Biggest waste of money, The quality is missing. Everything and i repeat everything will break / need replacing on the Hymer part of this vehicle within 3 years. The Mercedes part is solid. Do not be fooled. I have owned one for 3 years and i am constantly paying out to replace the parts. Door handles, plug in sink, drainage, locks, windows, AC, blinds. Absolute waste of money
Never mind the Motorhome, that was over 26 minutes of continuous, uncut presenting. I’m always amazed how you remember all the facts and not take a break. Do you ever have outtakes? Just brilliant, keep up the good work.

WHY? A fool and his money is easily parted it will be one of the worst decision you ever make. The Hymer part of the vehicle is absolutely rubbish. You will need very deep pockets to maintain the thing
Personally, I thought the video was really informative & useful - thank you! The third bed is actually at the front plus there is a second spare toilet cassette that goes on that shelf above the gas cylinders. It’s a shame some people’s comments are so rude & negative.
Very impressive! I like every aspect of this MH! Sleek, stylish, loads of room and storage space, This one ticks all the boxes!! Thanks for a great review! xx
Hello from Oslo. I would like to say that I really enjoy your way of informing and selling. You are so professional and a delight to hear and watch you demonstrate. I worked at IBM many years ago, and you could easily fit into the very professional and friendly IBM environment. Thank you again and have a nice day.
Thank you very much for watching and hello to you in Oslo. I really enjoy reviewing the motorhomes and helping people make an informed choice when they make their purchase. I appreciate your kind comments. 😊
Wow this rv van is really nice they did everything perfectly with the space they had plus the bathroom is big along with bedroom area well done Mercedes…
Great review, this is the biggest selling Model in the Hymer range , price is not an issue in this market , many van conversion hitting £200k plus !! , there seems to be many people with this budget.
We bought the Adria Compact DL in 2022, largely off the back of the great reviews you gave it (and we are super happy with it!). I like the idea of a Hymer or Carthago at some point, but think the pricing is starting to get a bit insulting to potential buyers. £160K and no oven - this van is twice the price of our van but it's really not twice as good, so I'm not convinced I'm afraid
Beautiful camper, & great design but it seems so expensive. I think I would prefer it without all the cool graphics to keep a lower profile when on the move. Your presentation skills are excellent, and the overview you give is very much appreciated, thanks.
That is really very nice indeed! The only trouble with the AWD Mercedes, is that it doesn't come with a proper low gear ratio. So, at best, this is a soft off-roader. However, having that extra clearance and AWD, means that trips to places where heavy snowfall is prevalent will ensure that the vehicle will go further than any ordinary motorhome. That alone has its advantages. Very impressed indeed. As an aside, Jules, I think the reference to a romantic dinner was possibly a subtle hint. More seriously, well done Jules for adjusting the camera settings to get that non-flicker cutaway shot of the bedroom!
Thank you very much for watching and a good comment too regards the practicalities. We are the least romantic people going 😂 I forgot our wedding anniversary this year..again. Thank you from Jules regards the camera work. Have a great week 😊
Excellent walkthrough, thanks for posting! You've managed to make me envious of Europeans' selection in RVs yet again *grrrrrr*. 😄 I think I see design elements from Hymer's concept vehicle of a few years ago (was it Vision Venture?). At 11:58 there's a round light fixture above the telly that I believe first appeared in that van. Anyway, you definitely earned a like. Happy travels!
Thanks for watching.. interesting that there have been lots of comments about price, but having just been at Düsseldorf, prices are certainly not coming down and sales seemed strong..so it will be interesting to see what happens this coming year across the industry and in the UK 🤔😊
Another great review. There is an option to have a Thetford oven above the fridge for £590 but lots of folks are now taking air fryers in their vans(or if it’s a German van Herr Fryer🤣). As well as the 8 litre bin you showed there is another bin that attaches to the inside of the habitation door. The 3rd berth is actually made up from the front dinette using the cushions which were in the garage. A lot of people are commenting about the price but bear in mind this unit had about £7000 pounds worth of lithium batteries, solar and an inverter.
