I recently put the Govee Lights on my house and I love them. They are so bright and colorful. It’s also nice they can be used for any occasion or just a white light at night.
It's condensation from the high temperature combustion in the engines that freezes after in the cold air. I thought it was normal to see as I see it behind almost any plane at high altitude where I am maybe depends on the temperature where you are.
Hey nic! Nice video, I was looking forward to buying these! I experienced many products with govee before and they impress me! Also, no rush but when does the December testing coming? January is approaching soon!! So I can’t wait to see the annul testing.
The generator only powers the panel in the garage. None of the house circuits are powered off that panel they are all off panels in the house that are not on generator for various reason reasons I have a video explaining.
Version 1 have 20 lumens of brightness, no dedicated white LED and no splice kit. Version 2 is 40 lumens and a dedicated white led. Pro are up to 200 ft with an extra power box, extra white led and 50 lumens. They also contain a splice kit. Technically every kit is able to be spliced in any method you want to use. It’ll all work as long as it’s wired correctly. The reason why govee says you can’t splice the others is because they want to upsell on the splice kit
Pro's- 200' max lighted segments, RGBWWIC, so two white channels plus the RGB and more lumens per light, fully cuttable for jumps and areas that are harder to reach. 2's/Elites are the same item, 2's are Govee and Amazon, Elites are big box store exclusive, 150' max lighted segments, 1 white channel and a step down on the lumens per puck, cutting voids warranty. 1's or OG RGB only no dedicated white diode, less lumens per puck, same as 2's on cutting (can be done and is done a lot, just voids warranty) 150' max
They look real nice but one concern I have is water intrusion especially where the adhesive sticks the light to the surface of the house. If they are supposed to be permanent, this would seem like a legitimate concern.
I do want to get these, but these are expensive because of our House Design needing to get several strands of these. I would save Up or get the Outdoor LED Strips
Well done I have a question so if you had 5 3.5 volt battery with a 6.5 buzzer would the buzzer work because my school told me it would but I don’t believe that can you tell me
Nic I need some help I want to get another fire panel but I need some suggestions I have a addressable and conventional panels what would u recommend ❤
I would like to put up lights permanently but my damn hoa won’t let me keep them up year round. If I don’t comply with their rules I lose access to the pools and worse so on.

Nic could you please try to do an update video on these particular Govee lights in the summer? I would like to have an update 6 months from now on how they are holding up.
very good christmas video for christmassy ceeklbrations.. very good sir indeed bruh u said "feet" ur not american ur canadian. U mean 300 kilometres by igloo.
Kilometres definitely isn't a unit you would use in comparison to feet you would be using meters. But my American viewers get very upset with me when I use metric measurements.
I just got these 1 month ago, these are so good. I am glad you got them too. Now enjoy them and show off your house to your neighbors, lol.m

Amazing video as per usual Nik! I especially loved the shots at night with them on. THEY LOOK AMAZING!!!! :)
Thank you I appreciate it thanks for watching to the end.

@@nics-systems-electric i see it sometimes, its rarer tho, im in australia btw
just never seen it moving before
@Clip_It1 they move in the wind
@Clip_It1I never see it in QLD but when I was in Melbourne I saw it a lot because of the colder climate.
I installed these on my two story house last night. They are awesome! Totally worth the price.
How far from the wall did you install. I have a 2 story that I am going to install this week. I was worried the height would be too much for them
Nice! I think you installing Christmas light brings more feeling to the Christmas season
These lights are permanent, they have many modes for Hollidays, these is why he probably went with these.
Those lights are so beautiful such a good job your videos are so good 😊
Pretty. I love govvee stuff have it all over my house.
Very cool project Christmas light install red and green
We are actually getting these for our house! Thanks for the video!

Thanks. I've enjoyed their other products myself. December testing will be out as soon as possible but had to be postponed.
I have seen some houses near me that have these. They look quite nice. The owners use them for other holidays, not just Christmas.
❤
You should have the lights powered by your generator so when the power goes out you can still have lights
Please lol

You should get a generator for the house
If I was his neighbor and the power was out for my house and his fancy lights were on I would be pissed
@@JoshPlayzJG that's a them problem.
Very Nice Setup Nick Happy Holidays to you
I love Govee LED so much!
Amazing ! I use govee strip lights and curtan lights for my room :p looks amazing !
The lights look awesome
lol, looks awesome, and your neighbors must love you
Two of the neighbours got them first and I couldn't let that slide.
🤣🤣🤣

Thats nice plus merry cristmas
OMG. I WAS WAITING FOR THISSS
Tell me you are Canadian without telling me...
Win, are you doing December testing? Also, what are you doing for New Year’s for 2025?
They look real nice but one concern I have is water intrusion especially where the adhesive sticks the light to the surface of the house. If they are supposed to be permanent, this would seem like a legitimate concern.
From what I've heard the adhesive lasts. If not I can add more or use a building adhesive glue if there was issues.
@@nics-systems-electric just silicone/caulk it
I believe the pro’s are brighter than the 2’s
Wen are you doing a December testing for fire alarm system and emergency lights
I made my own with addressable leds and a custom controller.
14:13 how are you typing keys on your phone without touching it?
Its a screen recording
Hopefully you got them on sale. I saw they're $700 normally.
Yes on sale

Sometimes things will work on a lower voltage than their rating sometimes not you'd have to try.
@ so if you had 3.5 volts x 5 with a buzzer what can handle 6.5 would it mostly work
@ 3.5 V batteries in parallel is still 3.5. 3.5 in series with five would be way too much.
@@nics-systems-electricyeh and my teacher say it will and he’s to scared to test it lol 😅
@@nics-systems-electricthank you 😊
Nic I need some help I want to get another fire panel but I need some suggestions I have a addressable and conventional panels what would u recommend ❤
Addressable would let you do more. I personally stick to Honeywell as I find them easiest to work on and the most user-friendly but that's just me.
@@nics-systems-electric what panel model do u recommend
The permanent lights outdoor pro has more white color customization like warm white or plain led white
Thanks for the info
Just wondering why you didn’t purchase the Pro version??
They weren't available in white and weren't on sale.
Ah right… No I was just wondering if it was personal choice
What's wrong with the other ladder?
It's heavier, aluminum, too stiff.
I would like to put up lights permanently but my damn hoa won’t let me keep them up year round. If I don’t comply with their rules I lose access to the pools and worse so on.
That's just crazy.

Hi bro
Did you feel an earthquake on Thursday? If you heard about it
👇 (not begging)
No
Nooooo, now what's the fun for doing the lights.
What do you mean?
I think my lights are a bit better...
the ultimate christmas lights are trutone. These are def gonna fail after a few years.
I'm not aware of any permanent lights by them. They both have the same rated lifespan.
