There is a certain segment (I won't go into specifics) who think only Black women wear weaves and wigs. Many Black women have long, healthy hair under protective styles. Beyonce has always had long hair. However, her critics will find faults in her appearance, her children 's appearance, etc.

I am a web developer so I specialize in editing video and making things look real when they are not. This video of Beyoncé is real. She is showing her real hair. She has had long thick hair ever since she was a child. You can see it in all of her old home videos. Surely you don’t believe that they edited those videos as well?🤦🏽♀️ All of my BLACK daughters have long hair. My 9 year old daughter’s hair is down to her waist.

My hair grew really long because I was getting sew ins for awhile. I would keep the sew in for a few months and take it out and put it right back in so in a year my hair was so long but I messed it up by cutting it. I should have left it alone

Huge Beyonce fan here, but Im fairly certain thats also a wig. You can tell by the thickness of it on the scalp when its wet. Plus they never show them shampooing the scalp. Plus the quick camera cut aways. Why not just do a great wig line?

Hairstylist use links. They often part the hair to convince people to get them bc of how believable they r. The links match the hair texture wet or dry and they often color them to blend seamlessly. Not saying her hair isnt real but it doesnt prove that its all hers in the video.

We wouldn't know forreal. Those UV Extensions are made to be undetectable. It's a technique that literally melts the extensions into your hair strands. It can be parted in any direction, and we couldn't see it.
But, it does look a lil wig-ish. Her hairline/edges dont look natural...especially by the ears.

A lot of artists opt to wear weaves and wigs in an effort to keep her hair own healthy. In the 90's while shooting for MARTIN, Tisha Campbell explained that the reason she wore wigs on the show is because she was constantly having to have her hair (and makeup) done for the show, which is a lot of wear and tear on your own hair.
