  • CERRO PUNTA
Localed along the west side of Volcán Barú.
Cerro Punta is an impossibly picturesque mountain town - intricate patchworks of farmland cling to the mountain slopes, as dairy and strawberry farms dot the valley.
Cerro Punta is quiet and colorful with breathtaking views of the mountains and rocky gurgling rivers. It is common to see the local indigenous people walking in their traditional costumes. You can hike to Baru Volcano, Panama's tallest mountain is located there, from which on a sunny day you can see both the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean.
Cerro Punta is here 90% of all the fresh produce in Panama comes from
    What we visited:
    LA AMISTAD
    207,000-hectare cloud forest park.
Perfect for hiking, birdwatching, and meeting wild, unique
    animals.UNESCO World Heritage Site
Unfortunately, the two trails had been closed for renovations.
    We took the shortest trail.
    FINCA DRACULA
One of the largest orchid collections in the Americas
    Exotic orchid species
    Dracula Orchids
    RAQUEL’S ARK
An Airbnb Hotel and Exotic Animal Rescue Center for orphaned, injured wild animals and rejected exotic pets that cannot return to the wild.

I love the serenity and beauty of this video. It's like a little piece of heaven on earth. The guitar arrangements are wistfully divine. The few times we were there as kids we only made it as far as Volcán. Still, it was far enough to make a world of difference from the hot, steamy jungles of the Canal Zone. Beautiful video, thank you for posting.

Driving along a country road with lush greenery looks like fun. The forest hiking trails are also rich in nature and the waterfalls are wonderful.
    Thank you for sharing.

Are there any specific requirements for entry into the country at the airport? For example, are you required to have a certain amount of cash on your person, show stay locations, or return airline tickets?

I was actually thinking of going in October but read about the rainy season and you confirmed this. Thanks. How is November for traveling to Panama? Is it better or better to avoid it and go some other time?

Nature is at its most luscious in the rainy season, but if you want to go in the dry season, December - April is the time period. Try to go as close to the end of the rainy season as possible while the foliage is still beautifully green.

Anna, Can I hire like a private transport to go around Cerro Punta from Boquette .. I think it would be cost saving and more time to visit those lovely places . Nice video !😊

Thank you so much for watching my video and for your question! Yes, you can definitely hire a private transport to explore Cerro Punta from Boquete. It's a cost-saving option, especially if you're traveling with friends or family, and it offers more flexibility for your itinerary. While there's no Uber in Boquete, there are plenty of local taxi drivers available. When hiring a private transport, I suggest negotiating the price to avoid overcharging and confirming the details in advance for a smooth experience. Local drivers in the area are knowledgeable and can provide valuable insights and recommendations for your trip, making it even more enjoyable.
Have a fantastic adventure, and safe travels!
