ a pump ,but what I like a lot about it is ,I even can sleep w/ it ! ( I don't mean to !) It happened twice,as I was too tired to remove my make up & wash my face & never broke out ! I was so amazed ! I put all over my face & used their face powder & mineral fusion's powder foundation on .Pur's powder foundation never broke me out ,either ! But now they changed the ingredients ,I'm not sure about it anymore as I switched it to mineral fusion for more coverage! Another product never broke me out ,even gave me super smooth skin for leaving it on & slept w/ it on me was Tart's cream? Foundation in a tube ! If there's clay & salicylic acid in it ,they don't give me pimples & acne ! Almost like giving me an over night facial ! Lol.My sister swears by wet'nwild concealer !

I love the catrice concealer. I found the trick to it not creasing was waiting for it to settle into the lines and then go over it again with a sponge before powdering it down.
I just bought the no 7. I tried the flower beauty one like 5 years ago. I can't remember why I stopped using her brand. I love it!

From what I've heard from other reviewers, the Instaready concealer is very similar in consistency and coverage to the Kat Von D Tattoo concealer, so I can understand it being so cakey! Maybe better for stage makeup? Awesome review as always! I love any reason to buy No.7 products, so I might give that one a try!

Same! I stopped coloring my hair this beautiful deep burgundy/violet last year because the maintenance for reds is twice as much as any other shade. But I loved it. I miss it too when I see Zabrenas hair. She’s got some SERIOUS locks 😘

Interesting! I love the Physician's Formula one you mention. It's one of my go-to concealers. Now I'm really interested in trying the one by Flower. I've never used anything of theirs. :)

I don't often use the Physicians Formula Insta Ready concealer under my eye (and if I do, I'll bake it since it has a very hydrating feel to it), but on blemishes, it's WONDERFUL! I have horrible acne and this covers it no problem and lasts all day when I set it with powder. My only issue is the shades. The lightest shade is too pink and the next shade up is too dark, so I have to mix them to get a decent shade, which usually leads to having way too much concealer.

The Catrice concealer works for me best for spot concealing, with a small brush and dabbing on any blemishes.
Catrice camouflage is actually one of my favorite drugstore brands, but as you said some work fir us, and some don’t! I just really like the coverage and it seems to stay put during the day. I have also fallen in love with the revolution conceal and define full coverage concealer. Very similar to the shape tape, but not as thick as the shape tape.

I was literally thinking of going to Sephora to find a good concealer that is long wearing, good color match, medium to full coverage, and crease resistant lol! I was using the Maybelline fit me but recently tried the hard candy glamaflouge. For $5 I think it's great coverage. The pencil concealer is good as a brightening waterline eyeliner of sorts too. It creases a bit in fine lines but I think it's because I don't have a good under eye powder. Any recommendations for a non dry under eye powder from the drugstore?

Omg I love using the Catrice concealer with the Essence All About Matt! powder. I usually semi - bake my under eyes as well, and I find the undereye area looks and feels super smooth the entire day. Ughhh, I’m so sad the Catrice concealer didn’t work out for you. 😩 I’m gonna have to give the No 7 and Flower Beauty concealers a try. Thank you for always being so informative 😊
Aw, I just hated No7 illuminating because the container was sooo empty that I could have bought a very nice high end for the same price per oz. It wouldn’t have lasted long at that rate and I would have had to repurchase right away. But one of my faves (please please don’t discontinue this) is NYX waterproof, it’s reliable!! And I haven’t come close to using up a tube!! I have very dark under eye and I LOVE your reviews!!

Southerncharmed 411 I love to oil up my under eyes first. Lol. I love the PF skin boosting oil elixir. Oil seems to help my under eyes pretty well. I sometime put a dab of oil on tip of my blender before i smooth out my concealer. It's a process tho.

I have pretty dry under eyes that crease easily, so i only set them a tiny bit with powder, but only directly under my eye, where the tiny bit of creasing occurs, and the Kokie concealer is the best drugstore concealer I have tried yet! Even better than the Maybelline FitMe and Instant Age Rewind in my opinion...

The Catrice Concealer looks flawless on me even after 11 hours of wear time. But I have only combo und not oily skin. The skin under my eyes is normal.

