So lately my wash and go has been POPINNNNN and it’s because of the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. To be honest, having a moisturizing butter or cream on your hair before you apply gel aids in creating soft and actual bouncy curls. Especially for winter time, having moisturized hair is important to a successful wash and go. ✌🏽✌🏽

I went back to Shea Moisture Smoothie because nothing grew and moisturized my hair like it did. Love this video

The SM curl enhancing smoothie is the truth! I'm a wash and go girl and I use it under UFD curly magic or Kinky curly custard.

Makeda Swift if you add more water (spritz your hair) it would be less stiff. I’ve redone this method now and my hair is not stiff 🤣 your hair would be the same if you air dry, it will just be more shrunken. Hope this helps.

You have my exact hair type so I’ll definitely try this! How do you where it while you sleep to keep the curls from flattening? Do you just use a bonnet or something else? It turned out beautiful btw!
I think I used my bonnet and just fluff it with my hands in the morning. You can also pineapple it, but when I pineapple my hair that’s when it tends to get flat. Hope that helps.
Doesnt the eco gel break your hair when left for so long?
Sara ElShafie It doesn’t break my hair because my wash and goes normally last for a week and then I wash it out.
Are you twirling each strand of hair or just dragging them?
Hey, I was actually doing a combination of both, some strand I could just drag down and they would curl in their own and some needed some encouragement so I curled them.

Do you think I can just dry my roots and air dry like the bottoms of my hair. Will that cause shrinkage or will the results be the same as if I were to blow dry my whole hair

Is this the new or old formula of the Shea moisture smoothie... ? I use to love the old formula and tried the new one and didn’t like it at all...
I think this was the original formula. I haven’t tried the new formula as yet.
Samantha InGold awww ok... if you still have the container can you see if it says water Shea butter or if it says water and then glycerin? If Glycerin is the second ingredient then it’s the new formula..... I don’t know why they changed it 😒 Your hair is beautiful by the way 😊😊😊

Can you air dry instead of blow drying. Just trying to find way without using heat😂
Yes absolutely!, the blow drying is what helps to reduce the shrinkage by stretching the hair a bit. I normally air dry, but if I want less shrinkage I would use the blow dryer.
If you would like to stretch your hair without head you can band it at night.
