- What would life look like if you dropped everything and started your own farm? In episode two of Fed Up, a series celebrating the curious folks hungering for something better, we meet Paige & Derrick Jackson. These two are the founders of Grass Grazed Farms and sustainable farmers who are rethinking how we raise livestock from the ground up, with climate and community in mind. #ad

Cultivate OUR 1 Communities thats sooo ♾️ universal🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💚🌱
Thank you for your military service. God Bless you and yours.
"Cultivate our communities" I love, love, love that concept! Thanks for your family's bravery in taking this on and showing it's possible
I’m a retired nurse. I came home to take care of my husband. I is especially important for me to know what is in our food for him and me. I’m older and now I feel a responsibility to teach the younger folks. I’m so happy to see your RUclips!!!
As a fellow vet you guys are inspiring. Especially for the aspiring black farmers.
Yess..transparency & integrity 🌱⚖️🗝️✨♾️🙏🏿
Thank you, Paige and Derrick.
Helping the Universe 🌱💚just love this 💕
Farming with intention. Indeed Goddess 🙏🏽💚🪶⚖️🌱🗝️ ♾️
This is awesome. I prayer continued blessings for your family and business. To see black farmers I feel proud and hopeful that I can too raise my own food. My health is my wealth. Thank you
This was excellent. Cultivate our community is a powerful and a doable thing to do. Very encouraged. All of my husband's and my health issues seem to be digestive related. It must be the food we eat. I appreciate what you are doing and it is nice to "meet" you.
subscribed from watching the video with "sow the land with Jason & Lorraine" wishing you all the very best
Love your courage to make this happen for your family. Love that you shared how it can be for newbies. You all are going to do great!
Have you started or thinking to start a Garden for your own use to grow your own vegetables and perhaps store excess vegetables or fruit to use when not in season?
You having chicken and other manures to use in compost for the garden if you wished to use it in the garden via composting.
Would LOVE more info on how the process works once you've got the ball rolling with land. Our family of five is looking to do JUST this thing and grateful we stumbled on your journey. Do you have a book or a how-to process for chickens, cattle, pigs?
Y'all are really inspiring me to go for it! I've raised a small flock of chicks over the past two months and have always been a gardener. I work for a large beverage company at the moment but I want to farm my land for a living soon! You guys rock! I'm not too far away in Isle of Wight VA.
Love it
Well said
Hi guys, thank you so so much for sharing your knowledge, your passion and what you are doing through your farm. You have changed your world as well as your community. Your RUclips videos are so inspiring. Your Dexter's look beautiful and the first time I heard about Dexter's were through a book called back to the land for self-preservation by Dr Walker. Thank you for sharing and all the best!

What she is not telling you about her activism is that shortly they will try to shut down pretty much all small, family run animal husbandry operations in favor of the Impossible and Beyond Meat lab offerings.
You guys rock saw you on video with Justin Rhodes!
Thanks Cathy!
When you taste food you have grown yourself, you simply CANNOT go back
True!
Where can I start learning in person??? I’m very passionate for this type of farming
I have been interested in starting my own farm within the next 5yrs are there any links to apply for intership or volunteer services I can give help to learn different routes and routines it takes?
My family grew 25 meat birds for the first time as well last summer for the same reasons.
This video is inspirational and has probably pushed me to the next step.
