The Satpura look so flaky and delicious . My mum used to make these but she should to roll lots of rotis and stack them one on top of another and roll them then cut. I like your technique too. Seeing these brought back fond memories.

You can give it a try but I don't think the result will be as good as this. Even I avoid using Maida but once in a way it is ok I feel if the recipe calls for it
