Awesome light... I must admit, I’m a sucker for trending recommendations from fellow filmmakers (nothing wrong with that!) ha ha. I keep hearing aputure 300d II and what not, but I really like this one. Looks nice, flat and lesser for space. I’m going for that one definitely. Thanks brother.

The aputure is also just a different light. A 2’x2’ panel is never going to be able to provide the same hard quality as a point source like the 300d. Surely you can walk the unit back to make it harder, but you may lose much more output. Different types of lights in a way. Although, these Falcon Eyes are excellent as a poor mans litemat. Pushing these through a 6x6 of Muslin, or bouncing them through a 6x6 can make some wonderfully natural keys.

Great Review !! Its great to see Peoplej reviewing other lights, as I constantly keep hearing about the Aperture 120d or 300d :) I had one question, at min 1:10 did you use one light to light up the two people ?

Does it shift Magenta? Or is that just your color settings? This looks more magenta than some of your other videos, but I'm not sure.

You do not want it to be flexible because it will decrease the life span of the light.