Thank you for watching and adding these great bits of information. Air fryers are a great bit of kit, we have a small one for our motorhome as it is much quicker than the gas oven and easy to clean. 😊
I like the way you always have a good look around the ins n outs of these vehicles plus the extra info. As it happens, I was going to order one of these earlier this year and decided not to when they introduced the new interior design. Hymer's previous design had a significantly higher quality look and feel to it. For me (and I know design is a personal subjective thing) I couldn't get past the cabinets being a spray-dyed MDF board rather than having any finish, laminate or vinyl veneered surface. Just looked un-finished and cheap. Neither did I like the strap-catches on the doors and drawers. In addition the transition between cab and cabinet had now lost the transition panels and instead were simply lined with stretch carpet. All signs that they are reducing costs but at the same time continuing to raise prices. Even more annoyingly, the dealer told me that the right hand drive version does not allow LED headlights in this van for some reason Hymer couldn't (or wouldn't) explain, while the left hand drive version does allow it. On a vehicle that is so eye-wateringly expensive, I couldn't live with not having LED headlights. All-in-all, Hymer's insistence of changing the design look and feel rather than having the option of a more stylish interior is clearly to try and create a new market for younger buyers while, perhaps unintentionally, narrowing their market opportunity substantially into a segment that typically has less disposable income. I'm not sure who makes such strategic decisions. With such a high price tag, it's important that premium products allow the customer more choice and at the very least offer a UK market the same features (e.g. LED headlights) as their mainland Europe market. I realise that this new design is aimed at a niche within a niche audience but equally, I'm very doubtful that they will find the same affluence and affordability within that niche that can sustain such a, frankly over-priced, van. Sorry for the rant but I just had to share those extra points.
@@noelmcinerney8411 Thanks... Yeah, the van in general is a great concept, (aside from the price), don't get me wrong. I spend too much time assessing designs, especially when it comes to visceral aesthetic and behavioural and functional value. There is so much opportunity in this market being missed in this regard.
Hi guys thanks for that. It’s a sudo off roader and I would agree closest thing to off roading will be parking up on the grass at a CL site. Would you want to risk denting those unprotected panels going on a weee adventure after spending all that cash.
Thanks for watching Steve, most of these would never leave a hard standing pitch and insurance won’t cover for real off road.. but they do look good and people like that wow factor I think. I love Hymer as a brand.. lots of shiny silver 😊👍
Thank you for watching, you can personalise things to some degree but the layout is fixed and not changeable. A dealer can always discuss any preferences you might have and accommodate those 😊
Good evening Karina and Jules. This is definitely a cross country design of van , a gritty hardnosed design . on the outside and I think I love that . Its quite striking ! £5k alloys ! OMG ! Those lights you "pulled out" strange arent they ? The leather tabs of the wall units are a nice styling touch , masculine I would say . the tv situation , i rather enjoy , although Im curious as to whether that button you pushed on the grey panel could also be a cupboard ? The tap position is rather strange and unique but I quite like that it doesnt take up too much space and is easily cleaned . Love the larger drawers and that small bin . One thing I dont understand though , the 2 plug sockets high up above the tap? Theyre a bit high . I like the shower unit and yes that would be a compromise as Im similar in size and height to your husband,..
Why put all the control panels inside and at the back of a cupboard? That will restrict what you can put in the cupboard! Would have been good to see inside the 2 nearside external lockers. Great video though, thank you 🙂
I'm guessing anyone who falls for a manufacturers marketing and lifestyle blurb will soon be relieved of their 160k, and those wheels!! 5k! How did you keep a straight face. Mental prices.
This model was on my shortlist a couple of years ago. I rejected it after using the configuration tool and realising just how little payload you have. If you start maxing out the options the tool starts taking out belted seats and you are left with only 2 seats and still little payload. Not sure whether you can up-plate it further to gain extra payload for passengers, water and food.
