I am also taking sertraline,but I am on 200 mg , I have dealt with both those side effects,but I know I am better off with the medication. Let’s stop the stigma!. Bravo Laura for sharing. I have been on Sertraline now for 3 years and my experience mimics yours. I take 200mg daily and crazy as it sounds increasing the dosage reduced the side effects. It was as if I had to jump over a dosage threshold to overcome side effects. Then, one symptom #2 as you describe just stopped and functioning went back to normal without warning. Lol. Early on in the cycle of Sertraline I did try swapping out for another SSRI - for the same reasons - but it turned out the side effects were a lot worse. I agree 100% coming off the medication, which I tried once is just awful and way worse than putting up with the side effects. Thanks for sharing.
