This can be done much easier and faster and with the same result. Fill the kettle to the edge with super hot water. Put soap inside after it's full and mix it a little bit. Then brush the surroundings of the kettle like seen in the video, but dip the sponge more often in the soapy water. Clean is clean, then take a plastic hand brush, specially meant for cleaning kettles, and brush the sides of the kettle, just below the surface of the water, then empty a little bit, and do it again, until the kettle is empty. Then take the hose and rinse it off. Then clean the tap, inside and outside, if possible, machine wash the tap, and clean the draingrid and part below it. It is possible to clean such a kettle in a maximum of 5 minutes. I used to do this work for many years. It is better to leave the lid open after cleaning for better air drying of the kettle.
