Take a sereious look at the Appion SPDKIT-R, for the larger systems. We were using 2 recovery machines on a large Daikin system, with my partner using that method. He was finsiing his 1st tank I was finising my 3rd, my first tank was done in like 10 minuites. I use the SPDDIT-R with the Recovery tank in 10 gallon trash can packed in ICE. I'm making corksrew evaporator to go in an ice bucket today for another large VRF recovery next weekend. You know your recovery is going well when the core-tools 🥶 are covered in ICE.

When recovering refrigerants, I usually removed the core using a core removal tool and recover first on the liquid side.
