I was so impressed by your video that I ordered the 120 ft. Pack. My question is, if that is not enough to do my whole house can I order another set and plug them into the existing set?? Thanks again for you Video! Merry Christmas!
Good video. Helped me a lot. Question: You can ERASE individual lights in the app, that was easy. However, if you then go to the SCENARIO section for all of the scenes and effects, ALL of the lights come back on (even the ones you erased). Have you (or any of your subscribers) figured out how to make them stay ERASED? They're permanent so it's no like I'll change my mind and want those back later. If not, I guess I'll cut those off and build jumpers or tape over the lights I don't want illuminated.
Question: when you cut the lights off the end because they were not needed, does this also remove them from the layout or representation of them in the app? I asked Lumary support about cutting excess off and they won’t respond. Guessing they don’t recommend it.
Very informative and to the point. I have a flat roof mpdern stucco home. I always wnated permanent lights like these but my flat surface roof does not look right for them as they are meant to be underlights.
As you said for yourself no ladder on second story's bad boy! Next time at least get rubber ladder stabilizers as a starting base so you don't have to drill into the roof for temporary safety mechanism. Thoes paint stores have the best heavy as a brick rubber stabilizers that are wedge shaped 👍.
The maximum length off of one power pack is 158 feet. The different length kits that they sell them in are 13, 53, 105, 158. For example, if you were to buy the 53 foot length and you needed to add one more strand you could buy the 13 foot by itself and add it to the 53’ to give you a total of 66 feet. If you need to go longer than 158 feet though you will have to buy a second kit that comes with a separate power pack
@@arnoldbogarin5086 problem is they’re really really expensive and have to pay an installer. Manufacturer doesn’t sell direct to customers increasing installation costs.
As a Union Electrician that ladder on the roof is an accident waiting to happen . My brother is in a wheelchair paralyzed due to a fall . It can be over in a split second . Not worth a couple bucks .
Same story here. I have a cousin that's in a wheelchair from a scaffold falling. Me being a union electrician (IBEW 701) I have done some questionable things at times.
I hear you. Unfortunately there is stucco under the eaves and I didn’t want to drill into it. Would rather install it on the fascia. I think it still looks pretty good.

Glad you liked them! Yes, you can add to that set. They sell 13’ extensions. You can’t go over 158’ total
Peel stick pull screw click. Great work.
They’re really easy.
Thank you!
You're welcome!

Are they available in a dark brown ?
I think they’re only available in white

Good tip! Thanks so much!
Can you add more strings if you run out if I have to order another 150 feet

How do those compare to the lights by groove?
They’re just as good and a bit less money because with Govee you’re paying for the name. These just seem to be priced a bit better.
@ Ya I really like them too!
How would these lights look with a straight wave that has a bay window extending to the gutter?
I’m not sure. Sorry about that.
How far away from the wall should they be mounted?
The manual says 2” from the wall. I didn’t have 2” in some locations and they still look good.
How much did you charge to install?
8 hrs at $150 hr - $1200
Check out gemstone lights if u want some thing seemless

I need 200 ft of lights, so I will need 2 kits and 2 power sources to supply power or can they be connected together using one power supply?
Correct. You would need to buy the 158’ kit and a 53’ kit. 2 power supply’s. Then you can link them together to work in tandem.
Thanks for the info!

These are just installed too far from the house IMO, 4" would have been perfect and much better light reflection.

nothing beats traditional color lights , white lights boring
Color lights are nice!
