    We run a 754 on our farming operation as a utility chore tractor. 600 hours on it. It’s been good! The 754 does not use DEF. (above 75hp requires DEF) It only uses a DOC (diesel oxidation catalyst) and NO REGEN. Only model I know of that makes tier 4 without regen. The 754 uses a Deutz engine. I love it. Averages 1.3 gallons per hour of fuel.

    We only have 165 archers and about 50 are tillable. The biggest tractor we have is a 1650 Oliver and it's around 50hp. It's about as much as we need for all our haying and the little bit of plowing we do but I'd LOVE to have a tractor like that man....very nice machine. TYM is a solid brand

    There is one simple fact with any farm. You have to be practical! I do suggest, unless you are getting rid of it that you set up the JD with some equipment that is well suited to its ability's so that you can save hours on the bigger machine so that it will last longer.

    Congratulations! I'm pleased you've bought this tractor for your sake. I remember a video from last year when you were making the new pasture and you had to stop because of the rain. I felt for you then as not having a cab will slow you down when it probably shouldn't. I wouldn't worry about those that throw the 'Why didn't you buy XYZ nationality tractor?'' question at you. The truth of the matter is that the richer the country you are the less likely you are to be manufacturing your own products on home soil. The year before last, saw the end of the manufacturing of white goods here in Japan. No Japanese washing machine, fridge or whatever has the 'Made in Japan' label on it anymore.
    I don't know how you are feeling, but you are certainly looking better by the way! Hope you feel as good as you look and continue to quickly recover fully.

    Hi, Great tractor!
    About a year and a half ago I purchased a brand new RK37 with a cab from Rural King. The RK tractors are made by TYM. There were so many things on a Deere or a Kubota listed as options, which came standard on the RK37. So far I am very pleased with it! Of course I also saved around $15,000 as well! Mine has a Yanmar engine in it also!

    That is an awsum tractor. The three point arms look great for hooking up with the extendable arms. That has alot of great features. The extra remotes on the rear. Can you control the flow rate on the rear hydralics. Say you wanted to run a hydralic convayor or control the flow rate. I would buy one lol. The loader capacity is great for the size. I think it goint to be a great tractor. Glad to see you doing better. Its good to have several tractors and multiple loaders. It will help keep the hours down. But we all have our favorite tractor lol.. Thanks for sharing.

    We use a 12 foot snow box or an 8 foot extra large bucket , along with a 7 foot 540 pto snow blower on the three point. It just walks along and delivers. Only maintenance issue has been a bad battery terminal. Hard working machine, I'm sure you will enjoy using it as I have. Saved $5,800.00 under the other tractor brand I was looking at.

    Glad your excited about your new tractor. We are a small farmer like you except all row crops. We need a dealer with service and parts. Crops need to be planted in a short window. The dealer is just as important as price to me. Plus you can't beat the resale value of a John Deere tractor. That said I checked for my nearest TYM dealer. Over 100 miles away and a they were a hardware store? Your tractor will work good for a hay operation.

    • @StoneyRidgeFarmer
      @StoneyRidgeFarmer  3 года назад

      Why would I buy a tractor for the resale value? If it's a good machine it stays on the farm for the life of the tractor.....I compare it to folks that buy a Jeep for resale value.....if ya bought it to use...why are ya worried about re-selling it? Tractors as a whole hold their value pretty well....TYM is building larger dealer network every day my friend....time will tell as I work this machine on the farm over the years

    • @jerryulman5713
      @jerryulman5713 3 года назад

      @@StoneyRidgeFarmer Resale value is not the only reason, it's part of the buying decision. You updated from your Deere tractor because you needed more HP. Things change, keeping the same tractor for life? not that realistic. What if you had a problem with any brand tractor you owned, say replacing a hyd. pump every 200 hours, you would soon get rid of the tractor. The blue book for tractors tell the resale value. I would rather spend my hard earned money with an Company that has been around 184 years, that I know stands behind their products vs a company that has been selling tractors in the US for 10 years. I wish you luck.

    Hi. You bought a good tractor. You have 36 speed syncronized gearbox witch is awesome. Your PTO is easy to operate. You put your tractor in gear press the PTO botton down and turn it clockwise and the PTO is active.Your PTO selector lever with the 3 differente PTO speeds is for use with implements that require that particular speed to function only. Just to correct you, you can't use the 750 speed on a 540 implement at lower revs.Because the implements need to work at 540 RPM to have it's best performance. that is why you have on the clock cluster in green your 540 RPM. this means that when you have your engine needle on the green light your PTO shaft is turnning at 540RPM. I hope this helps you.

      Correct me if I'm wrong. The vast majority of tractors used by small farmers, landscapers, and homesteaders were built in Japan, South Korea, or India. Many are currently "assembled" or "finished" in the US from mostly foreign parts. Korean automobiles have basically caught up to everyone else already. Why wouldn't they be kicking butt when they learned from the Japanese and Americans how to do it well.

    We have a few Mahindra dealers but it’s mainly Deere and Kubota. TYM is a bit far for me. Kubota is about every other town so that’s the route I took

    Nice tractor. TYM is pretty popular in Australia and are good value. The importer Inlon have great people. I don’t think I’ll buy one though. The size I’m interested in, around 40 HP is a bit too tall and only has one hydraulic remote at the rear. One tractor brand that does tick my boxes is also sold by Inlon. They are a Japanese brand, Iseki.

    Nice tractor, it has some really nice features and I think that we all agree that a cab tractor with some bells and whistles is nice, I hope that it does well for you, I am partial to the green and yellow but the bottom line is having a tractor that gets the job done whatever the color thanks for sharing this, informative video!

    Looks like a Mahindra 7095 or m110 if i have the model right. Just the fenders are not on there. Also, Mahindra is cheaper. The 6075 cost me $43k the larger 7095 was in the $50k range.
    FYI, Modern Ag Viper 12ft batwing does fine on low HP. I'm on 75 and it cranks fine. Lowest is 65hp. I just wish my tractor has the rear button controls. Since i chose the 75HP, no def but regen is hell.

    I believe that John Deere over 100hp is still made in the US. However, less than 100hp are all assembled in the US, I have visited one of their assembly plants also "Tractor Time with Tim|" did a video on their assembly plant, pretty interesting. Their price is nowhere near as affordable as the TYM (maybe) I have a 1979 John Deere 950 that was bought to mow the contract for the Corp of Engineers on the lakes in Oklahoma and was run 10 to 12 hours a day for the first 10 years of its life after that it became our rake tractor for our custom bailing business where again it was worked 10 to 12 hours a day 6 and 7 days a week. So when you look at longevity maybe the John Deere is cheaper, only time will tell.

    One other advise for better stability you can widen the tyres and put water in the rear tyres for better weight on the rear.
