I play the best tennis of my life with the 340 rf97 and im 41. I started playing with the rf97 when i turned 35 and had the best results of my life. I won my clubs clubchamps and are on the board as nr 1 in the club
I can only concur with the benefits of a lighter racquet. I am 51 years old, play around 4.5, and like a classic, soft, thin beam racquet. Played with the Prince Phantom 93P for a couple of years, love the feel, but found it really too tiring after a set of singles. I have since then switched to an Angell TC95 16x19 weighting at 310g, and find if far more manageable over the course of a game.
Exactly where I am at. The 93p is incredibly comfortable and my favourite racquet to play with, but too tiring. I switched to the 97p. My brother's Angell Custom 95 is my second racquet of choice.
I'm 45 yo, and pretty fit and I think 337 grams is the goldilocks zone for me with my Phantom 97P. I think that's the limit for me. I'm curious about trying a RF97, but I feel like it would be a mistake going to 360 grams strung having come fromt he K Six One Tour which I stopped using as I kept losing matches. Now with my 97P, i'm taking matches again together with some improved endurance training.
My stock Ncode 95 six one weighs 348g strung. My favorite racket is the Ultra Tour 97 v2 that I added weight to, weighs 353g 7-8HL, but I have big Popeye forearms. The control and sweet spot reward you get from this ultra tour is Gangbusters!
I get the idea that the guy conducting the interview doesn't really know that much about racquet variety, pro stocks, or how the racquet industry works. Kinda makes him look clueless.
I know Djokovic was using a Wilson pro stock H22 which is the current blade pro but what were the actual specs he was using with this racket before he made the switch back to Head. Were they the same as his Head racquet or different?
From what exists on the internet.... Agassi’s rackets were between 350 and 362g. Never heard of anyone saying Agassi’s rackets being 330g. Anyone.....?

Great insight the interviewer is annoying very unprofessional Looking around don't seem to be playing an interest and doesn't even have questions really seem he doesn't know what to ask him
been playing with rf 97a for more than 8 years never had any arm issues
What an absolute gem of a person Roman. Thanks so much sharing this wisdom 😊
The interviewer needs to stop talking and let Roman speak. He literally knows fuckall about the topic
Agreed.
its why he has 309 subs
Absolute legend. Thanks.
Yes! Thank you for bringing Racket Tech to the forefront. Love this!

I actually had Roman string my RF 97 lol
intro music please
I'm a former pro and the greatest racket ever made is the prince CTS oversized approach.
the interviewer does a disservice to his guest and listeners by not being informed beforehand.
Makes it more real

What about Goran Ivanisevic and Sergio... Come on bro!
Becker and Sampras rackets were over 400 grams
Me too. Its not a big deal
Nadal's watch is 40g and rolex is 152g.
So why is a RF97 10grams such a issue
Sigh. So many dumb questions wasted on a brilliant mind.

Yeah, right, the previous mayor - Mike Bloomberg - was the very best. Ok, boomer.
suck it clown.
Bloomberg lived off of his own money. New York was a place where small businesses thrived. Deblausio, not so much.
