Very good advice again. I'll have to start applying these tips. Although, tbh, my main problem with solo shuffle is the terrible queing anxiety. I'm so afraid people say nasty things to me and make me feel shitty for the rest of the day, I seldom manage to actually que. And I know voice would help coordination, but I'd rather go to dentist daily than talk voice with potentially toxic strangers.
that kind of goes without saying. But I make about 25-35k/hr with just mining while I wait. I pay for my sub like this, so I can't complain. I also get to engage with other parts of the game, like the different rep factions and digging soil etc. Gotta say it's been fun discovering these things alone and without being forced into it. It's totally optional.
@piposanchez I think they are trying to, it's just the fact that there are not enough healers wanting to play it. I mean they either get trained with no peels or the dps gets trained and Los or doesn't use defensives. I think they are trying to make it more lucrative for healers to que even if they have conquest cap.
I feel like a lot of R1 players are talking shit about soloQ because their egos got bruised over the fact that they weren't R1 there instantly as well. So a lot of the more fragile ego R1 players have an agenda to make it seem like soloQ is just free rating and zero skill. In reality, it requires a completely different skill set. There is a lot of overlap of course, but different aspects of the game are emphasized. In rated team 3v3, it's more about setting up goes and kill windows. Only a few comps rely on dampening to win, and they are rarely meta. In low rated soloQ, it is mostly down to who can carry their team hardest and be the most aggressive player in the lobby, able to close out games quick. In high rated SoloQ, it is most valuable to know how to survive into dampening, how to peel your team to decrease the odds of a sudden loss. It is more important to play consistent games with no defensive mistakes, doing optimal damage, and winning through eventually unhealable damage. It is a bit like in League of Legends. Team 5v5 in league is a completely different game. Pro games and high rated clash tournaments often revolve around team macro plays. What team goes where and when. In SoloQ League, low elo matches are mostly determined by individual carry players who just stomp their mirror opponent on the enemy team. Just got to play aggressive and exploit the low skill of the enemy. High elo soloQ is more about playing consistent, and having good macro plays as an individual. It's just like WoW's new soloQ. It requires highly different skills to do really well. The meta is very different. But in League, nobody is claiming soloQ is irrelevant or an easier mode. I personally even feel like WoW arena should change to prioritize soloQ over rated 3v3. Like the mount reward should come from soloQ. Game balance should be prioritized around solo shuffle. That's because WoW PvP has been dying for years just because it is so hard to get into and play. LFG is a mess. Nobody wants to play with new players. No new players know each other. But solo shuffle has been changing that. There is a reason why the 3v3 and 2v2 ladder have been so deflated, while the solo shuffle ladder is huge. It is a better and more accessible gamemode. It has already made the WoW PvP scene revitalize.
That Intro was so cheesy, but I can't deny I was "Immersed" lol! Narrator guy is a better Voice Actor than I realized. I geek out over people like Matt Mercer and Taliesen Jaffe (sp?) though so I'm pretty much the target audience for a bit like that lol... Now to watch the actual video!...

@@dallash1747 You need a pvp ilvl of 408 to queue. Once in queue, you have like 1500 matchmaking rating (MMR) on a fresh character. Depending on how you do in games, your MMR and current rating (CR) will adapt. CR is what matters for rewards. MMR is sort of your invisible rating, that the game thinks you should go 50% winrate at, and thus belong in that rating. But MMR fluctuates faster than your actual rating.
