Line 3 uses 2 power supply systems. In the metro tunnel section it uses a 3rd rail.once it leaves the metro tunnel section it raises pantographs for the catenary that the suburban trains use.

@@gustavharpse2993What did you think of the system overall? Was it effective? Does it serve all the locations necessary? Is it clean? And how accessible did you see it with other means of transportation? And how does it compare with your home city?
@@Pan472 It was actually better than I expected. I had seen that there was a metro and a tram, and it was actually surprisingly good. And the very best thing is that I was in Athens for 5 days and a 5 day ticket for unlimited transport in Athens city cost only 8 euros! I never imagined it would be so cheap. For comparison, my hometown, Copenhagen in Denmark, also has a 5-day ticket for central Copenhagen, but it costs DKK 300. About 40 euros

Tusind tak Mikkel! Desværre er Grækenland et uland når det kommer til tog. Men det var mest på linje 1 at der er grafitti. Det skyldes at linje 2 og 3 kun kører under jorden. Dog er linje 2s depot ved Sepolia over jorden, men linje 3s depot ved Monastiraki er under jorden
Only line 1 trains were covered in graffiti. Line 2 and 3 trains barely had any, if any at all. Including suburban trains.
Lines 1 depots is all on the ground except omonia depot but all the trains is in graffiti. Except 1st generation who is running in ISAP isn't in graffiti. 1st generation come to line 1 cause 10th Baths trains was taken for lifting after a brake fail in kifissia
I didn't know that line 2 trains were on line 1
There is 4 generations in line 1
