A Shrimping net is a very handy piece of equipment for catching Shrimp but also lost items at the bottom of the canal, just be forewarned that you will need to sift through a lot of sediment in the Net so get a really good one and not a cheap one.
Love watching your videos and poor Matt bless his cotton socks having to jump in the Canal !.
    Definitely good content hehehe 🤭.

Having spent ten years as liveaboards earlier in life, we follow your inspirational videos with great pleasure. Matt in the cold water is awful, but recoverable... friends of ours sadly lost their three year old that way, so please, please always keep your little one under sharp observation. ❤

Shorter videos or longer... just love the relaxing style. Although, Matt swimming in cold canal water for his phone was not at all relaxing to watch! 😬🥶😬 Have a better week than 'phone in canal' week x

I forgot to say that I Love your attitude towards Nature, I always think if people nowadays had more respect for nature then they would appreciate life and nature a lot more and probably be happier better people for it, I have always found that those of us who respect nature, can see the wood from the trees and appreciate the beauty around us,tend to be happier and calmer and more respectful of others around us as well 🤷‍♂️.
Living off Grid is my life’s dream but for now I have to concentrate on looking after my 2 Disabled Adult Sons and making sure that they are ready for when I am no longer around, sorting out their respite and looking for potential residential places for the future is time consuming and unfortunately the places that are available for residential I wouldn’t send a Dog !.
It’s fine if you have money and can afford to go Private but for the rest of us poor people the availability and care is just not suitable atm.
My ideal Home would be a Big House on the Sea Shore with the Beach at the front and the Forest or Nature at the Back Door Lol 😂.
The Scottish West Coast is another contender because there is a Peace there but it’s a inner Peace that is impossible to explain ( standing on the Banks of Loch Lomond ) it was such a calming place and felt like Home….being Complete ?!?!. Did find out later my ancestors come from Scotland so maybe because of that ?. But it is such a Beautiful place with all the Mountains/Lochs/Waterfalls and the Smell of the Heather !.
You can lose yourself there, you sit and watch nothing in particular, listening to the silence and time becomes unimportant? We all fell asleep ( quite unusual for my 2 autistic son’s 😳) when we were at a place where there is a big waterfall.
The sound of water and the look of water is another calming sensation, just by the sea or river and you can feel its breath on your soul…… But people have to stop and look at it and listen to it and let it breathe into you 🤷‍♂️.
How many people these days take a moment out of their busy lives to just stop and watch a bumble bee moving around the meadow on the flowers ?.
Or listen to the breeze in the meadows ?.

Beautiful expressions of words, thank you for sharing. How wonderful that your sons fell asleep on the Banks of Loch Lomond, I’ve never been but it sounds so very beautiful. I’d love to visit Scotland.
Yes I think you’re exactly right, the connection of your ancestors coming from there explains why you probably felt so at home!

YOUR SO RIGHT ….. You shouldn’t Laugh 😅 Poor Matt shivering in front of the fire. I’m with him , I don’t do COLD water . I like how Louie came to the rescue , when the other dog was hanging around . With all the very Hot weather we are having now , a cool dip might be more inviting. Hope your all enjoying this Hot Spell ….. Stay safe .
