I own an American Coach Patriot MD4 (largest one made) and it is fantastic. No other coach comes close in terms of the warranty and the beauty of the interior and clean looking exterior. This is really the top end of the Class B segment. I looked at every brand out there and American Coach was the winner.
17" All terrain wheels, so you can go anywhere the 4" ground clearance will allow.
I appreciate that you actually put the bed together. Many reviews only show a quick picture of the open bed but does not show HOW the bed is set up. Thank you.
I just drove this unit, and it drives like a dream. Is small, but for one or two people, is luxury on wheels.

Only thing I would want different is either a murphy bed that will go over that fold down seat, or a bed that lowers from the ceiling. Real Mattresses are so much better

Yes. The Ford Patriot with the 3.5 EcoBoost is available.
To low to go off road need a lift kit.
Its available in 4 X 4 with plenty of ground clearance.

That is such a beautiful motorcoach. The bathroom is gorgeous, for someone who is not claustrophobic though. As soon as you closed that liner I thought that you were going to close the glass door as well and I was already getting claustophobic.😄

Weekend RV. Not very practical for extended stays on so many levels. The low ground clearance would not work unless you were only staying in high end RV parks with hard parking spots. Would not work for our style of camping but may be a perfect fit for others.
The ground clearance is 9.5" which is the same as most pickup trucks. We own the longer version 170 EXT and have never had a problem. It's not built for rock crawling. LOL

The unit in the video is 2-wheel drive. Its also available in 4 X 4

Is there a measurement on the rear bed when it is made into a large two person bed? I'm 6'3" and am curious on the length.
It turns into a king sized bed. You will have room to spare!
The black water hose is so narrow, how does all the bulk manage to flow through? Don't care for the glass door.Looks out of place. Why no Lithium batteries? Is there a choice? Glad to hear that it's not a 3 way fridge! Really like the looks of the little RV. All season rated is a plus. I am sure it's a joy to drive. Thank you.
The system has a macerator which essentially grinds everything in the black water tank up before pumping it our. Excellent system and won't get clogged.
A 600 amp lithium option is available in lieu of the LP Generator.
Glass door is optional.

Thanks for asking! It is 19' 5" long. This is the shorter version of the Sprinter Chassis. Most Class B RV's are built on the longer 24' chassis.
The 144 wheel base model is 22 feet long.

Yes this has an induction cooktop. The cameras can work at night as well and can act as a security system although not with your phone.

Do you manufacture any other units? I would love to have an electric lift-style bed because I have to have a generous sized garage under the bed for things like a large dog crate and 1 or 2 bicycles. Is there a unit with either a lift bed or a murphy bed?

Thu motors and thu overall design of automatic shades is somehow not worth it.. truly. I’ve had em and they are an EXPENSIVE pain in thu *ss
Talk to some Interstate owners and they will tell you that powered shades are problematic at best. Annoying when they ALL go up or down.

9 ft 8" for the 2-wheel drive model. The Patriot is available in the 144 short body and the longer 170 EXT body as well.
Are these batteries considered to be as good as lithium batteries that so many manufacturers seem to boast about?
AGM batteries are the best batteries available, apart from Lithium. Lithium will always be better but comes at a steep price. Most manufacturers offer a Lithium battery upgrade.
I have the longer version of this coach. The MD4 170EXT. Both have the 225 amp hour AGM battery as standard and it's great. A LiFePO4 Lithium 600 amp system is an available in lieu of the generator.
Lithium batteries are very powerful but they suck in the cold temps. They won't charge unless they are reasonably warmed and way too expensive. AGM is the way to go.

Is nice van but I would never do messing around with whatever it called, black water, I would never be able to sleep or eating thinking I just did dumping and thinking while I’m going to sleep or eat my dinner. Thinking that thing sat there over night or longer than over night

Decent class B that definitely seems geared towards weekenders who want luxury with all the creature comforts. Some interesting design choices though: The rather aggressive looking A/T tires with that added front lip and side skirts seems like a contradictory design choice for clearance when going off road with those tires. The area in the front for relaxing, eating, working, etc. seems non-existent or uncomfortable. The sink in the bathroom looks pretty unnecessary and just takes up valuable space. Looks like there's no mirror or any storage for toiletries in there, so might as well use the main sink anyway for whatever you do (shaving, brushing teeth, washing hands, doing hair, etc). Many already mentioned the glass door on bathroom, although maybe with the curtain + glass it isn't "that" see-through, not sure. Overall it is kind of strange to see such a small 19' van be geared and packed so heavily for luxury. I imagine most people that can afford something like this, and want luxury whenl weekending to national parks would probably gravitate towards a 24-30' Class B or C or a nice travel trailer/5th wheel for half the price with the same amount of luxury and more space to enjoy. Certainly doesn't seem comfortable to stay in any longer than weekend trips.

Glass door on shower makes no sense.. Fridge and drawers on bottom. Dont like that. Big bed though. Not sure about that very narrow waist hose. Clogged...

Not for tall people
I don’t like the glass shower door. Glass door to the bathroom, this had no woman’s input. This is nice but out of my price range. But f I did have the money the glass door is a deal buster. The panoramic rv is still my top choice. They were coming to the USA but COVID happened and I don’t know what happened to them. They are out of Canada.

Small vans like this do not need cameras in back unless u r using it to watch your bike or see who is walking around

If someone does not know howto parallel park this small van then he/she should not have a driver license.
If I was a broader patrol person, I would make people do a parallel parking test with vans, cars , etc before they're allowed into the country .
No offense that is not a ton of storage. You guys need to up your game with van lifers custom builds are WAY better!
They need to stop putting a sink in the bathroom in class Bs. Just not necessary.
