True Story: I worked as a doorman at a Toronto night club. On a shift circa 2012, a couple came out periodically to have a smoke throughout the night. They were flirting and close. Eventually they left together and I said goodnight to them.
Next week I get a call from the manager to the office. They’re reviewing the camera footage at the door and they asked me if I noticed anything suspicious about the couple. The girl claims she was drugged and sexually assaulted.
I had to meet with an officer who was investigating the situation and give him my account of what happened. To me, they appeared to be a couple. At no point did it come across to me that she was uneasy around him (working at clubs you notice signs of this).
A couple weeks later, I asked my manager what ever happened with the case. She said the investigator believes the “victim” was cheating on her boyfriend with the guy at the club and claimed she was assaulted to excuse herself.

When I worked as a property manager at a boutique high-end condo in Toronto, there was a girl in her 20's working as a media manager and a major pothead who recently purchased a unit in the building.
She seemed friendly at first but issues started arising when her pot smoking habits clashed with our no smoking policy and neighbors quickly caught on where the smell was coming from.
To make it long story short before she moved out after a year, she accused two of the male staff of harassing or predatory behavior prompting senior management to investigate, thank god for camera's because I can only imagine the guys would have been let go.
She essentially made up the scenarios in her head and had panic attacks when discussing the events...for context one of the men was a cleaner who she thought was spying on her because when she left her condo he would be on her floor vacuuming the other was security taking her to the loading dock for a delivery and because she felt claustrophobic and the guard gave off "rapey vibes"....oh and the cleaner she accused had recently been dealing with the death of his mother and was putting himself through college.
So yeah, women can ruin a man's livelihood simply if she's having a bad day or FEEL you're a creep.

I've spoken to several solicitors(attorneys) in the UK about this and they give the same picture.
Lots of grape accusations, maybe about 90% of them false.
Getting caught cheating then covering up by calling scrape is a common scenario.
Another is underage intercourse. So boyfriend & girlfriend are happy sleeping with each other for months, even though both below legal age of consent. Then some friend blabs to the girl's mum whats going on. The Mum then says "My little pure princess daughter would NEVER do anything like that willingly! She must have been graped" and promptly marches the girl to the Police station. A reluctant complainant put into an awkward position can finish the teenage boy's life chances. It happens.

I have no issue bringing a buddy to a doctor's appointment where listening is crucial, and information is often times too much for one person to absorb. I have zero desire to date younger than 40, not interested in single moms with kids in elementary school, going out to the bars, or drinking all weekend with the 20-somethings. Most of these women are just not worth the time if you can even get them to respond to you. They are drowning in attention. The 50+ are busy with their fellow divorced girlfriends dirinking wine, living off alimony and wondering, "Why don't these men want to date me?" Wouldn't mind a woman, but it's just easier to max out investments, retirement, and plan for the future with my two dogs.

Further, I would add that I investigated a couple of calls for service in which a teen girl asserted she was graped. TLDR: she was out carrousing and didn't want to get into trouble with her parents and, rather than face the music, she fabricated this story and only confessed to the lie after her narrative started to fall apart. Females do this from an early age, and the behavior goes largely unchecked because of a lack of accountability or consequences.

I've actually served a lawsuit on the Attorney General's Office particularly to a specific Special Agent that investigated and charged a guy in a grape case. Normally the AG doesn't investigate these cases but the Accuser worked for the District Attorney's Office and therefore they needed an outside agency to investigate.
Well to make a really long story short... despite the lack of evidence they charged him anyway. It went to Jury trial. However it only took the Jury 45 MINUTES to come back with a not guilty verdict. But anyway the guy sued the AG's Office because he shouldn't have gone through that to begin with. The holes in the story came out even during the initial investigation.
I don't know what the outcome was but I hope this guy got some type of payment at least although it won't repair reputation.

That's where you hear - "we want to hear your side of the story."
And that's where most people, even innocent, get in trouble.
If they do have grounds, they wouldn't be interested in your story, no matter what the story.
So, the best way to win is not to play. If you are getting arrested, then you are getting arrested. The first person who hears your story is your lawyer.

