What he means is the brand new recovery tank comes with a nitrogen charge, that needs to be bled off, just open it and let it shoot out. Then, you want to pull a vacuum on your recovery tank to ensure it is free of any non-condensables from blowing the nitrogen charge.
This is the best video so far and so easy to understand. I really thank you very much for helping me after so long to understand the process even at school where I studied they didn’t explain it so easy. Please continue making this great videos 🙏🙏
great explain , please could you explain high pressure refrigerant recovery and store method in chiller plant , what is the function of heat exchanger in that method?
Or get a real recovery machine Fieldpiece MR45 and do a dual-hose recovery at the same time. I don't have time to be standing around. Or close one valve and pull it all out one side. But when you are using a Robinair with a Vevor junk tank, maybe this is how it is done.
Remember people these are basic videos for beginners so please don't try any of this unless you get hands-on training from some it can be very dangerous or you can destroy AC unit videos are very good for people who are in school or are learning from a professional
Unfortunately, we don't do that in Europe. Due to regulations introduced by mentally ill bureaucrats, the gas is being released into the atmosphere. The regulations state that in order to empty the device of refrigerant, you must have a specialized license issued by the government. To obtain a license, you must complete an expensive course and pass an exam in which, in addition to the technical aspects, you must learn several Directives, i.e. complex legal acts. The directives introduced a complicated administrative procedure requiring the preparation of protocols for each activity. After recovering the factor, it must be delivered in a specialized car to one designated foundation that accepts it, but it has to be paid dearly for it. If you make mistakes, they may take away your F-gas license and give you a large fine. The only way to avoid errors and costs associated with supplying the refrigerant for regeneration is to release the refrigerant into the atmosphere and prepare a report that the installation was leaky and the gas escaped on its own.
Hello sir I loved your videos I'm a technician teacher in tigray regional state of Ethiopia. Can I use your videos to translate language and publish in my channel?
In the liquid line, the liquid refrigerant will be there. In the vapor line, vapor refrigerant will be there. So, recovering vapor in the vapor port will be easy and quick. And if we try to recover vapor in the liquid port, it may damage the ac system and recovery machine.
@@zebralearningsenglish-pn6fl Into the recovery cylinder. There is a liquid side and a vapor side. You can just recover liquid into the vapor side of the empty recovery cylinder....
Please use refrigerant weighing scale during recovery to ensure that you dont overcharge thr cylinder above 80%. The formula to calculate the allowable maximum weight of rerigerant is; Max Wt=(0.8 × WC) + TW. -WC is water capacity and TW is weight of empty cylinder. Their values are stamped on the cylinder coller. Overcharge can cause explosion. Dont play play!
Releasing refrigerants into the atmosphere is incredibly harmful to the environment and often illegal. Responsible practices involve recovering the refrigerant. It can then be sent to facilities for reuse or safe disposal. This is a much better option than just venting it into the sky.
If you are a beginner like me don't forget to bleed the air out of the entire recovery system before opening the recovery cylinder.
Hi I'm a bigginer would you help me out?
How you do that ?

This is very helpful for me, a beginner

Happy to hear and Motivating !
This is easy to learn,
Great job & very thankful to you bro
Thanks and welcome 😊
Great sir ji good job ❤❤❤
Thank you ❤️
Great work thx , but is recovery done with AC working or not ???
It will be done when the AC is off.
Can you tell me what will do it has leaking from the AC unit ,..it is alright if I recover from the AC unit refrigerant
Yes, you can recover the refrigerant and find out where the leak is with the help of nitrogen and arrest that leak and charge the refrigerant again.
Really great brother very very useful and save the environment, update lots of videos
Very nice video! Thank you very much! Will the a/c oil come out along with gas? How can I understand exact amount of oil sucked out of the system?
❤Thank you so much sir
We need to do cylinders vacuum before filling the cylinder .. there should be filter inlet of the recovery machine ?
great explain , please could you explain high pressure refrigerant recovery and store method in chiller plant , what is the function of heat exchanger in that method?
I will explain

Thanks for your comment. I will make a video with Fieldpiece MR45 soon.

Yes, you are correct. Without proper knowledge, no one should try to do any maintenance or service work in AC.

As far as I am concerned, these rules should be strictly followed in all countries.
Hey brother which country in Europe are you? I'm moving to Italy because of my sick mother and I want to do HVAC course how long is the course?
@@henny1387 Sorry brother, I am currently in UAE and the course won't take much time. For the basic HVAC course 3 months to 6 months are enough.
@@zebralearningsenglish-pn6fl thank you I appreciate it
Is it correct that the liquid port is blue and the vapor port is red, not the other way around?
Exactly, I noticed that too, I’d assume that recover cylinder is similar to the AC system so I wonder if the channel made a mistake…
Red is liquid. Channel made a mistake to collect review:)
how to recover the frayon left on the hose that connect beween the recovery cylinder and the the recover machine? thanks in advance
THANK you
You're welcome! 😊
Thanks my dear friend ❤❤🇮🇳

Are you not suppose to Purge in the end of the recovery process?
Your supposed to purge the lines before you start recovering
Does recovery process extract moisture from refrigerant ?
Moisture should not be inside the refrigerant.
3:08 wait what? Vapor side should be blue valve on tank and liquid should be the red valve. Or is this wrong?
Different recovery tanks switch it up every time but it will always say it on the nozzle
You said it should me done with unit off. You did it which unit off. But the end you said turn off the unit?
Instead of saying switch off the recovery machine, I have said switch off the unit. Thank you for letting me know.
There are only selection for purge or recover
How are we purging the system
Which equipment are you using?
What is the average gauge for the gas
Please 🙏 make videos boiler plate working principle
Are you asking about working principle of boiler?
@@zebralearningsenglish-pn6fl Yes
Okay sure. I will upload.
Can we recover refrigerant without recovery machine

Should be use also Filter Dryer

Wil the compressor oil stay inside the compressor?or go inside the recoverybottle?
Thanks stop recovering when @0psi👍
Yes
Recovering refrigerant is a waste of time. Here we just let it go into the sky. If you recover it what do you do with it. Keep it under your bed

When you say here... Where is here exactly??
where at
Here we just let it go. Theres no point in keeping old gas
You must be from Asia or Africa 😂😂😂
