My bf has had his place for a year and he had no idea there was a ceiling light in his entranceway until last week. As professionals, the delivery people should have had at least some ideas abd should've checked before doing major work like this.

yeah, this is normal when ( and this is a HUGE CAVEAT) you're falling asleep. They're called hypagogic hallucinations and happen when you're not quite asleep and not quite awake. Hearing someone call your name, hearing a big boom, and the sensation of falling are all pretty common. however, if you ever get hallucinations throughout the day or feel out of touch with reality, please please please talk to a medical and/or psych professional. a whole range of neurological or psychological things could be going on and its always better to get that looked at early.
While I do enjoy the clay mation one, it removed the first part of the story and jumped into the part after Bob bought the fridge, so I like this one a little bit better.
Bob saying that these guys showed up over an hour early reminded me of when i took off of work because my grandmother said "hey the spectrum people will be here to replace the boxes, internet thing, and check our jumper boxes. They said they will be here on the 11th some time between 9 am and 3 pm, you will have to let them in and make sure they do it all good because i don't understand it so i am just going to my sister's". They guy showed up to do his job at fucking 7:39 am, mom had already left to drop siblings off at school and went to work. Grandmother and me still asleep, so he left a note saying no one answered the door at 9 am (covering his ass i guess). Grandmother called them and raged on her way up to her sister's that day, and said they were coming back out by 5 pm that day. They didn't show, like not even a spectrum van go by. The next day they called and said "your spectrum technician got into a life threatening car accident at-driving to a customer's house so your upgrades will be scheduled at a later date" What the fuck kinda scammy shit is this "technician" doing that this is what they use as the cover story? 🤬 Like fucking god damn

Pocketcasts shows it as only being ten minutes long, and Audible shows the full length, but is only ten minutes when I actually try to play it
My mom just had a similar experience. Apparently they get payed per delivery so they really just want to rush as quick as possible to the next delivery. They damaged our water line and it was fixed by a plumber the next day that my mom had to hire. They came the day after to deliver the fridge and they literally refused to listen to my mom at all. They even started yelling at her at one point when she was asking about why they left the wrap on a part of the fridge. When the wrap was taken off it was scratched they where literally hiding it. They did a lot more bull shit but fuck it’s so frustrating. It was hard to hear how stressed out and upset my mom was especially because she’s usually really laidback with shit like this.

As someone who's starting working in retail, in particular unpacking deliveries for the store, never assume the people involved know what they are doing. There has been so many paint spillages because the guys in the warehouse have put paint tins on top of an unsteady pile of boxes and by the time it gets to us, there is no way of us opening the cage door without the paint falling. Just today, I've had 3 or 4 cages where I've had to open the door slowly to try and make the descent of all the items more controlled so the items are less likely to break or ask someone to hold the cage door slightly open so I can take them out while they are still leaning on the door. One of the boxes that would have fallen had heavy glass objects in it.
Their contract may have changed so they can only publish the podcast with who produces it. Or it may have been a mutual agreement amongst the three of them, but given that none of them have talked about it or made an announcement makes me think it’s something to with a contract/something legal.
I haven't run into audio fading in and out with my Spotify app! The only time audio pauses for me is when there's supposed to be an ad break, but the ad doesn't come in for whatever reason 😂

It's not like a dented toaster or something, it's the fridge. Which you're hoping will last for YEARS. Having a dent right on the front would bother the f outta me and draw my eye every time I walked out to the kitchen. Maybe you'd accept, but most people who are capable of being assertive and reasonable would refuse delivery and demand a replacement.
