For really good burst take balance of all things 2/2. With 3 dots up: warrior of elune+starfirex2->starsurgex2->orbital strike->starsurge->starfire I’m getting 90-110k starsurge and 90-110k starfire with no defensives up in arena. You get balance of all things and 4 set proc from first two instant starfire. then get 2 stacks of 2 piece from the next 2 starsurges while using your 4 piece starsurge, use orbital to refresh balance of all things and use the crit bonus for big orbital+ fat 4 set starsurge buffed with rattlex2 for 20%more damage from the prior starsurges. You get a starsurge with over 70% damage and starfire with 60% dmg modifiers with max crit from balance of all things.

why we need haste? instead of critical? does haste increase tick rate of dots? if not reduce gcd by like 0.3 s not make difference for dots target critical does increase dmg of dots so, and we no need to cast, only wrath

Yeah ive been running it in RBGs, but its tough to get value out of it in shuffle. Depends on your comp and enemy comp. Hits crazy hard. Had a 450k crit on a tank in twin peaks today since he had like 8 stacks. In normal shuffle i've only seen 150k crit with it so far.
Hell yea brother! Just wait until you get that 4 set. You'll be dominating all the way to 3200 and get rank 1. Once you get that 4 set, you should still try the balance of all things crit burst build :) I know there is counter play with dispels, but if you're pumping out pressure, its tough for healers to get it every time, not to mention its a pressure in and of itself to know that the boomy can surge people into the ground once they go into eclipse. Its absolutely cracked burst damage. Glad to see you doing well after the buffs. Boomy feels revitalized and viable.
how does balance of all things work with astral crit? if u get + nature crit chance is that a 1:1 crit chance for astral as well? no idea how that works

It's why you would pool astral power before entering eclipse and dump at the very beginning of the eclipse. That was the strat since the leggo power was introduced, stated by mythic raiders, only 1 i recall being Naguura.

Literally the day the patch came out I was fuming because I hated the new tree. Opened the vault on resto and grabbed a tier piece for it and decided to go resto. Now it seems balance is okay now. At least all of my pvp gear other than that tier piece is all balance focused so switching back won't hurt too much.
@@SilentMeDude Nerfs or changes doesnt always mean a class is dead but in the recent years as soon as a class get a slight nerf and everyone who picked it because it was good/god tier stops playing it haha. Its just Fotm mentality even if balance wasnt that good overall at the start but just looking at clips from Supa i saw it was pretty normalized with the last changes and it gained some dmg on Surge so it looked okay.
Also question Supa? Are you gonna get the teir sets bc Idk if I am. I'm full mastery dot build and the teir sets are all critical stats..makes no sense

I'm just finding all our damage seems to be hidden behind Starfire. I've crit 120k Starfires but I'm not exaggerating my Starsurges that game peaked at 26.5k. Highest Surge has been 69k and I'm 422 ilvl and that was only once from 6 rounds. Starfire seems way more consistent.

Im torn beteende so man classes, have 6 diffrent classes at 70, almost all with blue crimson, except druid, so hard to find a class that checks all the boxes..
i tried a build i just figured would be good with starfall on right side and my 4 tier set bonus. its craaaaaazy damage in rbg i was 35-40 million while closest was 22 mil :o

just lookin at the numbers on the puppet new moon is much more dmg. feels like i can actively press something to burst :D and since u can have 2 fullmoons in a row thats quiet some nice dmg. also you said that the dmg splits on multiple targets when u use full moon... it does not D: its full dmg to everyone hit. the more grouped they are the more dmg, no cap. doesnt say there is a cap anyway and i tried it too, same dmg to 1 target vs 5 targets.

I would say i'm above average player. I hit 2398 in 2s without really trying. But i'm trying to hit 2400 in solo shuffle. I believe I can do it. I just get demoralized when I get paired up with 2 multi glad players who just literally outplay me in every way. I should be thankful so I can learn with playing with players with much higher exp than me. But I also feel like a complete scrub next to them lol. So I just do the typical *cross my arms and pout* HM! Then take a break lmao.
You want a good amount of haste, but can also add a bit of mastery with gems and enchants for more damage. I run the 70 mastery 33 haste gems personally, with both rings enchanted with 82 mast. In moonkin form, i'm at 20% haste, 23% mast. Doesn't feel good to drop 10% mastery for just 4% more haste imo, because mastery is just flat dmg increase for boomies. Play around with your enchants and gems and see what you like best.
I'm glad we can still use almost all talents. But you are losing dmg by not doing incar and starfall without orbital..Faire dragon buffs a lot and can stack per dragon. New talents makes it so we are always max dmg..You're missing out

i don't like that boomie is moving towards a dot playstyle, we already have affli and feral for this. The most fun boomie was full moon (legion) and convoke (shadowlands). As I see the moonkin fantasy is sort of an calm owl, but don't poke it cause you might enrage it, then suddenly wipe you in 1 second cause you stepped on his nerves. I can't believe i'm saying this, but i miss the one shots from shadolands.

Unfortunately this type of playing does not suit me at all... I didn't want the balance WOD experience, but this dumping starsurges wet noodles is not really for me, it is the less fun I ever had with balance.

i have several playstyles for boomkin , but after trying supateases builds, i agree they are the best. lol never woulda guessed how good mushrooms and heart of the wild are but they are both aamazing , i used to play 3 dot rot build and got max dps, but his builds can do similar dmg with way better survivability. ie, they are better for 1v1ing , which can be important at objectives or duels or even solo que :D my builds were more for backline dotting like a affliction warlock

You should take the 24% crit talent. Even if you're already in lunar eclipse, using incarn puts you in solar eclipse triggering it for your burst
Not really when crit has a reduced effect in pvp
