Sitting here missing the teachings of Bill on MWW, wondering where life found him...Run a Google search and come upon this pod cast. This was awesome, loved the content, the flow, and seeing a side of Winke I've never had the privilege of seeing. I would absolutely listen to any audio files he produced. Thank you for this guys, you have my sub.
He does a fair amount of talk ;) in all honesty it’s our job to keep the discussion on track and engaging. That’s why sometimes we interject. It’s a podcast not a monologue
What I have always appreciated about Midwest Whitetail was the integrity and honesty of the people involved which made the whole experience believable.
Totally enjoyed this , yes us joe average types felt like " where did Bill go"..Cleared up a lots. He helped sort out lot of whitetail info. Being 66 years old , I followed him before all the digital days....As an author I think he foresaw the decline of paper media ( magazines) thanks for restoring my faith!!!
It has been in 2018 a friend had drawn 6 pts to be able to hunt Iowa in zone 5, and this year another friend drew his 6 pts. to hunt 2022. My first friend shot a 152" gross and this years friend shot a 164" gross that was 9 point and the 152" was a ten point with split brows.
Can't Wait to see where Bill will go from here! So glad I watched this podcast, it explained a lot. And I am now a new subscriber to this channel. Great job guys!
Great interview with Bill Winke. Too exciting to not step on his comments / story endings when you're adding your reflections and commentary I'm sure. But a little frustrating for the listener...
Great podcast guys! It was great to here what Bill has been up to & all the behind the seen stuff with MWW. Can wait to see what he what he's planning next!
Id say write more video books bill! We love the information you give out! I continue to go back and watch your old videos just like as if you were still there! 👍👊☺️ thanks for everything you keep giving the hunting community!
Great podcast, so many unanswered questions answered.. I miss Bill on MWW but wish him the best and hope to see him in some form in the future.. I'll be headed to the Jared podcast next. Good job Guys.
Great podcast guys.. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. With today's technology I'm sure Bill could do live updates and small video clips with information of what he's doing and he'd have many followers. The website with older videos with new daily clips or just blogs from the day will help us hunters in real time and would be much appreciated. His family should come first and I'm sure I'll be happy with anything Bill decides to do. Thank you
Thanks Chad! We are really excited to hear what Bill has in store. Could you imagine driving to hunt and having an audio Bill Winke tell you what his experience was the same time frame and what to expect?
Yes hunt him your putting a excellent perspective on suburban or rural hunting everything your saying about this buck is a must hunt he is your next Zeus or Thor get em down
No disrespect to Jordan as he is awesome and a trailblazer, I see him more of a founding father of whitetail TV with Jackie Bushman than digital series. That’s a Bill Winke and maybe Grant Woods honor
Just found this channel. Loved it! Always been a big Midwest Whitetail fan. Such a relatable conversation too - I ran D1 track & cross country in college as well. I can also recall the moment I discovered midwest whitetail and how I couldn’t get enough of it. Can’t wait to do the same to some of your content. Good luck!
Idk why it took me so long to find this podcast it was actually a tik tok video I seen about guy finding deer mount how I found this channel because RUclips Hates hunters and gun guys
A side from the love of deer hunting, are employers just hiring interns who are college graduates or do they look for other groups of people such as military veterans?
Good points. Also as even a grown adult who is just starting as a hunter and who has learned so much from these videos and others it means a lot when the creator responds to the comments. I mean it might make someone's day. I know it has mine. Please keep up the great work guys!!!
@@HUNTRPOD Love the interaction but it was a little frustrating to listen to when Bill wasn’t able to finish his thought several times throughout the conversation. Personally I prefer podcasts where the “guest to speaker” talking ratio is 70/30. Keep up the good work!
@@drewcollins77 good call. We're trying to be better about that. That's one of the difficulties of remote pods. Appreciate the feedback and thanks for listening! We just did another pod with Bill. Check it out and let us know if we did any better
I’ve watched this like 3 times but bill would be awesome doing consulting/teaching all the secrets to setting up land. Sometimes I enjoy the management side as much as the hunt!
Glad 41N pays the interns right off the bat. I would think a small amount of compensation during training then go to full salary post training is the best. Seems like it makes it only for wealthy kids since your average person can't take no pay from an internship as a senior and working 80 hours a week.
Bill,,, how about mass text, with vid clips,, But, to wear peeps can't reply just watch or even like bill hunitng app either audio or quick vid via phine could be cool I'd follow
Yes, that would be cool but I always got the vibe that there was a big falling out between bill and the THP guys . Maybe not but just kind of always seemed that way.
Yes, that would be cool. I always got the vibe that there was a big falling out between bill and the THP guys. Especially with zack. I don't think I have ever heard zack make reference to bill or the Midwest days. Greg and Arron yes, but not zack. So I just always got the vibe that they had a big falling out. I could be totally wrong but just always seemed like there was some animosity there
I have to say I enjoyed the podcast, however I would like to hear more from the guest and less from you guys no disrespect but I think more people are interested in what bill has to say.