I must admit it is very pretty and most blokes would love all the toys and the ride height, but a reality check is in order in my opinion. The majority of people who will buy this will never use it as the designers expect it to be used and also many places that it will go in Europe and beyond will have a high expectation of it being nicked. I am assuming that vat is payable on the £164,000 and for that I would rather buy an old long wheel base 4x4 high top and tidy it and put a basic camping setup in it. £35k would get me a reasonable donor and a few bits to make camping off road expectable, but then again I am in it for the adventure not the bragging rights on the camp ground. Each to their own I suppose.
Thank you for watching, there seems to be a lot of interest in this model from the US. Shame they don’t seem to be launching them there as yet. I hope they make it over to you 😊🇺🇸
Thank you for watching, I don’t have this information, you would have to contact the dealership directly, there is a link to their website in the description or here www.motorhomes.co.uk/
Thank you for watching, I am not aware that it will be but there are Uk and European dealerships that will export internationally. It might be worth having a look at that option.
164K You've to pay extra for off-road wheels and tyres, air-conditioning and a TV! The cab area should be filled with plush material and not plastic. The raitainig buggies are a complete joke as well as half a privasy curtain. Anyone purchasing one of these obviously has more money than sense! For that price you should have a red button to press and it turns into a suite at the Hilton! It's comical

@@HereWeTow Thanks for responding. Sorry for asking but whats the main difference between the 570 and the 580? Is it size and off-road capability or interior’s? Thanks again for the shared insights.
Love 💕 the camper van especially the propane stove but I don’t think 🤔 it’s available in the United States 🇺🇸 About the only thing wrong with it is they put the steering wheel on the wrong side and I don’t know if it had a generator or not!
Leisure travel have some competition this looking solid and well thought of and classy and priced is less the the Leisure Travel and many others and there price is the same in that Class and don’t look that nearly as good as this RV
Nice camper, although £170k plus in the spec shown and everything else extra cost it’s a purchase I could not justify. The shower and beds were obviously designed with very small people or infants in mind as the average male could never fit in the shower or turn over in the bed!😬
What‘s the point of all this pseudo-offroad stuff? How many people are ever going to need 4WD, offroad tyres, raised suspension in Europe ? Try driving this vehicle offroad where you’d need 4WD and you’d shake it apart. If you really need that then get a proper 4WD SUV with a tent. I drove overland from London to Nairobi in 1974 and the amount of times you really needed 4WD you could count on one hand, in fact one of the most reliable vehicles of that time for that journey was the common VW van with 2WD and that was crossing the Sahara and the central African rainforest roads too.
Speaking as a South African owner of one of these vehicles, the following. I have always and still do own together with my motorhome, what you refer to as a "proper" 4x 4 double cab with a rooftop tent. I am however now (unfortunately) an official OAP and the transition from the top of the ladder into the tent plays hell on my knees despite reasonable fitness as a cyclist. Our age as a couple has not diminished our sense or desire for adventure, albeit we now prefer it with a degree of dignified refinement and non aerial entry.. We have no expectation or illusions that the motorhome will be a substitute off-road vehicle, however, it is extremely useful for off-grid, wild camping using remote sites throughout Europe, the Balkans and North Africa. It is also useful in Scandinavia and Northern Europe during winter for both snow and wet camp sites. Using the off-road tires avoids the need for a second set of winter tyres as required in several European countries in winter. There is nothing pseudo about its capabilities under such conditions. My guess is you drove your 2WD VW to Nairobi in the dry season. I have driven multiple times in the wet season in Africa in my various 4x4's over the years and many times had to use a winch to rescue myself or other vehicles in such conditions where the roads become a quagmire. The UK these days becomes more like the Kiwi society that spends a lot of time sneering at other peoples choices. We are not all posers and have legitimate considerations for making a market choice.
