Compared to other great midfielders such as xavi, ineasta, Zidane they where all great but what makes this man stand out is it’s like he’s got a computer inside his brain his vision, awareness and ball control and long balls are second to none he’s so incredible. This guy and xabi alonso never used to run around the pitch they would find a movement away from the defender and pick a pass so simply, shows you don’t need to be fast to be great at football what you need more is the football brain and that’s what this man had

Never felt a player on the ball as big as a threat as Pirlo (and mostly only seen him in WC/EC when he was aged). His passing ability is just beyond brilliant, he not only manages to shoot this extremly accurate long passes but perfectly makes the ball stop. With him I always had the feeling he could shoot half the field in front of the goalkeeper and the ball would just perfectly start rotating backwards so that the player could be faster than the enemies goalkeeper. Indescribable technique and feeling of the ball. When I think of the best passer in football Pirlo directly pops to my mind.

Just one thing is superior than his precision: his vision.
Guys, in the first part you can see Pirlo dribbling player on his back, he didn't see them! And what about his legendary assist vs Germany in 2006? A pure, complete, extraordinary game vision, an intelligence in play that will never be repeat.

Italian league(Serie A) is hard to play, thats why Ronaldo(from Brazil) and Zidane couldn't play ike they played in Spanish league,Italians have more tough style of play and its hard for players skill to be more visible like in other leagues.

tactically their teams are more more organized than in epl..no spaces so just like laliga its difficult to play there.requires a lot of good ball control unlike in epl lots of spaces makes it easy for any fast player irrespective of ball control skills

Pirlo played for AC Milan and Juventus for lots of year, and he's admired by supporters of both. The best Italian midfielder ever, and one of the best in the world: in my opinion Xavi, Iniesta and him are completely unique in football history, three genius with magic feet who guided the entire team and created goal chance from the back, without being too much offensive and letting the team play with more strikers, wingers or even other "game creator" more offensive.

How the game cries out for these masters of the ball, Pirlo is the king of them all, we had a player at my beloved Celtic in the 60s the late great Bobby Murdoch I think Pirlo might have moulded his technique on Bobbys, but anyway they were both just the best users of a ball you would ever see.

in addition to having both fairy feet, he also had a third eye on the back of his head. It should be remembered that for Allegri (then Milan coach) Pirlo was a finished player, so much so that Milan let him go to Juventus on a free transfer without offering him a contract renewal; with Antonio Conte Pirlo he had his second youth and played the next three years at stratospheric levels, decreeing the fortunes of the Club and also of the national team. In the history of football I have never seen anyone with his vision of the game.
