A lovely vlog with humour, who doesn't like a warm sausage even if it's a little floppy, a joy to watch. Jules, it's been a long time - great to see you in front of the camera again. So much change over the last two years, I really do miss your caravan and motorhome vlogs, reviews just don't float my boat but I understand they bring in the money. Couldn’t agree more on the teppanyaki grill, it’s life changing. That’s all we use for outdoor cooking now, just simple and so easy to clean at the end. Couldn’t recommend them enough, specially at there price point. Good work you two, nice to see Jules back again!

Hi both great video, accessories has to be my favourite topic, totally agree on 40 shot i've tried a lot but don't buy anything else now it's brilliant.
Also the teppanyaki brilliant, I bought one after watching your vlog on it and it's 👍 great, I watch people with expensive gas bbq and don't get why they use their own expensive gas when you're already paying for electricity in the price of your pitch.

Super Vlog as always Karina and Joules. We are still waiting delivery of our Adria Compact Supreme DL (which i know you had for a time). Do you know if the DL would fit 2 x 10kg safe fill bottles or would we be better with the 7.5kg? We had originally thought of having a refillable system fitted but the safe fill seems a cheaper / better option, especially if they are easy to fill in Europe! Any thoughts greatly welcomed.
The wait is awful…we loved the DL and met a couple last week who were enjoying theirs. Yes, it will take a 10kg Safefill, we used ours, to be fair I think you would only need one as the fridge runs off electric only, even off grid, and so you dont use much gas. You can fill Safefill in Europe with an adapter. The Safefill website has information. We have only ever had one and never had an issue. I am excited for you, we are missing our touring, maybe next year.. Karina 😊
@@HereWeTow Ah thank you so much for your helpful reply. It seems there is so much info to take in and that's before we even have the motorhome! One further question if you have time. Do you think its preferable/necessary to get the dealership to fit an external filling point on the motorhome? We were going to do that with the gas low system but it seems unnecessary with the safefill. Our plan is to travel around the UK and Europe. Thank you again. Fingers crossed you'll be touring again before too long 😊
Morning, personally I wouldn’t as it is just one more thing to go wrong.. the amount of times we have ave filled our 10kg Safefill (I think four times since April 2018) and we use plenty of gas so it is just as easy to lift it out and fill it. 😊 Karina

I had a laugh to myself at one of your last comments. I visited that very same accessory shop in July on my way back to taking our caravan back to storage after a weekend away (we'd only had the caravan 9 months having bought that from Wandahome too). I was after one of those clothes dryers to hang out of the window. Well, as I was walking past the caravans in the show room I thought I'd have a little look and to cut a long story short ended up trading in our caravan for another with a fixed bed at the back.
Yes, I also bought the clothes dryer, but now my wife has banned me from visiting Wandahome without her.

Try SOMERSET SAFEFILL or WANDAHOME at Knottingley did have some in stock when I was there a few weeks ago and I think they do post stuff out. Try those and come back to me if you get stuck.. Karina

We got a 7.5 Safefill, but some garages won't let You fill them. Morrisons have a partnership though, so it's finding places.

An excellent introduction to caravan and motorhome accessories. I personally appreciated the toilet chemical introduction. Japan doesn't really have all that many at the moment, although we did see a rise in the popularity of portable toilets following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Disaster prevention goods are a major thing here so I hope to see a rise in chemicals. The one item that is indeed very, very useful and has been popular in Japan for as long as I have been here (31 yrs) and that is the 'hot plate' as it is known here. Literally, 'ホットプレート=hotto pureto'.
Teppanyaki is a form of cooking on (yep, you guessed it) an iron hotplate at a restaurant. Usually, with steak as the main ingredient, but also with lobster. The hot-plates here are used mostly at the dinner table rather than camping and oddly enough, they still haven't moved off of the home dining table into people's motorhomes, caravans or even the majority that camp in tents. It is sort of hilarious that the Japanese use English and in Europe they use the Japanese, although strictly speaking it should really only be Teppan (iron plate=鉄板) as ’焼く' yaku' (the verb) means 'to grill' as well as 'bake' and the adjective of food cooked in this way or the method is ’焼き' (yaki). Home ones here in Japan are usually round and some are deep in order to eat soup based dishes also. Not that it matters and giving it a Japanese name probably helped to sell a product that may not have done so well if it were called an 'Electric Hotplate'. It may make a few people chuckle as they see how we humans often see the grass on the other side as being greener. This however, does not detract from the usefulness of the hotplate/teppan-yaki or electric griddle as Americans may (or may not) call it.

Good vlog as usual Karina and Jules. You have given Debbie and I a couple of things to look into when we start caravaning again next year the safe gas the towel and most importantly the egg ring as I cannot eat eggs or anything that contains egg where as Debbie eats a lot of them. We got a Teppanyaki grill shortly after you did a vlog about it. We have had readly for about 3 to 4 years and still only pay £7.99 We both hope the 2 of you have a lovely weekend and an even better Bank holiday weekend.

We’ve just brought our first Motorhome and have learned so much watching your videos. I’m trying to find food grade water pipes but I can’t find the video you did please help!
I am really pleased it has helped and congratulations on your motorhome. We use the Colapz hose, connector kit and we also have the grey waste pipes for sites that don’t have a drive over service point. This is their website and they are on Amazon I think colapz.co.uk/collections/all-products/products/7-5-metre-food-grade-hose-pipe (You may be able to get a cheaper food grade hose online but we have been using ours years and it is good quality and is lasting very well)

How good in your opinion is better, 40 Shot or Solbio?
I have never used Solbio but from my experience I would definitely use 40shot, it’s an excellent product that works and is good value. Sorry I cannot do a comparison, thanks for watching , Karina 😊

Loads of gas at my local Calor branch from July through the summer ? I bought a second used bottle on ebay for £30 so now have 2 full exchanged bottle for £60. Some accessories are "easier" to buy in the caravan accessories shop as you can physically pick them up but ALWAYS look online and get the Caravan accessory shop discount card. I bought 6 reclining Dometic chairs for HALF the price compared to a camping accessories shop. EBAY seller was an accessory shop so why pay more ? Never buy a leisure battery from a camping shop or you will pay through the nose. If you don't have an electric ring in your caravan (why would a manufacturer not fit one, how stupid ?) buy a cheap induction one of ebay or ALDI for £30 to £40.
