#7: Peter Vanderloos, Black Orchid | What Does It Mean to Be Unapologetically Yourself?

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to the Owner's Journal, Episode 7 with Peter Vanderloos. Today we covered a ton of ground from Peter's music career to his fitness journey and ultimately being a business owner.
Peter started playing piano at the age of 6, and ultimately became a national touring act with his pop band that was based in L.A.. We dive into the intricacies of record deals, tour promotion, streaming, and music sales - and eventually dived in to Peter's love for performance and putting on a good show.
As the owner and an instructor at Black Orchid, it's no surprise that Peter's experience as a performer has shaped the incredible guest experiences in Black Orchid's hot yoga and cycle classes. We get into the intentionality he and his team put into creating a memorable experience from the minute somebody enters their parking lot, and how to create a culture and an experience that team members and customers fall in love with.