In Canada, women can get you into court on their word alone. As long as they don't contradict themselves too much in their accusation, their word is all that's required to get you arrested on SA or grape charges. Even with that said, I think the amount of charges that get dropped are about 50%. Let that sink in, even if 80% of accusations have no merit, about 1/3rd of those bogus charges now go to trial and may end up in conviction.

Sometimes I wonder how it is that every society on every continent created a patriarchal structure that kept strict rules for women, in terms of who they could date and marry, if they could go out on their own without being accompanied by a man, etc. Even going back to ancient times when there was little contact between people on different continents, they still all developed the same patriarchal structure. It's as if over thousands of years, they all came to realize these things about female nature, and therefore came to understand that for a society to stay stable and to continue, that nature needed to be kept strictly in check, so they developed a structure that would do so. Today only the Middle East continues this, and others look at them as "backward" for it, but they must look at us and see that our society is unraveling for these same exact reasons that the old structure was developed to avoid.

In Sweden you got to have written consent, otherwise it is rape - for the man only of course. In Germany employers fly to sack an alleged grapist and will never hire them back if he is cleared of the charge. He just miracously stays a grapist.

This has been going on forever.
I was contacted by an old friend in the early 1990s who asked me about another female friend who was claiming to have been sexually assaulted. The woman I was talking to was saying how our mutual friends rape story just wasn't adding up and then asked me if she would lie. I told her she would not lie to save your feelings but she would lie to save her own reputation. She was a married woman and caught red-handed with another man in a car. That man was charged with rape but later those charges were dropped.
Oddly enough after her divorce she dated and then eventually got remarried to "the rapist."

Back in college days hanging out with mostly international students, there was this blond snow bunny from sweden who had always talked about her graping fantasies to her female friend who i knew before you know it she was falsely accusing an African American guy i knew who was a great dude. The swedish and Norwegian girls were so similar to west coast leftist american girls you almost could not tell the difference, the Spanish, French and Dutch was different and easier to find common ground with. The best women to make good friends and gfs was from east & Central Asia, Africa & South America
The Middle Eastern / South American/Japanese guys was also very good to become friends and hang out with at parties

Rich I was told almost the same thing by a police detective of over 20 years experience here in Australia. We wree chatting, upon first meeting (I was helping my brother do some work at her house) and it was New Years Eve. I asked if she was working that night and she replied no, but she was working New Years Day. I asked if that would be busy and she replied that the busiest task for her on News Years Day would be taking statements from women who had cheated on their partners and would make a false grape accusation as a result of their cheating on their partner the previous night. This was unprompted from a lady who was essentially a stranger to me, but a detective with a long career history and she was a fairly attractive lady, so carrying no baggage of feeling excluded from mae attention etc. It was quite an eye opener.

I had a false claim on me when I was 17 (this was almost 15 years ago so well before the Metoo movement). It was just he said she said so it didn't go anywhere and I'm not sure if the girl really knew what the implications were, but either way the damage could've been catastrophic. Bottom line, we had a pregnancy scare and she was already with some other dude and didn't wanna look bad so she made up a story that I took advantage of her while she was drunk. Never saw her drunk a day in my life nor did I ever see her do any substances. She ended up joining the army later so I can only imagine how much she got passed around and how many men she accused. Lesson learned.