I feel the best drug store concealers come from Maybeline. My absolute favorite and first go to is Their age rewind it doesn't crease and doesn't move all day and still looks pretty fresh at the end of a pretty long day. My 2nd favorite is the Maybeline Fit Me concealer it's light weight gives great coverage doesn't crease and this also wears all day. I've tried so many in different price ranges and I always regret it and come back to these. Thanks for the video 👍
Jill Sivertson Totally agree with you! Maybelline makes the best concealers! I have tried to force myself to like Tarte Shape Tape 3 times! I purchased it when it first launched when it came back in stock. I ordered 2, before ever even trying it, just because it was so in demand and I didn't know when it would come back in stock. I thought I loved it at first and used quite a bit, then gave the rest of that tube to my friend, later on gave her the brand new 2nd tube, then I thought I missed it (lol) and went out and repurchased it and now that tube is just collecting dust while I fly through my Fit Me, Dream Lumi, Age Rewind, and Master Conceal lol . It's not a bad concealer, but I don't get the hype at all. It's pretty drying and matte and doesn't flatter my undereyes. It says it has all these 'good for your skin ingredients' in it, but they are at the very bottom of the ingredients list and I certainly don't notice any moisturization from it. Just another overhyped RUclips product, IMO. I'm predicting that the 'Big Influencers' are going to do the same thing with this new Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer. $30 for 0.12 ounces of product??!? No Ma'am. I got my Fit Me and all is right with the world! 😆
+Jaradiahihscott. I'm positive I spelled that wrong I agree about the tarte concelear its over hyped. I've tried quite a few. A matte concealer is drying a 20 yr old may get away with it but as you get older and even in your 20's you want as much hydration under your eyes as you can get A light weight liquid concelear is best it's brightening and they don't look dry and crusty or fall into your fine lines making you look older and decreped. And also people get caught up in hype with high end makeup that's expensive but that doesn't mean it's good. I loooove those Maybeline concealers they look so good and last all day.
I m using the catrice one for 2 years. I love how it look under my eyes. So if you can t afford expensier concealer I would say it is worth trying. Btw in Europe it costs around 4 $ a bit less in my country

I bought the gotcha covered concealer by NYX after your recommendations! it's really good and high coverage but I find it creases a lot on me because it has such a moisturising consistency... I really like it though because it covers and brightens but I have to set it with a lot of powder to make it last. Love you Zabrena you're gorgeous
Have you tried the Garnier Clearly Brighter Anti-dark Circle Eye Roller? It’s amazing!!! It isn’t full coverage. It doesn’t crease, look cakey, or dry out my under eye area.

I'm going to try my PF one again. I do have to blend it w a dab of oil tho. Yes, the pump is awful!! You do pump out way too much!! But i want to just try it again for how it wears. I do want to use most of it up before i throw it out.
It's not drugstore, but I've always used the Judith August "The Everything Pencil" in Ultra Light. It's ALL I use on my undereye trenches because it's the ONLY thing that's ever covered them AND stayed put! The pencil lasts me well over a year and as soon as i run out, I buy another. They recently reformulated it though and my ultralight shade isn't as pale 😩 *sigh*

I had disasterour results with the Wet N Wild HD, NYX HD , any Rimmel or Covergirl. I loved the Maybelliene Dreami Lumi, but for me it was more brightening than concealing..but I still love(d) it. I had been curious about the Ulta one, the Kokie and the No7..I love No7 foundations..so I think I'll try that one first, and then the Flower one :) Thank you soooo much for this video!
The only drugstore concealer pale enough for me is the Nyx HD in alabaster. Thankfully, I love the formula too & that it's cruelty free.
Kristy Kelly yes, it's lighter & more neutral than porcelain. Sometimes, I find it at CVS, but I mostly buy it on Ulta online.
My favorite concealer is Maybelline Fit Me! I have very creasy under eyes and I find that it settles just a little bit in my under eye creases, but it's beautiful.

I actually like that Physicians Formula concealer I just got it for Christmas again after not having it for quite some time (I haven't used it yet cause I have other concealers I'm using) I'll have to see if it creases under my eyes because nothing used to crease under my eyes and now that I'm gotten a few years older I find that some concealers do crease under my eyes now

Physician's formula's concealers work well on my oily skin ! Yes,a lot comes out w/ a pump ,but what I like a lot about it is ,I even can sleep w/ it ! ( I don't mean to !) It happened twice,as I was too tired to remove my make up & wash my face & never broke out ! I was so amazed ! I put all over my face & used their face powder & mineral fusion's powder foundation on .Pur's powder foundation never broke me out ,either ! But now they changed the ingredients ,I'm not sure about it anymore as I switched it to mineral fusion for more coverage! Another product never broke me out ,even gave me super smooth skin for leaving it on & slept w/ it on me was Tart's cream? Foundation in a tube ! If there's clay & salicylic acid in it ,they don't give me pimples & acne ! Almost like giving me an over night facial ! Lol.My sister swears by wet'nwild concealer !