Thanks for the listen Zach. Just a hint, but may want to check back in a week or so if you’re wondering what Bill is up too
Let him talk viewers are here to listen to bill

Phil - Mike, Jared, and the crew will keep that going for sure
The best whitetail mind in the country in my opinion....stay true to yourself and stay happy Bill!!
Agree Chad!

Thanks for listening Perry! Agree he is a wealth of knowledge and is not done making an impact on our industry just yet!
Bill is one of the most interesting people on earth, his story is so helpful to learn from as well!!
We always love getting to talk to Bill!
Bill you are a trendsetter. Very interested in the content you produce. By far the most informative and educational videos produced in the industry!
We are excited to see what Bill has in store!
@@HUNTRPOD I know I didn't really follow MW this past year. It just wasn't the same without him. People will tune in to whatever he does

Just found these podcast while on the way home from putting cameras out in georgia. Makes a drive way better!!!
Awesome man
This my new favorite podcast
Awesome podcast fellas. Bill Winke is the Godfather of whitetail hunting.
That he is Steven!
Lol
There's no bigger fan of Bill Winke than me but I wouldn't go so far as to call him the godfather of whitetail hunting.
what a legend and a great human being. can't wait to listen

Sorry about that Eddie! We will try to be better at letting guys talk, but you’re right, we just get so into the conversation
Thanks Bill

The only over the counter deer tags in CO are leftover tags.
Great podcast, what a legend and incredibly humble.
Thanks for listening Chris!
Bill has such a great business mind can’t wait to see what his next moves will be
David we were so excited to hear he’s got more in the tank
Yes hunt him your putting a excellent perspective on suburban or rural hunting everything your saying about this buck is a must hunt he is your next Zeus or Thor get em down
Awesome podcast, good to get an update on Bill but also good to realize that he's human and can't run the engine at redline forever
We all have limits but it sounds like Bill's battery is recharged!
Im looking forward to see how Bill helps his brother in law out on his hunt
Bill jordan is The Godfather of the digital hunting Industry
No disrespect to Jordan as he is awesome and a trailblazer, I see him more of a founding father of whitetail TV with Jackie Bushman than digital series. That’s a Bill Winke and maybe Grant Woods honor
What part of kansas was that shed from? I have a hunch
Lol you tell us John!
Just incredible hunting and filming! Thank you guys for all you do!

Valid point John. I know the interns had a place to stay when there so that helped with costs

Cool idea kirt, I think a daily video clip (eventful or not) in the season would be great
“THE Hunting Public”
Does the guy on the right have a man bun 😂 as he constantly flexes his arms😂
Bill should just do guest appearances on all the shows that his interns have started!
Yes, that would be cool but I always got the vibe that there was a big falling out between bill and the THP guys . Maybe not but just kind of always seemed that way.

Who owns Midwest Whitetail now?
A group called 41 North which includes a lot of the guys you saw on the show including Mike Reed and Jared Mills
Is this to talk to Bill? Or bill listen to you two talk about yourselves?
One of our firsts interviews Stephen, we acknowledge to much of us. But check out the one we did with Bill a few weeks ago
Is that Harvey Dent?
Go work for Hunting Public! LoL!
I wish I knew a 10th of what he knows
Same here Thomas
Let your guest talk more.
Early podcast days, we (think) much better now
Ole boy winke seemed to be getting irritated by the " business," talk
Bill was actually encouraged by it as not many express interest in that side. Hope you enjoyed it!
@@HUNTRPOD I thought it was interesting
Will Primos went through the same phase as Bill. He just got burnt out.
Love watching those guys. Miss them.
Agree, but don’t count Bill out yet!