I used to go on float trips in Missouri with my college buddies before the pandemic. My best friend had a gf, and she had a younger sister that was a freshman in college. They asked if I would pick her up from her college on my way down since she didn’t have a car. They warned me she was off limits, so I didn’t really try to flirt with her even though she was cute. We nonetheless had a pleasant drive down to the camp, as we talked the whole time. I assumed she had a bf, and that was why she was off limits, but she never mentioned him. Keep in mind that I was in the best shape of my life. I was jacked, could squat 415, bench 255, and overhead press 155. I had a pretty good body, so it explains her behavior later.
About 3/4th of the way through the float trip, she asks me to swim with her. The water was cold from a thunder storm the night before, so I hadn’t swam yet. Basically we all had just floated and drank on our rafts for the last several hours, and I was bored of it. I agreed to get in, and then she challenged me to a race. I agreed thinking I could keep up with her, but she turned out to be a competitive swimmer in high school. She swam about 200 yards in front of the flotilla, and I caught up to her a little while later, out of breath. I rested on a life vest I brought with me under my arm pits, and she rested on hers the same way. We both were just floating and catching our breath.
It didn’t take long before she started rubbing her leg against mine, and she got between the flotilla and I. She was all giggly and had that look on her face, so I started making out with her. Before I knew it, one side of her top had slipped off, and she was letting me play with her. I tried to play with her down stairs some, but she stopped me because she thought her sister would see. I said that was okay, and we could wait until later. The flotilla caught up with us, but everyone was preoccupied with themselves to notice us making out in the water.
We both climbed back in and floated a little further down the river before she decided to jump in up stream of the flotilla this time. She didn’t have a life jacket, so I jumped in with two thinking that she wanted to do more stuff with me. I was really drunk, so I didn’t think about how bad of a decision this could be. I caught up with her underneath a weeping willow tree, and that’s when we started trying to get it on. She started asking me things like: “Did you want to fuck me on the drive down here?” and “Do you think I’m cute?”. I was able to get it up and do the deed for a short time before the cold started making me shrink. She started saying things like “You don’t want to fuck me?” in a taunting manner. I just started using my hand instead, and she was moaning loudly. Another flotilla went by, and I told her to keep it down, but she said “I don’t care.” Then, almost as if flipping a switch, she said “Oh shit, I have a boyfriend.”
I was in shock at this point because she had not mentioned him up to this point. I said that we could swim back to the flotilla, but she didn’t follow me when I started back. I said “You really want to do this with me huh?” to which she said yes. I decided we should find some solid ground, but the river banks were too steep.
That’s when a couple in a kayak showed up and offered to take us back to the flotilla. My friends were trying to paddle up stream, and they had capsized a canoe trying to get to us. The couple knew what we were doing, so they were pissed. We got back to the flotilla, and my friends had been told that we were “fornicating” by the first group that passed us. There was no ambiguity as to what we were doing at that point. Probably 15 min later we arrived at the river’s pickup point, and that’s when my girl started crying hysterically. At that point everyone started thinking that I had forced myself on her, and she was saying that she didn’t want it to happen. My group spent the next hour or so interrogating the both of us to figure out what happened. Luckily, she toned down her claim of me forcing myself on her to saying that she was surprised by how far I went with it or some BS to the same effect. She apologized to me, and we all went our separate way that day.
She’s still with her bf, and he even shook my hand at a house party a year later in front of her. It was one of the most awkward moments of my life, because I didn’t know what he was going to do. I can only imagine what kind of a BS story she told him. He definitely doesn’t like me being around, as he asked my best friend to kick me out of a get-together we were both at. I’d like to tell him my side and that he needs to find a new girl, but that would only create more drama between my best friend, his gf, and I.

    Rich
Women do this a lot too solders who are deployed that were cheated and got pregnant while their husbands were deployed to cover up their cheating.
If she’s six months pregnant and he’s been deployed for a year the math is super easy.
Law enforcement officials that I know have taken 100’s of these reports from just the 29 Palms Marine Corps Base in 29 Palms, California USA 🇺🇸.
It’s a complete waste of time money and resources, but now with DNA evidence a guy that was in a completely consensual affair with a woman that in most cases had no idea that they were married or even involved with someone else get charged with rape years later because of DNA evidence that can be obtained by all sorts of methods and means these days through the child to them.
Cheaters will cheat and women come up with all of the excuses why they were forced to cheat on their man, lies all lies to protect themselves to never look bad with their friends or in my case especially their family / really their parents.
    Thanks again Rich
We fall in love with women because we’re real men and we are attracted to attractive women, but they will just burn us down to save them selves and their reputations every single time.
    Thanks again

