Was cloudy in Watertown, NY too, but totality was still amazing! Glad I saw it in my quiet backyard though. Birds came back to roost for the night, and had a large group of Red Tailed Hawks circling around my house. Temperature dropped a lot, and a breeze picked up. As soon as totality occurred, the birds stopped chirping immediately, and it was totally quiet. An awesome sight to witness for sure!

The eclipse was visible from thompson park despite clouds. I have pics!!!!!
That's so cool. I can only imagine how old civilizations who did not have the understanding of what is going on reacted to past solar eclipses.