@@jamesarc8192 No, we drove a 4WD Bedford truck from London to Nairobi. It took us 10 months and through the Sahara,mCAR and Zaire it mostly made no real difference, mostly we would have got through with 2WD. My mention of the VW bus was because they still got through most places. OK, the Western Corridor of Serengeti would have been impossible at the end of the rains without 4WD but equally a Hymer 4WD motorhome would still have been there until now bogged down. As an almost full-time European motorhomer now, there are not many places that 4WD is necessary unless going real offroad, for which these kind of vehicles are pretty useless. Tyre wise, most motorhomes in Europe use all-season tyres so you don‘t need summer and winter tyres. Off-grid wild camping in Europe (where even possible) has nothing to do with 4WD. Even in Morocco, 2WD is mostly adequate. Anyway, my point is not 4WD vs 2WD but that most of these vehicles are just bought for show and will very rarely be needed by most buyers. Having had a Hymer motorhome for quite a while now, these things would not survive a day or two on corrugated dirt or other real offroad scenarios without shaking apart. But hell, each to their own.
@@robertthomas2415 I have owned my 4x4 Hymer for 6 years now (and my previous 2WD Hymer for 16 yrs) and travelled over 24000km of 50K plus, over dust roads and used multiple off-grid sites in Morocco, Algeria, Western Sahara, Mali, Corsica, Albania, Bulgaria and winter Scandinavia. You clearly cannot comment on the locations we use. Apart from the usual crescendo of rattling cutlery, nothing has fallen off the vehicle with the exception of an interior light fitting which came loose. What model Hymer do you own that it apparently falls apart? My wine cellar in the overhanging garage (a usual point of criticism from this that imagine a Hymer 4x4 is being purchased to circumnavigate the Richtersveld) remains undisturbed in SA ammo boxes insulated with perfectly protective closed cell foam at optimum temperature). You state: "Anyway, my point is not 4WD vs 2WD but that most of these vehicles are just bought for show and will very rarely be needed by most buyers". And you know this how exactly? Have you interviewed any of the very numerous Scandinavian owners who revel in winter expeditions? What criteria do you utilise to assess such people? It is indeed very easy these days to drive through Africa with a 2WD vehicle provided you stick to all the usual routes, especially in the dry season. We are not such people and the many Hymer 4x4 owners I meet are of interesting and similar vein. You appear to have met some unfortunate outliers to form your prejudiced opinions.
Best walk round of this van on youtube well done !

@@HereWeTow Thank you.
Will the 2025 Hymer MLT 570 Crossover be available in America? Please!
Thank you for watching, there seems to be a lot of interest in this model from the US. Shame they don’t seem to be launching them there as yet. I hope they make it over to you 😊🇺🇸
Супер модель! 👍👍👍 Интерьер 👍👍👍.
Yes, it is very nice, thank you for watching 😊
Hymer, Come to America!
I hope they do, they are excellent motorhomes 😊
How much does it cost to ship to Thailand? Price includes vehicle and shipping costs.
Thank you for watching, I don’t have this information, you would have to contact the dealership directly, there is a link to their website in the description or here www.motorhomes.co.uk/
I stopped watching after seeing a comment it was £160k 😂
Thanks for watching as far as you did 👍
wow.. how sensational!!
Thank you for watching 😊
Will this be sold in the US?
Thank you for watching, I am not aware that it will be but there are Uk and European dealerships that will export internationally. It might be worth having a look at that option.
How much!!??😮😮😮. Seriously, how many people can afford one of these
Thank you for watching
164K
You've to pay extra for off-road wheels and tyres, air-conditioning and a TV!
The cab area should be filled with plush material and not plastic.
The raitainig buggies are a complete joke as well as half a privasy curtain.
Anyone purchasing one of these obviously has more money than sense!
For that price you should have a red button to press and it turns into a suite at the Hilton!
