Uncle Quincy was also a South African music icon, second most popular after Michael Jackson. He dedicated his world renowned piece “We’re the world, we are the children” to South Africa’s transition to democracy. He was one of our own too, and visited Nelson Mandela at his Soweto home. His music gave hope to all of us growing up in the townships. God bless uncle Quincy 🙏🏽🙏🏽🇺🇸🇿🇦
everything must change nothing stays the same everyone will change no one, no one stays the same the young become the old and mysteries do unfold for that’s the way of time no one, and nothing goes unchanged there are not many things in life one can be sure of except rain comes from the clouds sun lights up the sky hummingbirds fly winter turns to spring a wounded heart will heal oh but never much too soon no one, and nothing goes unchanged The young become the old and mysteries do unfold for that’s the way of time no one, and nothing stays unchanged there are not many things in life one can be sure of except rain comes from the clouds sun lights up the sky hummingbirds fly rain comes from the clouds sun lights up the sky hummingbirds fly rain comes from the clouds sun lights up the sky hummingbirds fly everything must change
This duet has created a defining moment that can be embraced by every walk of life, reaching to the soul and resurfacing as both comfort and inspiration. Thank you so much!!!!
Astonishing rendition of a classic which Nina Simone and Oleta Adams made their own, uniquely, but wow, my dear Edsilia, you do are up there with tem, with your very own felt love. Thank you.
Many people can sing, but just a few can tell the story of a song. Edsilia does it! Amazing voice and amazing performance. Soulful. Bring your talent to the entire world, Edsilia. The ladies from the Netherlands have immense talent. Bravo!!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏

Thank you for sharing your voice with the world. Living here in the USA without your videos I would never have heard your incredible talent. Amazing performer.
How is this magnificent woman not a huge star in this world is beyond me. Check her out with an all-girl pop band singing Glayds Knight and the Pips' classic Midnight Train To Georgia. Humm, so sweet in every way.
So good. She should have done this as a duet with Oleta Adams in 2017. My favorite song by Adams, and this is a a superb rendition on the same level of professionalism and emotion. Hope to see her with LoS in November.

Exquisito el acompañamiento
Mooi! Uitvoering van Randy Crawford is nog oorstrelender. Wat een opbouw en stembeheersing!
Amazing! Bravo
Wow, what a great interpretation!
I sang a version of this last month at my fathers homegoing service. Thank you Edsilia for this powerful beautiful rendition.
At my fathers service in 1988 I had it changed to say everything must change except Jesus is my lord and he will come back again
Absolutely beautiful
Nu alles gebeurd op deze aarde, komt dit lied nog meer binnen dan ooit.

Beautiful!
Heart torn rendition😪
💕
I don't like the piano choices here ..... Edsilia deserves better .....
That voice deserves a better arrangement.
I like Randy Crawford's version better, but she has a good voice. Too much intro.
Too many riffs an runs, so oversung, spoils the simple message in this song. Peggy Lee rendtions gets it right, with half the effort.