In Singapore this guy went to jail for like 14 years on a grape charge on a girl who was an intern at his firm. The thing is, everyone knows they got a thing going on. But the reason why he's being accused of grape was cos she was having sex at his house one night and her boyfriend found out and went to his house to confront them, so she cried that she's a victim. Apparently even after that, the boyfriend still forgave her. Needless to say the beta Court system convicted that guy just because she turned an affair into a grape charge, his career and life is ruined and she's still sleeping well every night without any remorse

19 years ago when my friend had his first grape investigation as a cop It was a 18 year old mormon girl who accused her boyfriend of graping her. She cried, she described it all in detail aaaaand she lied. Her family was suspicious, grilled her about sex and guilted her into admitting it. Instead of telling the truth that it was consensual she was willing to ruin his life. She admitted the truth later and was never charges.
My friend has since seen on TWO separate occasions not associated with each other: two women accuse their uber drivers of grape because they offered to blow them in return for a free ride. When they refused both women claimed grape. They were never charged despite lying on camera.
Seen Multiple investigations of obvious false accusation of grape where the man was brought into the station IN CUFFS to be interviewed. No charges filed.
My friend also saw the nasty real side of grape like young ladies being roofied.
Conclusion is that most cases if grape are false. The real ones are infuriating and heart breaking. But all are treated as truth initially which is scary

G'day from Australia. I'm 52. I've personally known 3 men who were falsly accused of grape. All during a contested divorce as a means of leverage. Charges dropped as soon as the women got the property settlement they wanted. I don't think false police accusations would be 80%. Maybe false accusations or claims to husbands or family members might be 80%. It's a fairly hugh step to go to the police. I've never been in the police force but i know from surveys and research. Over 10% of all s@xual harassment claims are malicious and deliberately false. 10% of all mothers have no idea who the father of their children are. 15% of children are not the biological child of the supposed father. So cheating is fairly common and claimed grape is an easy out. I'd definitely recommend you get affirmative consent. For example texts discussing her staying over for the 1st time. No one night stands. Don't touch a woman in a relationship. Never touch a woman who has any alcohol in her system. Never sluut shame a woman. It could end badly for you or the other man. If you think a woman or her friends are a bit nutty. Just avoid any type of contact. And never let an ex in your house.

That didn't fit the picture at all, and even worse, his wife, during the process accused him of incest with his daughter, all our wifes, the small group of families was in total shock, and i never heard their name mentioned again, ever, if i remember correctly he got 4 years in prison and moved north later, what i always have wondered is, was the accusation correct? In Western societies the number of real actual grape instances is low (although this is reversing in Europe thanks to diversity). As stated from those in law enforcement most accusations are the result of the woman caught cheating or if not cheating she simply changes her mind afterwards, regrets it or 'feels' she was graped.

Kind of makes sex transactional again. "Sex after marriage" made sex transactional. Then we had this period for the past few decades where there were no legal or financial protections around sex, which men thought was advantageous to them but ended up being a huge liability. If you aren't married, record them, have their friend witness, signing a document before you start a relationship.
Marriage is still transactional, but the cost of living is up and men aren't earning more as a whole, so most of them are no longer qualifying to "only" be providers. They are expected to do a lot more than that. When a man is a great provider, women intuitively take more feminine roles in the relationship. When men aren't great providers, women use fear and lack of security to become more masculine: it's a survival mechanism.

I found that the Scandinavian culture has a very unique way of looking at life. Vastly different than how I see things. I have always been very direct tell it like it is so to speak. Scandinavians, on the other hand, find that offensive. They are passive/aggressive in nature. They take a very round about way with everything that tends to preserve their face value and to not offend. I'm sure that clandestine behavior doesn't change, as we see with your video story today. Kind of a shame. They are beautiful people with their blonde hair blue eyes.