It's comical
Thanks for watching and leaving your thoughts on this model 😊
What's the point of having the heating control in a cupboard? Half the space can't be used! As per normal paying for the badge 😢😢

Do they still make the 580?
Thank you for watching..the 580 is still available on the ML-T, but not on the CrossOver.. I do remember something being mentioned about the 580 but I cannot remember if that was that it would be coming on the CrossOver later.. 🤔
@@HereWeTow Thanks for responding. Sorry for asking but whats the main difference between the 570 and the 580? Is it size and off-road capability or interior’s? Thanks again for the shared insights.
@JordanPattersonM Yes, it is the length, the 570 is 6.74m and 580 is 6.98m, both are 3500kg though. 😊
Pff no oven, for that amount of money you'd think you'd get a butler thrown in 😂 looked pretty cramped but it does look nice on the outside
Thanks for watching.. 😊
Ridiculous price, all that money & no Cooker.

Door not offside just wrong side when considering the price tag!🤣
Love 💕 the camper van especially the propane stove but I don’t think 🤔 it’s available in the United States 🇺🇸 About the only thing wrong with it is they put the steering wheel on the wrong side and I don’t know if it had a generator or not!
Thank you for watching.. not currently available in the US and no generator 😊
There’s a reason the chair is already swivelled . 😂
Thank you for watching 😊
Add me some water tank in that garage and we are a go
Well done, you, excellent tour, but at 160k thanks but no thanks
Thank you for watching 😊
Sorry this series of sprinter is rubbish, I should know as we have a fleet of them. The previous model was a lot more superior and reliable.
Thank you for watching and adding your thoughts on the new model.
Cheaper build one working man can't afford those prices 😮
Thank you for watching
Beautiful, but it’s so expensive that it’s the most un-cool vehicle out there 😂 I think people will laugh at you as you drive by.
Thank you for watching 😊
190PS 4cyl for 4.1ton 4x4 motorhome? 😅
Yes very true
Using it in the field for a month is a review this is just a sales pitch walk around
Thanks for watching
Any chance of this coming to the united states?
Thanks for watching..I know dealers can export motorhomes to the US, you would need to contact them to make enquiries. 😊👍
Stupid overpriced toy for the look at me gang.
Thanks for watching
Nothing comes cheap.this is not for everyone
Thank you for watching, no not for everyone, thankfully there is plenty of choice out there 😊
I don't like that bed, they should have turned it round to make a proper double bed. Looks cool though.
Thank you for watching 😊👍
Lovely but sadly over priced thank you
Thank you for watching 😊
Does anyone know if there’s a dealer in California?
Thank you for watching, unfortunately there currently is not a dealership in the USA.
Leisure travel have some competition this looking solid and well thought of and classy and priced is less the the Leisure Travel and many others and there price is the same in that Class and don’t look that nearly as good as this RV
Thanks for watching and having seen recent prices for Motorhomes, this certainly stands out for the money!
They be the next big company going bust 160k is too much..
Thanks for watching
Nice camper, although £170k plus in the spec shown and everything else extra cost it’s a purchase I could not justify.
The shower and beds were obviously designed with very small people or infants in mind as the average male could never fit in the shower or turn over in the bed!😬
Thank you for watching 😊
❤❤❤❤
Too small, short beds, really too bad because it is just a cool camper
So there's no oven, no grill, no microwave and the TV is facing the wrong way round, Forget it..
WTF, why are European motorhomes so much better than North American units.
Thanks for watching..😊
Totally overpriced for not alot of van £164k for what???
Thank you for watching
prices are crazy and unefficient!

Just 2 lt engine
Another rip off from Travelworld. The wheels £5k. Lol

For that money it needs to transform into an autobot. Piss take

Thanks for watching, I’m sure very very few of these will ever get off road, especially with UK insurance, but there is certainly a market for them!
@jamesarc8192 Thanks for sharing your experience and the needs of an overseas user of these vehicles 😊
160 grand 😂😂😂 yea ok 😂
