I'm sure others will agree, I find it so soothing to listen to your calming voice, while watching you cleaning all the cupboards and organizing the supplies in an unhurried fashion. The whole combination along with baking zukkini bread, leaves one with a homey, safe, content feeling, actually ready for a small nap.

Kevin - We had our builder line some of our inside cabinet doors with sheet metal so that we could use magnets to hold recipes, appointment reminders, even favorite post cards, etc. Some of the magnets have clips on them. We even have a magnet that holds a pen. Also, just a note...I have MANY jarred herbs and spices. (Cooking is also a passion for me.) I use a very wide, deep drawer to store the jars upright and in alphabetical order - and label the tops of the jars. Works great.
Congratulations on your reorganization. Looks wonderful! So love your videos.

I've always used thin sheets of cork on the inside of my cabinet doors to post notices and reminders. You can buy cork in thin adhesive-backed sheets. But I like the idea of magnets even better.

Beautiful organization for your ingredients! I too have numerous spices and baking ingredients. My only suggestion would be to store almonds or any nuts in refrigerator or the freezer as they get rancid if not used frequently. That zucchini bread looks great.

I tape index cards inside for the cabinet's contents (baking, entertaining, etc.). An extra large office clip on the inside of a cabinet by your sink and your oven is great for rubber dish washing gloves and oven mitts. Use a command hook for the clip. A metal command hook inside a cabinet can corral measuring cups and spoons. Magnetic knife strips can not only hold knives, but also magnetic labeled spice jars too! Pegboard can be your friend. Rails with s hooks. I learned all this through trial and error!! 😅😅😅

I love zucchini bread! It's such a great way to use extra zucchini if you are a gardener. It makes wonderful gifts too because most people like it. In my family we have a favorite recipe, and I always add walnuts. You did a great job organizing your baking supplies. I live in a tiny NYC apartment so I really only have one drawer for utensils and one cabinet for spices and the like. It's almost impossible to organize it in any Pinterest worth way but I do the best I can. When not in use, the stove holds my frying pans, measuring cups etc. When I bake I have to clear it all out and put it in the living room!

And cooking is certainly one of them. I love your utube channel and find it refreshing and most of the time relaxing {unless your talking about working out}. Something l found that helps so much for refrigerators, is lining the shelves and drawers with clear plastic shelf liner. The brand I use is called Life Liner. The fabulous thing is that it’s ribbed. So you can place a plastic milk carton and it can dry. It saves an expense fridge from getting scratched up. Also if you spill sticky stuff on it. You remove the items off of the one piece. You don’t need to leave the fridge open while you clean the spot. My friends have all spiffed up their fridges. My daughter too , but I had to do hers !!! Blessings from California. 🐻‍❄️ Forgot to add, I use the clear liner so the light can shine through !

She offered to let me try one. And if I didn’t like it she would take it off the check. Well, I LOVED it. Then I got my friends hooked and my husband !! Theirs almost taste a bit like gingerbread also ! Thanks for sharing Kevin ! Blessings from California ! 🪼

I keep a plethora of different types of nuts in my freezer to keep them fresh.
To keep my brown sugar soft and from not forming hard “rocks” of sugar I use a plastic container with a built in plastic button shape on the underside of the lid to hold a terra cotta disc that I pop off and wet with water once a month. It’s a kitchen must for me.

I do my thorough kitchen cabinet cleaning in the early fall. I also make note of all expiration dates and make a list of those things I need to replace. I love your. use of space to organize your household. You are fortunate to have all the room you do. I also think your centers are a great idea; you can go right to where you need to find that item. Zucchini bread with nuts is a favorite here. I read another comment about nuts. Yes, store them in the freezer. They will last a lot longer I've found. Have a happy relaxing Sunday with your Mr. Fox, Binky and Avery. You should do a video for us on pet treats or have you?

It’s always a good feeling to open a closet or cabinet and find it organized and clean. However, storing liquids, such as your small bottles of extracts, on their side in a drawer seems like it’s asking for trouble. Invariably at some point, the caps won’t be on quite tight enough or even when tight could still leak and you will be left with a colossal mess.

It's hard to watch you do kitchen cupboard organization, as this is something that I have put off doing for quite awhile. I still have Halloween candy on a top shelf from two years ago. Boxes of French truffles that I received as gifts that I can't eat due to pre diabetes. I did give some to my taxi driver while they were fresh. Just forgot to get rid of the rest. You've given me the strength to reach up there and grab that stuff and throw it away. Maybe I will try cleaning one cabinet at a time. I love the zucchini tea bread you made. It's that time of year where there's an abundance of zucchini, tomatoes, and other garden produce. A nice lady at my local farmers market gave me an overload of zucchini, corn, and other vegetables, just yesterday. When I got home I remembered you showing us the proper way to prepare and freeze vegetables. I'm going to do with the zucchini, and corn. I might make pickled beets also. One year with a friend I actually pickled zucchini. But I will try making the tea bread also. Thank you for the great video today. I'm inspired to clean and organize my kitchen. Take care.♥️🏡🫖

If I may, I'd like to make a suggestion when it comes to organizing spices; pre-made spice drawer organizers are available on line. With that said, I haven't noticed a Food Saver in your kitchen; no kitchen should be without one. I place all my dry goods into Mason jars and the seal them air tight with the Food Saver ; a permanent marker (does wash off with a bit of elbow grease) to identify the contents.😁

I have a paper taped to the inside of one of my cabinets. When I take a dish or a meal to someone I write down the dish and the date and who I took it to and then when my bowl or whatever is returned I check it off. I have lost a lot of dishes and had no idea. Of course I use disposable but there's just something much more loving and homey about real dishes.

❤❤ Well, my in my kitchen drawer I keep all my spices in alphabetical order, on the outside I write at the bottom the date they will expire.
This way when I am doing a recipe is easier to see if I have the spice, otherwise I will buy it at the store and always look at the date.
Regarding the inside of the cabinets. One is for baking (I will print a list of the items and date of expiration). I use the same concept. Baking takes the space of the entire cabinet.
In the same cabinet I have a small basket that contains all the decorations for cakes or cookies.
Another cabinet is for all cans (this will only be one shelf).
The second shelf are all my pasta.
Another shelf are all my lentils (in a jar), there's didderent colors of lentils. A jar of split peas. A har of black beans etc. Every jar is labeled and dated.
Another cabinet has all my different types of tea (same process all has to be dated).
❤ this is how I don't go insane looking for items.
At the same token, I print a list of everything inside the cabinet , I usually tape the list inside the door.
This way again, all I have to do is read the list and see what I have in the shelf.
Well my friend ❤ now is time to make the peach torte you made the other day.
    Finally got my peaches❤👍🙏💎

Nice job. I have my baking spices in plastic tray in the cabinet. I slide out the tray and grab what I need. Think my cabinets are deeper than yours. Inside the door I have a favorite pancake recipe. Inside the door of my tea cabinet, I have a magazine page of various hot tea ideas.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who tapes recipes and notes inside the cabinets. 😄 It's helpful to see how you clean and organize. Makes it seem less overwhelming and even joyful. Plus if you have a tasty treat at the end of the job to look forward to, all the more motivation. 🥰

Love seeing you organize everything! You've inspired to me to re-organize my baking supplies! The zucchini bread looks delicious but one question. Can you make that recipe in muffin tins? Thank you for another wonderful video!
