Well marlo is based off marlon brando who acted in the godfather. Also he was in b&w films which explains the color scheme. I know this because in high school we read a streetcar named desire and watched the movie marlon brando was in.

He came to my island UNINVITED! I was villager hunting, and I didn’t even see him. But the next day I saw the empty plot said “sold” and I went to it and it said “saved for Marlo” or something. I searched it up and I was so annoyed 😭
